Oh i thought your were talking qbout Holy Bibles! Lol Bagels! We probounce them Bay-gul. The A is the long vowel sound, emphasis on the first syllable. 😂 I love bagels!! That sounds lively, with the cream cheese, smoked salmon, and capers. Also basil on too, delish! A bakery near me used to make them with sun dried tomatoes and basil, and they were amazing.
"Which do you say, bagel or beigel? For the uninitiated, who have probably already given up, these variations are pronounced “baygel” and “bye-gal”. The former is considered more “westernised”, the latter more faithful to how it might have been said in Yiddish, though with a slight cockney twinge."
I have only come into this as of late, but am so glad to have found you. My thoughts on the tiny labels would be to make a small see through envelope to secure them and glue the envelope down instead of a shallow pocket.
Thank goodness for "Bay-guls" no matter how you say it. I love my American Jewish style bagels but my Canada cousin says they make the best bagels in Montreal! Just found your channel. Nice channel!🎉
Thanks so much 😀🌺🦋 we had the most delicious ones the other day. Bacon, egg, cheese and chutney! He has definitely gotten us hooked lol. Glad you like my channel. More videos coming very soon 😊
Thankyou for your lovely comment :) I am really busy with work atm but in the process of filming and creating when I can. New videos will be up soon :) My craft room is a bit of a bomb atm! 😀🙄🦋
I have so many die cutters and stamps..i wasnt looking for anything but u tube keeps sending me organization things!! You are fantastic. I found your videos by chance, while looking for videos about covering tin boxes, and I am hooked!!! I want to make wonky journals and pocketbooks and books like yours! you lit a fire, definitely :) Thank you.
Hello! I’ve been looking for a tutorial for this exact booklet! Job well done. I am a sewer/seamstress but things change, so I’m trying my hand at junk journals… love them! I was getting frustrated how to store and organize “everything!” This is perfect! Thank you for sharing.🥰. p.s. in the STATES, Bagel is pronounced BAY-GILL… 😮😂😅
Glad it was helpful! Junk journals are a very addictive craft 😊 hope you are enjoying making them. That’s what it’s all about. Thanks for your comment 🌺😊
I just discovered your channel. I need to make these beautiful storage journals, they are perfect in size and not too overwhelming. THANKFULLY I FOUND THIS VIDEO… because our Art Glitter glue in Canada has NO WARNING label for cancer!! unbelievable. I thought it was non toxic like PVA! thank you for pointing it out.🙏
@@JollyJamJournals Yes! Its on my to do projects. Have not made a journal yet but storage seems like a good place to start. I love the craft envelopes. I will have to find something else as a base but starting small is not a bad idea! Iv not sewed paper before either so it should be fun.
Hi Kat! My name is Erica & I live in Lawrence, Kansas, right smack in the middle of the US! It’s been fun reading all the comments on weather, we need both AC & heat here, because our temps can swing from bitter cold to extremely hot! (-10 - 110 degrees Fahrenheit, so that’s -23 - 43 Celsius!) That’s why we like spring & autumn so much & of course they’re so short compared to winter & summer! I think global warming is making the extremes more common, unfortunately! Crazy! I was so glad to see you pop up on UA-cam, this video is just fabulous!! Just what I wanted to see! I like your style very much & I appreciate your attention to detail! The paper bags & envelopes are quite clever! Could you tell me the name of the digis you used, I love the touch of lavender in them! I’ve never met anyone from Perth, so I’ll enjoy hearing more about life there, I have “liked” & subscribed! Thanks so so much! Erica❤
Wow! 😍 Great idea. I'm glad I didn't buy yet clear storage for my stickers and ephemera. This is a great place to put my stuff and I can easy see it and choose what I want.. I love it thank you soon much.. 😍

Hi Jolly Jam I just found you on you tube today as I was looking for ideas for grunge journal pages I got sick of looking and came across your channel, I really enjoyed your videos I have watched your five ideas for using envelopes which I found very interesting, I also loved this video. I actually had been gifted one of these folders for my birthday a few years ago. I actually do not use it at the moment. As I am into Art Journals and Junk Journals and I enjoy mixed media as well. I also do a lot of card making as i am in quite a few swap groups and run two of my own groups online. I also have been doing scrapbook challenges every month.. I love your channel and i have subscripted . I hope to get back here once a week. Thank you for sharing xx

I just subscribed…. This is awesome! Thank you! Lots to learn from you. I love the journal for fussy cuts and labels . In America we call them. Bay-gul.. how ever you say them, they are so yummy! We have shops that sell only bagels all day every day! One of my Favorites, is cranberry - Orange. You will love your beans fresh ground. That is all I do is fresh ground beans. You are my twin…. LOL I so love your efforts in making this project…. Thank you!
Thanks for subbing! Your bagel shop sounds amazing! I’d be in there atleast once a week! I have my ground coffee beans every morning. Nothing better 😊 Thanks for your lovely comments 🌺😊

Jolly Jam Journals has a lot of cute digitals on Etsy and Tracie Fox (LoveJunkJournals) has a whole lot too, including digital labels. I added links but YT didn't allow it and erased my comment so you have to search for them on Etsy or here on YT.
Hi! I’ve just found you for the first time. Very nice tutorial video for making very useful and CUTE label/ small ephemera folders. Thx. BTW I see this is from a yr ago so you might never read this, but it is pronounced: b- A- gel. (Hard to write but hard A sound. Beginning Similar to Angel. Last syllable more like sea GULL)
My first time on your channel so thank you for sharing! I love this but I actually liked the one at the beginning, which looks a little bigger but not too big. Is there a tutorial for that one by any chance?
Hi I'm in Oz too in WA, thanks for your video. I have just discovered Junk Journals and loving it learning every day. I liked your ruff edges ruler where did you buy it ? Thanks 😊
This was a great video! I enjoyed it very much. It reminded me of my stamp collection album. Now I really should get my sewing machine fixed. It saws backwards for some reason. 😆 I guess the backing button has gotten stuck somehow. 😇💖🙏🙌

Loved the video and am excited to try to make one of my own. I just have a question - what is the reason for using the envelopes as the base for the pages, since you don't actually use them as pockets or anything? Is it just to give more thickness/sturdiness to the pages?

Thank you so much. I've been watching and learning from several creators, but you've inspired me to make my first "journal," this ephemera book.
You can also just put a vertical pocket inside front and back covers, to add interest and to store some bigger items.

In the southern US, AC is highly important. In Minnesota, on the Canadian border, heating is highly important. But since it can get up to 37C in the summer, AC is also important. It gets down to -40C in the winter.
Thats right. We need an extensive wardrobe. I have Eskimo clothes and then Florida clothes. It sucks because you have to own so much. And, depending upon your storage space, you rotate it out. With Eskimo clothes being very bulky.
It sucks when you can literally switch between heat and AC in a single day, too!
