YESSSS I love Penang!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS LIST So happy to see that the Farlim night market is still alive! Definitely heading there soon! You're the best! and LET"S GET THIS TO 200k VIEWSSS!!!
Megan really good! She is such a natural with food. Eating with gusto, makes me feel that food is soooooo good n that I must get myself a tix to penang.
Thank u Z & M. All d food stall u visit & try I ate since my primary school (Yr 80). Farlim pasar malam is my frequent visit place when I just got married 8 yrs ago. I'm a Penang boy now base in Singapore. Thank u both visit my hometown & I will share your channel to all my friends & relative in Penang.
PENANG FOOD!!!! BIG MISS hometown food and especially the Prawn Paste Chee Cheong Fun and good sambal chilli, Fried Shallots, and some good roasted peanuts from Tanjong Bunga ! Yumz!
Hey Zermatt! Just so you know, your videos reach as far as Southern California! Keep up all the fun content. Last time I was in Penang was 2007...man I miss the food!
I missed my mom's cooking 😢, if someone can cook a meal similar like her. I will definitely come over and order all the time. Glad you enjoy the foods in Penang. Keep it up, you can travel to Kedah or Perak where a lot of food paradise there.
Earlier i went for the Granny Q's laksa because of this video, and it was very good from someone who cant eat spicy food! I showed them this video and they were super happy and nice! Reccomeded!
Wow love how both of you can really eat and can't wait to go for my Penang trip this Friday! Everything in your video looks soooo good! Will definitely go try them. Super love how bubbly Megan is and the chemistry both of you share. Please have Megan more in your videos!
Penang hokkien char, KL hokkien mee and SG hokkien mee are all very different. The garlic vinegar sauce you had with the prawn mee is actually for lor mee. You should definitely try the lor and prawn mee mix soup. It's so good.
Finally after Ah Leng CKT, one of the most anticipated. Many wants to see Megan in pyjamas when this video clip hits 200,000,. I m sure when Megan wears pyjamas, the next clip will hit 500,000.Sponsors will be flooding in.
You can really tell how curious zermatt is when it comes to food especially when he's explaining about nasi kandar chicken then comes the papadum "why got this thing one" - grabs one hahaha.
Hello Zermatt oh! my gosh! penang food all look delicious! and the hotel that u stayed also amazing. thank u so much for sharing with us your wonderful experience there in penang.
Zermatt asked "I'm going to mix in the chilli, okay? " for the curry mee and Megan was 😤.. I nearly burst out my supper while watching it. So funny interaction between both of you! 😂🤣
So lucky leh you guys. The cendol queue is consider super short d. The Deen nasi kandar queue too. Normally you will see ppl queue to the next street LOL. Actually nasi kandar is quite salty, even the rice alone is salty. The laksa, local ppl call it Siam Laksa, i prefer this tho over the regular laksa. Garlic vinegar is for Lor Mee hahaha. People use to say Penang go anywhere also can find good food.
Wah bro, ni superstar liao weh. Fans everywhere. Food looks great but the funniest part was at the night Market eating the carrot cake n Megan couldn't wait to take the chopsticks from u while u were talking 🤣
Yoo this is so cool. Thank you for this video, going to Penang has always been on my list. If you don't mind what do you think is the right budget for a trip like this, so I know the range of what to save up 😅
of all the zermatt "bond" girls right, i think megan is one of the most fun personalities on the channel, followed by hailey. zermatt do Q&A leh then will ask u to rank who your favorite co-host is haha
If the taugeh is fat and short, most likely it is from Ipoh as it is using underground water (Ipoh is a valley surrounded by limestone hills that is like your natural water filter system and water stored underground).
Love to see both of you. Hope to see Megan more on your youtube. Will you be updating the places that you went on this youtube so that your viewers can go and find it out.
That box of stuff which u ate is not carrot cake but Char Koay Kak. In Pg, carrot cake is carrot cake, Char Koay Kak is Char Koay Kak. The carrot cake in Pg is called Chai Tao Koay (in Hokkien) & it's usually found in morning market but nowadays it's very rare liao. It's a pc of deep fried carrot cake & served with chilli sauce & yeah it's one of my favs 🙂
This vdo was so fun to watch and yr food reviews are spot on, describing the taste well. Hope you will try curry puff, peanut pancake, bbq skate, roti canai/murtabak, Hainan chicken and more! Penang is food capital of Malaysia!

This is how we pronounce as a pasang(klang) lang as well.

Agree!
If the taugeh is fat and short, most likely it is from Ipoh as it is using underground water (Ipoh is a valley surrounded by limestone hills that is like your natural water filter system and water stored underground).
The Penang chendol is probably quite good, but chendol with fresh durian is a thousand times better 🤤
Malaysia is the best country so adventure, green and healthy foods 👏👍. Singapore foods all is from Malaysia early morning delivery to us.
Nah you only can get either heathy or nice food but not both.

@Zermatt Neo spam msg??👆
On the saltish taste in the Chendol , it's a known practice to add salt to food to enhance the sweetness .
Yeah like what cubans do to mojitos n cocktail drinks
I actually prefer the Amoy chendol than the soupy one. You can try Kwong Wah chendol in KL, it's similar to Amoy
You can get this type of salty chendo in Geylang Serai 👍👍👍
Another food heaven episode for Zermatt
Bro, absolutely loved this video. Keep up the amazing work. 💪🏽🤌🏽
the garlic and vinegar was supposed to be added into Lor Mee , not prawn mee. Anyway, glad that you enjoyed Penang food.
