I'm glad you mentioned the font size of the books it's extremely useful to know. Lots of paperbacks have font that's too small to read comfortably. I'm going to pick up the 20th anniversary edition it looks really nice.
I'm glad it was helpful. That's true, it becomes really tough to read with small fonts. Amazing, I'll be looking forward to get 20th anniversary book 2 & 3.
Lol I agree I have like three different versions of the game of thrones books because they came out with prettier ones that I have to get 😆 like I just got the smaller leather versions of it lol.
Thank you for showing the pages on the different editions. It helped me decide which version to get. I bought the used paperback editions due to font size and budget constraints. The first and fifth books on hardcover were tempting due to their low price, but it's inconvenient to carry a heavy book.
@@kongdoo1226 I bought the used paperback he mentioned on 04:45 . I wanted the new 7 book paperback edition, but budget constraints mean I have to settle for used (second hand) copies.
@@CardCrusher29 i also have the paperbacks and their so easy to carry around especially when you were traveling! I too also have budget constraints.. and sometimes if i was lucky enough to get a 2nd hand in near new conditions that too is a steal!..
@@kongdoo1226 I agree with the paperback with its pricepoint and portability. Mass market ones are a different story. I've never bought books from Ebay, but I'm hoping that their conditions match what the sellers claimed.
The problem with that specific hardcover edition is that it's the 20th anniversary illustrated edition meaning A Feast for Crows should be the next one that'll get released in 2025 and after that A Dance With Dragons should release in 2031. I think that those editions are probably the coolest looking editions I've seen, but the fact that they seem to be adamant about releasing those on the 20th anniversary of the original book's release is really a shame. If Winds of Winter were to release tomorrow I'd have to wait until 2042 to get that edition into my collection and I don't think I'll want to wait that long. Not to even mention the wait for A Dream of Spring. I'll probably end up getting the red leather bound slipcase editions.
Price hardly drops, I think if you're into such editions or into GoT, then go for it. I'm eager to get book 2 and book 3, price for them hardly drops below 1k as well.
Bro if you make similar video next time, keep the book on a table maybe. You're moving it a lot in your hands which is very distracting. Good analysis btw
Bro I have seen multiple videos from your channel and in the end I love them all but I just had this one little thing to ask that if the hardback for the 4th vol is out yet or not, I wanted to get my hands on it but can't find it anywhere so can you please tell me if it's actually released or not?😅😅
If you're fine with slow high fantasy then definitely go for it. I'm not a big fan of it's pace or even book one. But still Jordan's magic system again is unique and amazing. One fantasy fan should always consider more and more such books. I have read first four books and now looking forward to the rest. 😄
Not a big fan of last season. It actually destroyed the show, they could have easily stretched it for 2 to 3 more seasons with that much of content. Hopefully books will provide us with better ending🤞 how about you, did you like last season?
I keep hearing that the 20th edition is very expensive everywhere, but here in Denmark(on danish websites and from one of the biggest bookstores in Denmark) I can get it for around 230-450 DKK(around 30-70 USD). Is that a scam??? The 450DKK one is from a very popular and trustworthy bookstore(bog&ide) here in Denmark, not at all likely to sell fake books. But it has been getting me worried that they’re not the same books although they look exactly like the one in your video!(from their pics online)
I know that some European publishers would split a book in 2 or more parts and sell them separately. Consequentially the price drops since you are only buying half of the book. Granted they don’t do it very often nowadays, but still it might be what you are dealing with here. So if you see Martin’s work being sold for too cheap of a price, just double check if it is a complete edition and not a divided version.
Hey dude but if you google it and then go to amazon site it is not costly, in good or like new conditions, 2 book is just 200 and 3 is of only 300 and fourth also of only 200

The regular larger paperback is better because the text size is bigger, making it easier to read. Plus the smaller book gets ruined easier.
Loved this compariso video! Though I hate it when I have a book and an another edition comes into market which is gorgeous than what I have.🙈
Thank you😊 haha, same. I don't like when a new edition comes with maybe new illustrations or cover, and I already purchased an old one. 😂

You forget "the folio society edition" if they sell it in your country you should defenitly buy these if you can afford it.
Where to buy game of thrones hardcover books?
i will always love my little mass market paperbacks. i just feel their smallness gives them so much personality. also they feel nice in my hands
The illustrated edition is now of 1200 bucks. Should I buy or wait for Amazon sale? Does the price drop further?

You need to talk slower so people can understand
It’s pretty easy to understand him, He did a great job in my opinion!
there’s CC option and option to slow the speed of the video which may help you hear him clearly
You speed talk it’s very hard to follow what you say
Awesome vid!
Thanks 😊

what are your views on season 8 ending of GOT???

Where did you get the faithful and the fallen series in paperback?
I got it from amazon last year in June, from a prime seller named book cob.

Is illustrated editions contains any nudity in photos
No but the graphic novel does
what does "mass market paperback" means? does it means used books?
Pretty sure it just mean the publishers make as many books as compact and fairly low quality as they possibly can to get as many sales out they can.
It's in the name really,* Mass market* as In Most Easily accessible and Cheap version for the Broke folk which is nice
Are you 3 years old?
What does it mean by illustrated edition?
illustration edition me realistic colorful image/pictures hoti hai
hardcover and paperback me black and white picture hoti hai
Love your accent :)
Lovely!
