My son was in Iraq during this enormous Bruce Springsteen Super Bowl performance. He just left and it broke my heart that he could not see this performance. We had been taking our son to Bruce Springsteen concert since he was a child so missing this once in a lifetime event was heartbreaking. We recorded it and when he came home in 2012 he was so happy one of the first things he said was did you record Bruce like you said. And that was one of the first things we did together as a family when he came home. Thank you Bruce

But if you get a chance see him now while he's on tour if you can get tickets I understand he's been having health problems and his mother just passed away so do it while you can tomorrow is never promised. Also thank you for sing happy my son came home safely. It was several long deployments and a lot of wear and tear on his body mind and soul he is definitely a different person since he came home. But I will love him no matter what! And be proud of him till the day I die

One of the best Super Bowl Halftime Shows that rarely ever gets talked about. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band put on a SHOW!! It was terrific. 'The Boss' can play on for as long as he wants to and he'll NEVER be boring to watch perform! :-D

Wow!! That was an astonishing performance packed into just 15 minutes. Not a lot of gimmicks and everyone going at break neck pace of performance. For over 50 years….this guy NEVER gives you anything but his best efforts.

The drop to his knees, pop up to his toes and into the backbend...and he was 60 years old when they did this show! I’m half his age and couldn’t do that if I tried.
And while in his 60s. He's called the Boss for a reason. The guy is a genius. And what's more, after 7 decades now of being on this mortal coil, no scandals. Not like some others of his generation who are serving time for various crimes. Bruce really is one of the "good eggs".
Bruce was on it! Next morning, I went to the Giant Eagle and bought 4 tickets to his concert that May at the old Civic Arena. What a great memory that was.
A friend of mine and I just watch the first half of the game to catch this when it happened live. I loved how he redid Glory Days so it fit the event yet the lines still flowed smoothly like the studio version. He was having a blast at the end you could tell.
We just moved to Florida in 2008. Definitely watched this superbowl and my husband said only Bruce can turn halftime into a mini concert. He'll yeah! Im a huge Bruce fan (. Connie Thorpe)

A Super...Super Bowl halftime show...the intro shot with Bruce and The Big Man is a classic. Just saw him in Denver a few days ago with my wife and stepson...he is still as good as he gets...along with the band members! You can never go wrong watching or listening to Bruce and the E Street Band! Thank you for this post and thank you Bruce and E Street Band members for one of best concerts of all time!

A 16 yr old me watching Bruce Springsteen. Nah. Watched that Suoerbowl as an older gentleman. Blown away . Loved him ever since . Funny enough. If you read his autobiography. This is the time he lost faith in himself. And I found faith in him 💙💙💙💙💙💙
The thing anyone will tell you about a Bruce show is that you'll feel like you've been on a journey by the end of it. What's amazing about this is he's managed to take that sensation and condense it down to 12 minutes. I don't know how that's even possible, but these crazy cats did it.

Saw him just once back in '84 in Buffalo I was just a casual fan but when I left the old Memorial Auditorium that night some 3-1/2 hours later! I knew my appreciation of great music just hit an all time high level!

There is no band anywhere like the extraordinary “BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E Street BAND!” Impossible to say how much I love them or how much the world loves them!!! No band or person puts on quite the “party”( 🎵 concert 🎶) that they do!!! Watching this again just literally lit up my day as it dies each time I watch them in any performance!!!! I would give anything to see them! Watching them & this concert is pure magic! (Seeing Clarence makes me so sad 😭 he has passed & miss him so much! His nephew Jake is fantastic but no one like Clarence!!!) What a show they put in here & the crowd adored them too!! Love the songs he chose to perform! How much fun watching this video with “ His multitalented wife & Little Stevie performing too... Max... all in this band form an intricate part of the “pie!” My favorite ever ...ever... EVER IS “GLORY DAYS!!” LOVE WATCHING BRUCE & STEVIE DO MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME!” Love seeing Patty & the these two incredible women rock the house to this incredible song too! I am at Dana Farber in Boston rt now... best hospital in the world ...undergoing radiation ☢️ & long haul ahead of me but my Drs have told me my “goals & outlook are of one yrs younger!” It will help me fight this “yucky disease & my third bout!” I told them I have to get better for I have never seen “BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E STREET BAND” in concert( following Bruce since the 70’s) but never blessed to see him in person. I live in western Massachusetts but had 3 little boys so money went to them & then unable to capture tickets ( sold out before I had a chance when he went to Boston & Mohegan Sun just recently but husband quit working at 78 suffering massive heart attack but praise God, he is doing well now & unfortunately it is me, ♋️ cancer back again but I will beat this! Told Drs my “goal”( dream) is to sit in front row with my husband watching Bruce, Patty & this extraordinary band to “rock out”...” GLORY DAYS STARTS PLAYING & Bruce points to me & pulls me up on stage to dance to this song!” How I actually “get up on that stage at 71 or that I could even afford a front row seat, or he would spit me/choose “me” in a sea of young, adorable girls 😂 is part I don’t take into account lol!🤣but best part of dreams “it keeps you moving forward & praying you get better, looking forward to tomorrow & “your one bright day in the ☀️ sun”, so to speak but keeps me setting my sights on “recovery & getting better”... my last wk of radiation & seeing this! Starting hormonal therapy nx but watching this video gives me hope & it just uplifts my soul!) Watching his performance here & all his performances is such an uplifting experience! Thank-you to the incredible Utube for bringing performances like this to us all! Love Utube & am able to watch Bruce & E Street Band no matter where we are or go this particular wk at hospital in Boston @ Dana Farber, watching this before each treatment I undergo ever day for a month now! I have vivid memories of watching this when I was little with my parents and being so confused why my mom was dancing and my dad was singing. I also remember trying to sing along to glory days at 3 or 4 years old
This reminds me of Queen at Live Aid a jukebox get plenty of hits in and give them 110% make it look spontaneous but have it rehearsed to the nth degree total professionalism in both cases resulting in the greatest live performances.
Anytime my day is not going well all I do is reach for my Xanax and that Xanax is this video. If you never seen Bruce Springsteen play live, all I can say was that it was YOUR loss! I'll NEVER forget the last concert at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. (The Dump That Jumps) Which ironically was the last one ever. Bruce's concert tore it down!

