This is a railroad documentary video on The Story of Santa Fe 5704 |SD45T-2|. This locomotive has had a very interesting history as it has been in service for 35 years for the Santa Fe and later BNSF Railroads. It is currently being preserved and fully restored by the Southern California Railway Museum. Santa Fe 5704 was one of five locomotives to receive Santa Fe's Bicentennial paint jobs. This locomotives has been fully restored cosmetically within the last few years. This is a very unique locomotive because of its pain scheme and especially now that it's been fully restored. One of my favorite locomotive from Santa Fe is now becoming my favorite forever! I love its paint job and the locomotive is something I am a huge fan of! Thank you so much for the Kansas company who preserved and made this possible! I am now really hoping to see it in Perris very soon!

ATSF #5704 sure is a nice Bicentennial locomotive. She got a great restoration back to her Bicentennial paint job. She's currently still in storage at Commerce with Coaster #2105 awaiting a switch to be replaced before both can head to SCRM.
