Perfect opportunity to cool the gasses and wet down the smoldering material with a Booster line on tank water before combustion could take off. Instead they play until they have a really big fire to get off on and climb on top of. With the editing, this took a lot longer to extinguish then it might appear.

How would you know anything about the editing? Were you there? Nah, you'd rather sit there and post dumb shit on youtube. This isn't the 1970's anymore, we don't use booster lines on commercial structure fires. The stupidity of that comment may have given me a stroke. You think it's smoldering just because there's smoke and no fire showing (until it flashed over anyways?) You seriously need to get a proper education.....

Those 18 wheeler fire trucks are worthless... They're too damn long and actually they're not even a fire truck, they don't even carry any water to even put out a fire......

The TILLERS are actually extremely valuable. Their size allows them to carry more tools, and they are articulated which makes them some of the most maneuverable fire apparatus on the streets. Their job is not to fight the fire directly, that is what the engines are for. But okay.

@@enginegoesphotography3794 Tank Water, Deck Guns and Hoses put fires out not ladders and tools. A ladder for this fire?

@@JB91710 You need to give it a rest grandpa. You make yourself look like a fool every single time you post. We shouldn't have to explain to you why they dispatched a ladder company on a commercial structure fire, especially after you claim to know so much about the "job" since you're such an "experienced firefighter." Do you even understand the objectives of the ladder/truck company? It's literally in the response matrix SOP/SOG (if you're smart enough to even know what that is.)

    • @justanotherguy1110

The Tiller is far from useless. They have absolutely exceptional maneuvering capabilities for tight streets, and getting around objects. Just because it doesn't carry water doesn't make it not a fire truck. There's way more to it than spraying water. The ladder/truck company's roles and responsibilities are forcible entry, search & rescue, ventilation, scene lighting, and they can also set the aerial ladder up for a elevated master stream to flow water from above.
