    I just found you, even though this is a year-old video more or less. I have to tell you how much I appreciate your ways of explaining and demonstrating. I used to teach and tutor and your style are as similar to mine as I can imagine. Thank you!!

      I love teaching but it is a bit harder on video since you aren’t interacting with the other person.🙂

    this is the first time I’ve actually watched a tutorial all the way through the first time around. you have a wonderful organized presentation style and are so easy to listen to. i’m definitely going to be compiling a file like this. i’m lucky since over a year ago i purchased some colored/patterned file folders that i am going to use for mine. thank you so much!❤️

    I made this years ago as a mini album but prefer your take on it as an ephemera booklet. Thanks for sharing it as an ephemera folder booklet.

    This is genius. And you are a great explainer. Thanks for sharing. I have a bunch of reclaimed file folders from my old job, so I'll have to see if I have ones with the staggered tabs.

    3:19 "don't trash any of it". Hasn't happened in my house sent I went down this journaling/paper craft rabbit hole. Now buried under scraps. Send help. Watched 30 videos on using scraps, and just made more. P.S. don't send help, having too much fun. Love this ephemera holder, thank you.

    You only need middle tabbed and other file folders. Top tab or bottom tab depends on if it has been turned inside out or not. 😁 Sometimes the box of 100 only have middle and 1 other options.

    • @Makincraftsstudio
      @Makincraftsstudio  Рік тому +1

      The stainless bone folder is from Tandy Leather it is a Craft tool Pro Folder and Creaser. My husband and I have a leather shop on Etsy and so we use them for leather, I decided to order one for paper crafting as well. 🙂

    Where do you get file folders with different tab placement ?

    • @Makincraftsstudio
      @Makincraftsstudio  4 місяці тому

      If you are in the US you can find them in office supply stores or on Amazon.

    You took the ink pad off the handle & you are using Velcro adhesive loops to "try" & add ink.
    Watchers, don't learn that oops!!!

    • @Makincraftsstudio
      @Makincraftsstudio  4 місяці тому

      I use flat sponges on these versus the dome kind. When I change it out it is rather quick but I switch to one of the flat foam sponges that already had brown ink on it. In some videos I have also used a flat felt piece that goes on this tool as well. When I ordered those I thought I was ordering the foam ones but felt ones came instead. I have tried to use those with ink they work but not as well. I think they were intended for alcohol ink. Just didn’t want those to be wasted.🙂 I’m not sure if I use those any where in this video though.
