Oh, I had memorized a shorter, edited version of this speech that existed on youtube, this is the first time I watch the full version. I didn´t know Bruce could be so funny, and he is completely right about U2.

I suspect while Adam and The Edge felt a bit unconfortable with so much praise, Larry was on his way out of the venue when called a professor & the good looking one by The Boss! 😂 I also suspect Bono had none of these issues 😂

They’re both from New Jersey so makes sense.
While most of U2’s newer material is complacent retail muzak and Bono has been past his prime for over a decade, I still admire their spirit and refusal to give up. The world may not always want their music, but it needs their message
