Thank you for doing this. You are so beautiful, your pictures post up look great. Hang in there sometimes progress is two step forward 1/2 back, it’s normal. You got this. Wishing you the best;
Hope, sharing your recovery story is pretty awesome. It's such a personal thing, yet you may help someone else with all of your positivity. Such a shining light. And love your pigtails! 💕
Hope these videos are great as updates for those of us following along on your journey but they will also be extremely helpful to those who will be going thru surgery... the zingers or zaps as I call them (nerve pain / nerve reawakening) after my knee surgery was very scary for me ... no one had mentioned anything about it to me but when I called the doctor they knew exactly what it was and I felt so much more at ease that it was a normal reaction/ event. It would have been much better had I known it may happen. I am a preparer / planner and the more knowledgeable I am about things the more comfortable I feel so these videos (even though a completely different surgery) would have been great and helpful. Continued prayers and hugs from Ohio. 😊
Zingers! That's a great way to describe it, I'm totally using that from now on, haha! I'm hopeful that these videos will help someone else on this journey in the future, and thank you so much for the encouragement, it means a lot!
I find these videos so interesting! I’m so interested in the medical field and how the body works. So glad your doing well! They say the younger you are the faster you can bounce back from surgeries!
@@TheDisneySisters I’m sure it will! I am sure you’ll be glad you did these videos so you can look back on them as a video diary of your experiences. God is an amazing healer and I’m sure your positive attitude has also helped your healing process 💗 you’re so strong! Looking forward to hear more of your journey! You also have an amazing sister!
I have been back to Disney Springs and enjoyed it, and I'm working on building to where I can go to the Festival of the Holidays! :D Thank you for the support! (p.s. we got your letters, and we will do our best to respond soon!)
Hi, Hope! You look great, and it’s so nice to see you up a few weeks after your surgery!! (I know this video is “old,” but I think you know what i mean. LOL). I don’t know if you remember the kind of surgery I had, but I wanted to let you know that the scarring on your head will eventually lighten and go away. I thought my scar wasn’t going to go fade, but five years later, it’s gone. Hugs to you and Abby! Hearing her off screen while you’re filming reminds me of the close relationship I have with my younger sister. Take care, you two!
Thank you so much for all your kind words!! It's so nice to hear from someone who's a few years down the road that the scar will lighten with time! I was definitely rusty my first video back, but I'm so glad Abby could be there to help me! :D
God bless you Hope. The pics of bruised hands/wrists from IV's causes me to have sympathetic pains in my own hands. I hated the IV in the hand - which they love to do for any surgery or for having a baby. Why the hand? It's so painful there. And the bruises I had lasted weeks.
Thanks for the update. I have RLS on a regular basis (not related to any brain surgery), and it is very frustrating. It particularly occurs at night or when I am going to be in a confined space like an airplane. I pray that yours is temporary.
OMG 😳 why did you get a surgery? I know how it feels because I’ve had a heart attack in August at the age of only 44 🙈 sometimes you feel awful and sometimes so good that you forget that you should do things slowly and not overdo anything ❤️ recovery ❤️🩹 is do important 🙌 patience sometimes hard to find but we want to live many years to come 🙏
Oh, I hope you're recovering well! I'm so sorry you had to go through that! I went into detail about the why behind my surgery in this video: ua-cam.com/video/cU0YU9SCCLI/v-deo.html And I have a whole playlist if you care to learn more about what I've been dealing with! ua-cam.com/play/PLZRd9fwXuQUVVUQGAJgMJ2JSbBs7pfFtO.html

Oh, that's awful! IVs are no fun in general, and the bruises just seemed to get darker and darker, but thankfully they're mostly gone now!
Feel better hun. Health is important
