Yep. They renumbered Engine 216 to Engine 9 in honor of Jimmy Howe who served on Engine 9, since Engine 216 covers 9's old district.

I Believe My Brother in Law Battalion Chief Carl Flores was a Paramedic there, Years Back.

For some reason, in the LA City FD and the LA County FD, Fire Captain helmets are more of an orange color than truly red.
