I think it’s clear that Will has hardcoded this message onto each of the thousands and thousands of available songs, spanning the several hundreds of CD’s that he had to reburn...just for that specific moment. And that’s probably still not even the most ridiculous thing he had to do to pull off his ridiculous plan from that ridiculous movie.

Yeah, on my recent rewatch I was really struck by how Helen is the best character and I think that's all on Sarah Michelle Gellar. I think I Know What You Did Last Summer is the best of the post Scream slashers BUT that's as much to do with the mediocrity of some of the others rather than its own quality.

If you look on Google, the years are different.
The prolouge of the first movie is set in July 1996.
The rest of the movie happened in July 1997.
The ending dream sequence of the first movie and all of the second movie took place in July 1998.

I'll admit, that sitting in the movie theater I didn't figure out the Will Benson thing until he is revealed.
Neither did I, but I watched it on dvd. But I did pick up on the radio contest right away as I knew the capital of Brazil was not Rio de Janeiro.
Watching this on the day before thanksgiving 2020 during the pandemic.
I actually read the book this movie was based off of.
Major differences in the book are that Berry was the one driving (yes he was drunk), the person they ran over was a kid on a bike, they kept driving instead of stopping to hide the body, and outside of the person who got hit, no body died.
Also there was this twist with the stalker that could only work in a book, otherwise they'd have to avoid showing a certain character to make it work.
Honestly a more fateful adaptation might feel closer to something from the Lifetime channel, but I feel the stalker's motivation is much stronger in the book.

I keep forgetting this is a 4th of July movie. I did know there was a 3rd movie, found it on Netflix years ago. Also, in the 1st movie, is Ben Willis the bad guy? We find out that he killed David Egan because a year prior, this 28 year old man was driving drunk with Ben's 19 year old daughter which caused her death. He still murdered David, but its understandable why. Then four random kids run him over and then try to drown him. He still murdered them, but besides Buffy & Sonya, its understandable.
i think that’s why they had him kill the Big Bang guy, because it makes it clear that he’s actually the villain.
Movie Timelines only if you didn’t watch all of Big Bang Series, then you are still rooting for him

I like how you said, "and Leonard is here,too". Also Ben Willis/The killer killed him, cause" Leonard " threatened to call the cops on Barry's "college quarterback ass!" And the killer didn't want them involved.

Saw the first one at the cinema and liked it. Rented the second one on video, because it didn't look good enough to go and see (and yet was hilarious). To this day have never seen the third one, despite being vaguely aware of it. I think I did the right things in the right order.

I think the wolverine look fits you. In regards to the movies. Yeah I only saw the first one, and saw just pieces of the second one. But I love the fact you point out all the stupidity in that movie. I didn’t even bother with number 3 and in seeing this timeline I’m so glad I skipped it.

I'm one of the few, if not the only one, that truly likes the third one. Part 2 is laughable and the twist of the son should have been more obvious.
Very sad to admit that I didn’t even think about Ben being the son but found him sus a few times so for me when Ben was explaining his name, it was honestly the best part for me

The thing that really irritates me in the second one is when Julie shoots Ben Willis. A gun that is clearly a six shooter and she fires it eight or nine times.
When the first movie came out, my friends and I really enjoyed it. The same when the second movie came out. I guess we were just part of the target audience, not looking for anything special apart from a hook killer. I've learnt about the third movie many years after it was made and I think it's really bad and the zombie stuff makes no sense. I would not rewatch any of these movies today ^^

Hot damn the third one is SO bad
You made me realize something, IKWYDLS is pure BS like there is no Susie cast in the movie since David is dirk digglers replacement from boogie nights. But no Susie Willis lol Ben Willis killed David minutes before getting run over 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 im guessing the whole thing about the title has to do with his murder over the getting run over by the "teens" , and I know I must be crazy but its like he killed David almost got caught by the teens since he got crashed right after. The movie should be i know that you know what I did last summer tell me no.
Also the fact that you can’t contain your laughter with these movies definitely confirms how stupid they were. It really cracks me up.
Am I the only person that Loved the first two movies? The last one was trash AF but the first two i watch whenever I see them on same with scream(even though the best ones is the 1st & 4th imo)
These movies were more enjoyable during their time and when I was a kid, but they definitely have aged terribly and are kind of hard to watch now and take seriously apart from the nostalgia. I remember watching the first film during the spring break of 1998 and then seeing the second film in theaters which is a funny notion considering how ridiculously bad and cheesy the sequel is. The third film was unmemorable and I totally forgot it existed until this video.
I laughed hard at the zombie reveal.
Side note. The first movie is based on a book of the same name. Had to read it in school and it was trash. They killed the guy on the road at the beginning and that's basically it.
Are these movies good? No. Does the story make sense? No. Is the acting good? No. Do I love these movies anyway? Hell yes!!!! I don't know what it is but the first two movies are so fun and watchable for me. I agree that Sarah should have been the star. Honestly, she is the only decent actor in the cast. I love Buffy and her performance on that show is seriously fantastic and underrated. But, all in all, I just love the first two movies. I will be watching them this weekend.

funny enough, i shot this about 2 weeks ago, and the beard is mostly gone.
Yeah, these movies are unfortunate products of my generation, that haven't aged well, lol. I haven't seen the 3rd one, & have no plans to watch it.
