I feel like my version of this boss is way more aggressive 😭 also why is THIS the first boss, it's so much work for not knowing what to do. But ty for the vid, I almost gave up the entire game.
Idk how i did it but i felt like i unlocked ultra instinct at my second try thats when i killed it. I didn't know how i would kill it even the second time but i judt went for it thinking an opening would show itself eventually. I wasn't paying attention so i then dropped to one ho thingy idk wot they're called, but i was SOME HOW ABLE TO AVOID HIM AND NOT LOSE MY LAST SKULL THING. Pure luck or ultra instinct kicked in idk.
@@scaramouchescaramouche9369 I find the first 2 bosses super easy. And if your talking about the tutorial boss. I barely get hit by him anymore. He's actually super easy. You have a much better chance at avoiding getting hit on that boss rather than this boss. Though ds3 was one of my first ventures in this kind of difficulty and was hard at first. Now that I'm more adapted to these games this boss only took me 2 tries. The first time all his moves just took me by surprise and got my killed. I almost had him though.
sometimes the lack of a dash or roll move is really daunting. on the other side, it forces the player to find a solution with the few items given. for me it's a mix of lateral thinking and pure frustration, anyway thanx for the video as I can move on. not the best welcome however. I mean dead cells is though but lets you understand at least the bosses pattern, here with only 5 hits it's retry...
Yeah this sorta hard boss for the first one.But it is Hollow knights , it just require patience and technique. I guess. I still need to beat the mini boss tho lol
Not sure what the devs had in mind when creating such steep curve and punishing penalties for reset to soul, but, this video is much appreciated after a bit of cursing out of anger in principle >.>

For me, I play on ps5, so I get a little excited and move the joy stick up on a corner by accident, so when I do that, I’m not hitting no bosses, I’m just hitting the air, my brother suggested I use the arrows on the controller to move but that’s tough for me, because I’d have to be swift and move my finger over to the other arrow, in my opinion it’s difficult.
I refuse to believe that so many people struggled so much with this boss, was he nerfed at any point? I thought it was easy and I looked up this video because I just wanted to know what happened to the weapon from the boss
Im here cuz my friend just started this game and said he had trouble getting past the guard, not even the boss, and I can see how it can be tough for someone new to the genre but honestly a few tries should do it. I hate to be that guy but I really didnt think this game was insanely difficult

What? No, the game is great and not as hard as most say it is. Salt and Sanctuary and Dark Souls (not hard if you take your time either) are much harder than this game.

If y'all think hollow knight is hard then you clearly have never played a single Castlevania game in your life. The first bosses in most of those games are much harder than this. Lol.

Because it’s a challenging game, in my opinion this boss is nothing compared to Dark Souls 3’s first boss

I lost 2 times to figure out this boss fighting pattern, then everything going smoothly
