That's a campsite that is on my calendar for next year. I love the air shows but they are so busy so to be able to park the van up and sit outside (with all the home comforts and catering on site) and all for the price of a normal campsite!

I hope you’re feeling better soon Mandy and out of hospital. When we went to the last Lakenheath air show, we stopped to give 4 guys in overalls a lift. It turned out they were two RAF tornado crews that had been stuck in traffic and decided to walk. We got a tour around a tornado as a thank you. It made my year 😁

Well, that was exciting - with lots of pilots showing off. The Lakeside View field looked fantastic. Would definitely go there if/when we go up to the air show again. Reminds me of staying at the campsite during the Silverstone Grand Prix one year (we couldn’t afford tickets for the whole weekend). All the planes used it as a turning area, and we had a better view than anyone. John - thank you for the B Roll and editing. Hope Mandy is still stable at least, or hopefully improving. 💜

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the air show, really brought memories back of being with my dad at Woodford and RAF Coningsby air shows, loved it. So sorry to hear about your friend, every time I have left a place I never go back, it’s life as you are very well aware of. I am devastated to hear you have Sepsis I did think on your last video. People should be made so much more aware of sepsis as it kills silently. It still amazes me how my husband nearly died simply because the hospitals don’t seem to diagnose it quickly enough. You are in the best place and you will make a good recovery petal. Stay strong and I am thinking about you.
I’ve never been to an Air Show The view from Lakeview was superb Amazing skills on display I have mobility issues Once you can’t walk easily your life changes and you have to try to find a solution. I don’t think event organisers do enough for those with challenging health issues. Chairs used to be a given now it’s a let them bring their own attitude. Those in need of a chair can’t carry one!
This was a lovely video with the air show. I like to see and hear those planes as they go by. I am sorry for the loss of your work friend. That is not an easy thing and unexpected I guess. I watched John’s video and I am sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. I pray that they are getting things sorted out for you and are making it better. We want our Mandy back and feeling good. Sending blessings and healing to you and John. I know it is difficult for him also.
Don’t feel survivor guilt x you have encouraged ladies to get checked x your wise words will have saved loads of people x you deserve to live for the pleasure you bring to your followers x ur a total genuine lovely loving person x you and the big fella only deserve good x shame it’s poo at the moment xx keep smiling xx

Wow, loved your Lakeside park up. As a little bit of an air nut I’m very envious. An early demo of the Eurofighter in full afterburn sorted my left eardrum at Farnborough back in the 80s so don’t think I could do the full experience any more😢 Glad to see you looking so fit and lively Mandy, (and keeping John in check !!)
