This trick also works with a simple paper clip from the office (on all eclipse models 07-2013) Just jump pin 1 and 4, when you complete the loop hit the emergency blinker button 6 times to go into programming mode. Then you have hit the lock unlock on all keys you want to use.

It might. I would suggest trying to find a forum post about the 1999 Spyder procedure
would the trunk work if the key fob has it and on an 02 spyder
If your original key fob had a trunk option programing it this way should work.

This was done on a GS and it should be the same procedure for a GTS
