As a previous Genesis owner, this guy didn't do the car any justice. I test drove the CTS-V Sport, 535 XDrive, Jaguar XF, Lexus GS350 and the Audi A6, before I leased my Genesis...none of them had the total package to the extent of the Genesis. Now, when you speak of bang for the buck, it's a no brainer, but I'm talking about if all of them were $55K. I would still get a Genesis. They cut a few corners on fit and finish...not nearly as many as BMW though. All in all, it is a great car and when you add the money factor in there, it is an amazing car.

I have this car for a year now. It is an incredible car. I love in NYC. No problem with the snow. I drive to Vermont at least once a month. No problem with the snow. My friend has a Subaru Forester and was sliding all over the place in the snow. Not me. No problem at all. I got it up to 150 MPH and backed off. This car is sick. I love it. Keep your BMW’s and your Mercedes.
I love sporty luxury sedans and I have seen that the new 2018 Acura Tlx A-spec looks really nice. It would be cool if you could do a review on that vehicle.
The Koreans luxury cars are now finally being marketed somewhat acceptable in the US dealerships. Whereas in Canada, marketing the K900, Cadenza, G80/G90 is almost unheard of. Multiple things play into factor but Hyundai has a better marketing than Kia. FYI, Since the Cadenza competes with the G80, I would hope Kia introduces a turbo trim to compete with this. Also, Cameron, compared to this G80 sport's AWD vs TLX SH-AWD, which would you say is better?
do you drive only highway or something? i use an app to track my mpg with cost and gallons with my odometer and i get 200 to 250 a tank. and 250 a tank is with a min of 70% highway
Really liking this car more and more. That 2 tone grey and black interior is lovely. Only thing i am not a fan of is the infotainment center. Just looks dated imo compared to the other luxury manufacturers. Its not bad but definitely not as nice. This is about the same price as an Audi a5 sportback. And the virtual cockpit is really nice in the audi. Also i hate the hyundai sales process. How they work in teams or something. Very little knowledge regarding genesis vehicles. If genesis wants to separate themselves from hyundai they better start selling these at actual genesis dealerships. The genesis process sounds great in theory. But not confident in that at all after being in different hyundai dealerships a few times. Which is a shame.
I wasn't 100-percent impressed with the Genesis G80. I like the overall appearance of the vehicle but it felt like a much well-appointed Kia Optima (EX, SX and SXL) with better features and is much bigger, as well. I do like the car, though.
the interior looks like the 2006 series BMW, not very impressed with the genesis if you drive it everyday the car becomes very boring lag of technology other problem is the alarm will go off for no risen the radio works on and off, i thing people purchasing this car are only paying for the warranty 10y i give it a 4.1/10
When you sit in a S class, you will know you are in something special for sure. when you sit in a hyunda genesis, eventually you will know you are in something that is trying be what it's not.( luxury vehicle)

VQ3713 correct, I am not rich at all , my family has many cars we stay close to one another( aunt, uncles, cousin). my grandmother just bout one of these. she use to have a Kia Sorrento fully loaded. we drove it for about two years. at first it felt high quality with until we started talking long trips in it. the leather started messing up, the panoramic sunroof started malfunctioning and making a loud rubbery noise when it closed and open. not good as advertised on gas mileage either. if your a speeder be careful,..... all I can tell you is that dann steering wheel will shake vigorously until you get into the next Lane. 2015 Hyundai Sonata.... tell me why this car loves to have water in its headlight and tail lights. stearring is not conected to the road, completely numb. the one thing that are doing great is getting cheap parts and make them look as good or look better then real quality stuff. whatever companys are using to trick use is working because I see many Hyundai / Kia's all over. but when you buy a car and drive it for a while, you will quickly start to notes if your car is turly high quality, even when some people want admit it. lmfao.....they will just go out and get a knew car (like a 2 year cell phone contract). oh.... look my new car righ here. this one has a special light in the dash that lets you know when you stop and take a shit on the side of the road, isn't that lovely...(Kia/ Hyundai/Genesis are not at the luxucary level yet) fake it till you make.)

It's pretty much highest trim a it has all the features of the ultimate trim package adds the adaptive suspension sportier seats with copper piping and interlaced. Aluminum pedals and upgraded brakes. The 3.8 NA by now also can be equipped with sport package but think doesn't include the active suspension. And drops some of the ultimate features for the cosmetics of the g80 sport
Why would Luc Donckerwolke copy other cars? This car looks European (probably because the car designer is European) but I don't think it looks like a Mercedes.
