- if the engine overheats too much, simply open radiators and keep the prop
pitch below 90%, this will keep the engine cool
combat flaps break off at 600 kmph
convergence 400 meters with vertical on
max dive speed 790 kmph
P38 E Lightning - Speed and abuse - How to use air spawn correctly
At this tier because of the enormous power output which american planes have we can simply use speed to abuse the enemy, and specially use the air spawn as a weapon to locate enemy fighters earlier and bait the enemy low for your allies to kill, this is a great P38 E review for new players to learn from, as its a war thunder tutorial or guide

Green Fury I love the fact you hearted your own comment
Doc H. I think he just did that to bring it to the top.
I rather prefer a convergence set to 800 meters, it is more efficient
P-38 Is a type of a plane that i always hated flying and the reason is that did not help me of getting away
but that video helped anyways
Nice as always, thanks m8!
Outstanding, new sub. I'm just a old guy from northern Indiana trying to be a better pilot lol. Thank you.
A good tactic that worked a bit for me was boom and running with the p-38 towards my team, never pulled a single G, no fancy verticals.
I've really been enjoying your air rb videos. I haven't flown fighters in a while it feels and your videos help me to remember and learn the tips and tricks needed to attain exp and kills.
“How do bombers win games?” - this is why I prefer arcade, because on ground strike if someone isn’t running down and killing bombers your team is probably going to lose. In RB air superiority seems to be the only valid role one could play, where in AB you can dedicate yourself to bomber escort, bomber intercept, ground attack, base bombing, air superiority, or if you’re really good at reading a match switch your role based on the team’s needs at the time. For example, an opportunistic eye might see that red isn’t protecting high altitude airspace and you switch to a bomber and tip the balance to a victory.
You gotta get up high, and don't be dumb4ss, you can't always win
the only people who like arcade are absolutely god awful at the game
@@jmheasley4473 interesting. I find that it's a lot easier to dominate in realistic than it is to in arcade.
In AB DEFINITELY go for bombers, then attackers, this wins me almost every single game i play. OFC in ground strike and frontline only though.
nice video Fury !!! good work !!!
thanks mate
Back in the days : bombers are useless
Now : bombers are winners
That’s why i always go for bombers
I saw a bomber squad with BV238 they were 3 or 4 people and we won instantly they bombed the airfield so quickly.
Thanks for that info
You're a nice player, that's what I would do to tactically win a game, wish I could Play in squadron with u cause all my squadron did was 1v1 turn fighting
I love the way you talk
24 games 2 kills I’m bad. Many of the planes you shoot at I will miss.
As a briton and enjoy the history of the civil war and a u.s fan boy. Id like to say you have a sexy voice especially when using tactical termanology. If I had to guess, kentucky, tennasee? Sry for spelling and no hommo. Love your channel. :)
haha thanks mate
Van Sinn wow ok. He sounds southern us to me. I apologise for sounding stupid. Im not to familiar with a new zealand accent. Sincerly thank you for not being rude and correcting me. Wish fury had corrected me, but doesnt matter. Have a good day guys.
When rushing with an air spawn what angle should you climb at
A bit late but the answer is there is no angle. When flying props you don't climb at a certain angle, you climb at certain speeds. This varies based on the plane, for the P38E it's about 270 km/h. So you climb at the highest angle that lets you have a sustained climbing speed of 270 when you're heading into the battle.
@@Evilbob1555 I understand for normal climbs you should climb at a speed but when rushing in using an airspawn is there any given speed or angle
@@KR0NIC not really
Will this work for XP-38G?
most of it comes down to, the the meta at high tier allies unfortunately :( but in a squad, life so much better XD
Man sound like Papa Jake with dat fake accent
P-38 can Rope-a-Dope ?
ninjarnb yeah, but the P-38 performs a lot better at above 5000 meters. The Lightning’s cruising speed at about 6000 meters is amazing and it can cut a very tight circle at high speed. He’s getting away with the low altitude stuff because he’s very good. I’m not so great in comparison but I find a lot of success with the P-38 as long as my minimum operating altitude is 4000 meters; I’ll dive on people below that, but always try to return to 4000.
