What a beautiful video, in every way. I'm constantly amazed at Lenny's vocabulary and complete sentences. Darwin won't be far behind. All due to their amazing parents and broad range of experiences in their young lives.

Sitting here watching this and at the part with the boys climbing around the tub I found myself with a smile from ear to ear. Being a parent is mostly the same feeling for all parents but you two are giving your 2 boys a life so many will only dream about. It makes me smile and have a warm feeling to watch you guys share your life with somebody like me who is stuck at home with so much of life behind me. I feel blessed to be able to view your world for even a short time. Thank you so much

Hi! Beautiful video! As a student meteorology, let me explain why it is hazy over there😊it’s because in tropical areas the air is warm and can hold more moist. If the moist air comes in contact with the cooler ocean surface air, the water vapor condenses and creates fog. During daytime, the ocean surface warms up and the gradient between the cool surface and the warm air becomes less. This makes the fog eventually disappear! However, it is indeed the case that this happens more often in areas that are polluted, as the water vapour needs the pollution particles(cloud condensation nuclei) to form fog droplets .. Cheers from The Netherlands!

Thank you. Yes. Hong Kong has days of this haze too. Much particulate pollution there.
Some dimwit commented that it was "chemtrail spraying"

This marine layer is common here in southern California where we have the cool air from the Pacific meeting the warm air from the inland desert, creating a fog about a mile in each direction from the coast. It most often happens as the weather warms from spring to summer and we refer to it as May gray and June gloom.

We were in Vietnam in 2014 for a month. We did the same water tour as you did. We were on a boat that looked very much like Legend 4. Loved our time there. ( I was there in 1968-1969 as a young soldier during the war). I went back for a healing trip and it was very humbling for me and wonderful to talk to the people and hear what they have accomplished since the end of the war. I wish I had not had to do, what I was sent there to do. Vietnam will always have a place in my heart. It is an absolutely fantastic place with very friendly people. Thank you for the refresher and the beautiful video.

One of my favorite episodes lately, I like the slower pace that being passengers allowed you. Doesn't hurt that it is one of the most beautiful and serene places in the whole world.

Living 5 years in Saigon with boys now 27/30 doing primary school there ~ remember our unique holiday to Ha Long Bay and Sapa being one of my all time favorites however our boys were older than D L and we hiked the mountain (Mt Frangipan) and the hemp fields travelling up on The Victoria over night Train ~ thank you for the memories reminder 😊

I’m 3 minutes into the episode and just am amused at Riley and his fixation of how much everything weighs on the boat. Grabs the beautiful wooden door “I wonder how much that weighs”
It is inspiring to see Riley becoming so passionate about what truly makes the perfect boat.
I look forward to every episode and I am loving the rapido episodes🤍

I really enjoyed this video. It's so peaceful. Your children are a joy to watch. I travelled to Vietnam while living in Thailand several years ago. I loved my trip there, including to Ha Long Bay. A magical place. We travelled from the south of Vietnam to the north in December. It was hot a muggy in the south and very chilly up north. What a beautiful country.

This is very relaxing especially the scenery.Watching it made me sleepy. The village on the water, the history when it began for ancient peoples was interesting. The rooms are beautiful and my favorite is the wall graphic of the flowers on the wall and the woodwork pulls it all together with the white contrasts. It all a surprise to see and experience.

I would say the haze is from a high humidity stable environment. Probably a cooler (than the air) ocean surface causing an inversion trapping the ocean moisture at the surface. Versus an unstable convection promoting environment. With that moisture being trapped, all pollution would also be trapped under the synoptic high pressure thus providing a multitude of cloud condensation nuclei for haze formation. Out in the bay may not be close to any large pollution sources, but any factory or large cargo ship that produces pollution in that air mass contributes to the whole. In synoptic situations like this, the vast majority of the air is unable to leave until a new frontal system or other change happens to move a new airmass into the area. I based all this on just what I could see in the video, and my time as a US Navy forecaster and observer. Hope it helps!
