@@XNBeatsMusic I recently bought a mk2, but I broke my shoulder 4 weeks ago and I can't use any device who needs 2 hands 😅 so, I'm watching the learning curve from down
Thanks for this! I just hated on the manual (again) yesterday. I miss the good old machinedrum days, where each machine was at least cursory described in the manual.
It’s nice to have a channel doing such a good content . I’m trying to figure out what is better for me. An Analog Rytm mkt 2 or the digitakt + the syntak. I need one or the other to create my own drum samples in the studio.. I work a lot with sound design and in the DAW I usually use synth and sample layers to make my own drum sounds. When I say digitakt + syntak it’s because I’m thinking about syncing the MIDI of the two devices and layering the synth (of syntak) with samples (of the digitakt). Example: in digitakt a clap sample and in the syntak a synth model clap. I’m trying to figure out which choice has more sound design power. In the Analog Rytm mkt 2 I can resample… but in the digitakt + syntak it looks like there is a bigger range of sounds for me to tweak and experiment with. What would be your suggestion? Thank you!
Superb just what i needed to see .... Would love to hear more one shots , i tend to find in your exemple that machine are really alike , but i need to put my hand on this to really know ....
Great vid. Although - am I the only one who's disappointed that there aren't more "clap" machines? I could do without some of the snares. Some of them sound good, but I'd really rather have a few different clap machines to choose from. Although I suppose with the filter/amp sections, I could sculpt the one clap machine in enough different ways to have some variation. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I found the snares to be the weakest link in the machine tbh. Well, at least when it comes to producing realistic snares or harder sounding snares. It does a very good job at air blast sounding and electronic snares though.
Man I have to hand it to you - still the best tutorial I have ever seen. Very in depth and detailed. Its very, very much appreciated.
Your attention to detail and patience is outstanding.
Thank you so much sir!
Thank you so much! I have been wanting someone to make exactly this video for a while! Thank you 🙏🏽
Oh shit! Well I guess I’ll be up all night watching this now.
Elektron should have a QR code linking straight to these playlists in their manuals.
Subscribed immediately. This and the syntakt overview demystified a great many things. Excellent video, thanks.
Thank you so much, this gave me so much input on how powerful the machine really is
Thank you for the comment and support :) !!
Merci !
Thank you again for your work

@@mathiasholzer7216 hahaha thanks man. I played with the MK1 for a little while. The octatrack is massive.....massive. It's going to be a lot of work.

Nice walkthrough. I’d forgotten quite a few of these machines.

Yeah, they should add more clap machines for sure.
