I like how emperor bulblax is such a huge threat in the first game but in the second he just dies as fast a normal bulborb

Pikmin 2 had the best bosses. Hands down. Each fight was somewhat unique and was pretty difficult to learn / master.
I would toss my entire legion onto the ledge to avoid the larvae onslaught, make your way around to the front of the empress and toss onto her head, call Pikmin back before she roll

The Titan Dweevil is my favorite boss fight in any game. That freakin thing took me so many tries to beat. It was so satisfying once I finally did.

Its probably because a quick fact about the game's spaceship: it hates spiders.
I think it’s mainly because they fit with the cave setting and they are normally scary to most people and giant ones are just fucking horrifying

Huge improvement compared to the pikmin 1 boss rush, the end of the pileated snagret was a huge treat as well.
Thank you so much for this video! It helped me alot, i found my old gamecube with the games in my parents house and i never beat this game before as a kid. Now 15 years later i beated the last boss today and the revenge on this game is big.

For the first boss, I just spammed Purple Pikmin and it died in less than a minute.
This is how much the Purple Pikmin break the game, and this was my first playthrough.
The burrowing snagret is seriously my favorite boss from the pikmin franchise.

And how ants can carry things weighing as much as 50 times their own weight.
Here’s a tip for the empress bulblax battle: whistle your pikmin when she starts shaking to one side, whistle your pikmin off quickly and she’ll wait longer to start using her roll attack and you can do way more damage to her.

I remember the first time Beady Long Legs dropped in on me. I was 7 and it was my first visit to the Perplexing Pool. There's actually a random encounter with it on a certain spot on the surface, and I unknowingly tripped it. When that thing rocketed down right above me, well...let's just say I immediately ran back to the ship and ended the day early, took off, and didn't come back for a while.

Tips on beating the pileated snagret no deaths:
Make every pikmin except yellows hide in one of the passages before triggering the boss
Attack the face! Not the foot!
The Man-at-Legs boss looked like the Pikmin were at war. :D

For me, the hardest bosses are Burrowing Snagret, Empress Bulblax II, Man-at-Legs and Titan Dweevil. Those always give me trouble, but at the same time I love fighting them because of the adrenaline!
Man-at-legs is quite possibly the coolest pikmin enemy in terms of design. It's a giant cyborg 4-legged spider with a machine gun that shoots explosives.

I cringed when you fought the Water-wraith. It started out so fine! You directly destroyed its rollers, AND THEN YOU FAILED TO PROPERLY THROW A PURPLE PIKMIN FOR 1 MIN STRAIGHT.

Bruh, I just had an idea... Empress rolls around and crashes into walls, so what if when she did that boulders fell on you similar to the segmented crawbster?
Titan was a pain until I remembered yellows jumped so high, prior I was using my Reds since they were my expendables due to a higher population. The Insta kill electric was the worst when it hit a crowd.

pikmin 2 had the best bosses imo ^^ I mean i loved the ones in pikmin 3 too but there wasn't a lot of variety compared to this one ya know :/? only 6 bosses, and this thing had like 20!
Forgive me for sounding harsh, but I always chuckled at the Poison animation. They look like they're reverse worming and it looks funny.
I like how I've lost more Pikmin to the Snagrets than I have to the Man At Legs, Waterwraith and Segmented Crawbster

The fact that so many bosses were taken away because they live in caves, beady long legs just got snapped, burrowing snagret is now a mini boss, and we get 6 new bosses who didn’t exist in the first two games. Pikmin 2 is better, but Pikmin 3 is good. I just feel like the port for Pikmin 2 would have sold WAYYYY more than portmin 3 (get it)

It was always pretty cool how the music adjusted to what the bosses were doing, but sometimes it got annoying just listening to "DA DA, DA DA, DA, DA DADA!" over and over and over and over because the boss kept doing a specific thing

Also IMO the segmented crawbster is one of the more difficult bosses, you have a small window of time to hit and half of that time is spending time dodging attacks, while the other half is attempting to damage it; it’s hard to find the sweet spot IMO
i play so much pikmin, and am so good at it, when i saw you didnt have 100 at the bottom of each and every one of the caves i was triggered