Going through serious health issues these past six months but “took my BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E STREET BAND “ with me 😁no matter what I went through or where I have gone( third time illness has returned & looked to listening to this band to lift my spirits! Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band does that for everyone, sick or ill, happy or sad 🤣you listen to their music 🎼 & instantly Bruce & his band transports us to “PURE HAPPINESS!” They do this for us all! This performance personified what this band is all about, for me! Sheer joy, happiness & their special brand of uplifting 🎵 music/performances! No one like “Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band!!!”🎶

A Super...Super Bowl halftime show...the intro shot with Bruce and The Big Man is a classic. Just saw him in Denver a few days ago with my wife and stepson...he is still as good as he gets...along with the band members! You can never go wrong watching or listening to Bruce and the E Street Band! Thank you for this post and thank you Bruce and E Street Band members for one of best concerts of all time!

The thing anyone will tell you about a Bruce show is that you'll feel like you've been on a journey by the end of it. What's amazing about this is he's managed to take that sensation and condense it down to 12 minutes. I don't know how that's even possible, but these crazy cats did it.

There is no band anywhere like the extraordinary “BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E Street BAND!” Impossible to say how much I love them or how much the world loves them!!! No band or person puts on quite the “party”( 🎵 concert 🎶) that they do!!! Watching this again just literally lit up my day as it dies each time I watch them in any performance!!!! I would give anything to see them! Watching them & this concert is pure magic! (Seeing Clarence makes me so sad 😭 he has passed & miss him so much! His nephew Jake is fantastic but no one like Clarence!!!) What a show they put in here & the crowd adored them too!! Love the songs he chose to perform! How much fun watching this video with “ His multitalented wife & Little Stevie performing too... Max... all in this band form an intricate part of the “pie!” My favorite ever ...ever... EVER IS “GLORY DAYS!!” LOVE WATCHING BRUCE & STEVIE DO MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME!” Love seeing Patty & the these two incredible women rock the house to this incredible song too! The friendship & love between them all is what just touches yiur heart in places you didn’t know you had, until you watch this whole band interacting together!( My dream is to see this band someday & pray I am able too... fighting breast cancer but my dream for my husband who is 80 & I, just turned 71 to be there in person! I am at Dana Farber in Boston rt now... best hospital in the world ...undergoing radiation ☢️ & long haul ahead of me but my Drs have told me my “goals & outlook are of one yrs younger!” It will help me fight this “yucky disease & my third bout!” I told them I have to get better for I have never seen “BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E STREET BAND” in concert( following Bruce since the 70’s) but never blessed to see him in person. I live in western Massachusetts but had 3 little boys so money went to them & then unable to capture tickets ( sold out before I had a chance when he went to Boston & Mohegan Sun just recently but husband quit working at 78 suffering massive heart attack but praise God, he is doing well now & unfortunately it is me, ♋️ cancer back again but I will beat this! Told Drs my “goal”( dream) is to sit in front row with my husband watching Bruce, Patty & this extraordinary band to “rock out”...” GLORY DAYS STARTS PLAYING & Bruce points to me & pulls me up on stage to dance to this song!” How I actually “get up on that stage at 71 or that I could even afford a front row seat, or he would spit me/choose “me” in a sea of young, adorable girls 😂 is part I don’t take into account lol!🤣but best part of dreams “it keeps you moving forward & praying you get better, looking forward to tomorrow & “your one bright day in the ☀️ sun”, so to speak but keeps me setting my sights on “recovery & getting better”... my last wk of radiation & seeing this! Starting hormonal therapy nx but watching this video gives me hope & it just uplifts my soul!)
Watching his performance here & all his performances is such an uplifting experience! Thank-you to the incredible Utube for bringing performances like this to us all! Love Utube & am able to watch Bruce & E Street Band no matter where we are or go this particular wk at hospital in Boston @ Dana Farber, watching this before each treatment I undergo ever day for a month now! Puts me in great mood 😁before my radiation ☢️ treatments each day ha!) but as sick as I am, watching this video & all of his performances just makes “my heart smile & uplifts my soul!” Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band does that for everyone, no matter “where you are or live in life, this incredible band has the same effect on everyone! This reminds me of Queen at Live Aid a jukebox get plenty of hits in and give them 110% make it look spontaneous but have it rehearsed to the nth degree total professionalism in both cases resulting in the greatest live performances.
Anytime my day is not going well all I do is reach for my Xanax and that Xanax is this video. If you never seen Bruce Springsteen play live, all I can say was that it was YOUR loss! I'll NEVER forget the last concert at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. (The Dump That Jumps) Which ironically was the last one ever. Bruce's concert tore it down!
You put it perfectly! Bruce Springsteen is my Xanax ( as you put it!) too, ha! Going through serious health issues these past six months but “took my BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & E STREET BAND “ with me 😁no matter what I went through or where I have gone( third time illness has returned & looked to listening to this band to lift my spirits! Bruce Springsteen & E Street Band does that for everyone, sick or ill, happy or sad 🤣you listen to their music 🎼 & instantly Bruce & his band transports us to “PURE HAPPINESS!” They do this for us all! This performance personified what this band is all about, for me! Sheer joy, happiness & their special brand of uplifting 🎵 music/performances! No one like “Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band!!!”🎶
