- We've had a bank holiday weekend.......so I packed my bag and went on a mini holiday........then, back at home, it was time to get stuck into more jobs and an update for the next couple of weeks.

A break from social media is always a good idea now and again. Sometimes the brain just needs a rest from it all. 😊 I don’t have a channel but I still take a break from it occasionally and I always feel better afterwards. Will look forward to when your videos resume, hope you manage to achieve everything you want to during your well deserved break. X

I got on the wrong train at Manchester airport once - I thought it was taking me back to Scarborough - luckily I realised as soon as it set off so got off at the next stop - the staff were brilliant and put me on the correct one which got me home at the same time I would have been anyway 🚂🚂🚂 hope you get your own little garden eventually 🌿🌿🌿

Oh, surprise!!! I never heard anyone say they struggle to grow radishes. I do!! I can grow most things but not what is considered 'starter' crops...lol
I have a Gertrude Jekyll climbing rose in my garden. It is smothered in blooms and the old fashioned scent is wonderful. So glad you have had a break. X

Side note, I don’t know what the old tewwwwb is playing at with how much (little) it is paying but I’m so glad mine is for fun and not to rely on as boy things are down right now. I’m so pleased for you that you had a much needed getaway ! Change of scene is always beneficial . Lol -I too love train stations and trains. I rely heavily on my train transport. Ha ha ! Interesting ! I notice the yellow line between the train and the platform ( I’m so observant ) must be a universal thing . We have that line also …what a lovely home Richard and Paul have , including their veg garden . I have enjoyed this . Thanks for sharing your outing . Best part was seeing you happily enjoying yourself. And relaxed !

Enjoy your time away! I enjoy your videos, espcially with all the other stuff going on in the world, it's nice to come here and just listen to someone with a positive attitude about life. My kids and I rode the Elizabeth line when we were in London a couple years ago. I can't remember where we went to, though. I wish we had more trains in the U.S., especially now that I'm getting older.

The Elizabeth line is sooo useful moving across London. I regulary get the coach from Nottingham to Marble Arch, walk to Bond St Elizabeth line to Hayes. faster and more direct than other routes. The lifts and good access features are great, unlike much of the underground. Travel off peak, it's cheaper too. Glad you had a refreshing break with supportive friends. Take care!

I had my hip injected on Friday..... so today I managed a whole 3 hours weeding the flower beds... Haven't really been able to get into the garden much for months so It was great... to be able to get up off the floor...🤣

Vivi, I'm glad you managed to squeeze a few hours of a break with your dear friends. It really makes a difference. I too haven't been away at all for so long I shudder to think of it. I know exactly what you mean about needing to get away and think and deal with your 'to do' list. I am in the very same place right now. I'm forced into dealing with some of my 'projects' now in a much expedited fashion due to a water leaking issue. It's been hectic here because at the same time I've got major other things to deal with but all is well. I'm feeling good about what has been dealt with so far. I wish you well in dealing with your 'to do' list and hope when you get back you will have a 'load off' your mind.
Goodness, wishing you all the best with your jobs too. I hope the leak can be sorted quickly and without too much faff!

No videos-can’t go on . . . just kidding. Looked like refreshing break with R&P. Good upcoming plan to decompress and catch-up on jobs. Last year, when I took a week off from work to do just that, my coworkers were puzzled over the fact that I was taking vacation days to stay at home and check off a task list. But when we have too many plates spinning and need to protect our mental health…that’s just the remedy. See you soon!
