You get a sub because this game needs more exposure and not nearly enough people play and record. Dev is very active with the members of the community. It's great with how responsive he is to issues that come up and how quickly he resolves them. Has a road map as well somewhere too on the discord.
Great game and made by a single dev. I play this solo and it's great. You can control outside the cab like Run 8 and do engineer/conductor duties no problem
glad you enjoyed the game there is alot of things that need work that were not very good at such as the sounds and things because of the sound engine being used and there is only one doing coding for the game which is joe however there is about to be an update to rolling stock for the narrow gauge as its lacking at the moment and those cars are a co work between myself and our texture guy we hope to make a game you guys can enjoy even more :)
I play this a lot on smaller map I recommend trains with nick he has tutorials on some the stuff the game doesn't tell you. Example top left under money is your grade % for the section your looking at and only. Also dev is active in the games discord
The game is not much to look at to be honest, but seeing as how it's coded by one guy i can understand it will be a small project. However i really DONT like the rail building mechanic. You don't have rail balast to create relistic leveled embankments and you dont have terrain manipulation to lower/raise/level terrain or do any kind of simple earth works that i can see. The bridge building is also very simple. This is a BIG no-no for me as i am all about making my rails look good in a railroad game. This is probably because of the engine the game was built on so there's that... The sound is very poor, and i don't mean just the silly horn, i mean lack of running sounds, rail friction sounds and so on. It's ok, i guess because it is still in beta, but it needs a lot of work to have any kind of polish. Needs a magic touch from a sound designer and a graphic designer. For 10 bucks it's ok to fuck around for a weekend or two, but if you are a solo player (yes, i have no frends that play games) im guessing it will get boring fast. I guess it's not for me. TY for showing us the game!
It’s actually a very entertaining game that will keep you busy for a while. Just sometimes the track laying can take a bit if you want it to be spot on like I do.

This game looks fun but that horn is to much
its not great lol
A lot of horns are placeholders. The solo dev focused more on stable net code and playability first then sound which game need improvements on.
@@vinter5256 100% we just thought it was funny, its a stable game which is great!
@@AllThingsRailroad the dev also working on construction game called heavy works at same time as loco.
@@vinter5256 do you communicate with the dev?
