I really feel for you, I was diagnosed with cancer in my throat in 2019, I live in France and had to have 42 doses of radiotherapy starting on Christmas Eve. I also had chemotherapy and I took part in some trials for immunotherapy over an 18 month period. Finally I had a full laryngectomy so my voice box was surgically removed together with alterations to my throat so I now breath through my neck. This is not to get your sympathy but to encourage you to stay strong. I have been clear of cancer for over two years now and I am currently on the second of my 5 week travels in my camper. This time I left Brittany with my dog and we have been all the way up the east coast of England, into Scotland and now on my way back down the west coast. At Christmas I went to Spain in the van and drove down to La Manga and back to Brittany. You will get over this bloody cancer and you will travel again, if I can at 72 you can.❤❤❤❤❤❤

The NHS is marvelous its just a pity there seams to be too many managers etc and general waste of money including the botched computer system and billion pound covid PPE scandal,if the money was spent well the NHS would be the best in the world again 😡
Actually there are fewer managers in the nhs than in similar sized organisations. The problem is underfunding and a corrupt government giving lucrative contracts to their mates.
Good Luck Mandy, don't worry so much this is just another step to recovery. better to be asleep whilst this happens. just dream of nicer places to visit once you back on the road. ❤
Bugger! as they say here. Understandable, but so frustrating, Hope you get a new date ASAP so you can finally get through to the end of this phase and get on with your lives. Take it easy, I've heard the fatigue can vary day to day after radiation therapy for a while.
If they watch this video I bet whoever broke that door will keep out of your way when you go in for your treatment 😊😊 I can understand your emotions about this, you just want to get the treatment over and done with, without interruption’s like this. I know it was a pain the cancellation Mandy but in a way it might have been a blessing in disguise as you weren't feeling 100% because of the bug you picked up. I'm sure these things are better coped with when you're feeling up to it. Take things easy now and fingers crossed you'll be feeling better and be able to get this last leg of the journey in the bag. That’s awful news for you, it happened to my wife before her hernia op, cancelled after 6 hrs in the waiting room ! ( after three years with bowel cancer) We were very angry too, quite rightly so , that so are you. I do hope it’s sorted very quickly 💛 She has had the op now and recovering !

Ahh, man!!!, what a bummer. You'd got it all in your mind, your final date and boom, the goalposts changed. Mandy, you've still got to give yourself some time as this is one of the most stressful times of your life. It's OK to say "Fuc# it, and have a meltdown. Remember you are number one priority right now. It won't be long now and only John will be playing with your lady parts, very much not under general anesthetic. 😘
Sounds like a tough few days and keep taking that water. Apparently, it's a good thing for low blood pressure. You probably can't see it now but but hopefully very soon this will all be a distant memory and you'll be amazed at how well you did.
