- Now available on ISSIMI's Auction Platform, this 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato is one of just 99 coupes produced from the partnership between Aston Martin and Zagato and shows less than 2,500 miles at the time of cataloging. Delivered new to Los Gatos Luxury Cars in Los Gatos, CA, Zagato is finished in a special paint-to-sample shade called Hyperion Gray paired with black and carbon fiber trim accents around the vehicle’s exterior. The interior is finished in the eye-catching two-tone of Pure Black and Spicy Red Bridge of Weir leather and a full set of matching fitted luggage is included.
Powered by an upgraded version of the V12 found in the Vanquish S, the Zagato produces 580 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, which allows it to sprint from 0 to 60 in under 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 200 mph. This is paired with an 8-speed Touchtronic 3 automatic gearbox, sending power to the rear wheels. Under the hood is a placard stating that this car was hand inspected by Aston’s CEO at the time- Dr. Andy Palmer- and includes his signature as well.
Any car with the famous Zagato “Z” logo on the side is worth paying attention to, and this Vanquish Zagato coupe is no exception. Starting with the best Aston Martin had to offer, wrapping it in an even more stunning body, and only offering 99 examples to the world means this car looks pretty promising as far as future collectability is concerned.

The Shooting Brake is by far my favorite iteration of the Vanquish Zagato. Practical, spacious interiors n luggage space, fantastic engine sounds n of course the legendary Zagato styling. I'd probably straight pipe it though. 😬 These, the One-77 n the road converted Vulcan, Valkyrie, DB5, the standard V12 Vanquish n the DBS are among my most favourite Aston Martins built.

I’ve always liked how the back of this car looked. Not too many Aston Martins I actually like (not that they’re bad), but this is pretty close.

Still missing DTS
This car has such a pleasing modern aesthetic. That said, I agree with some of the comments about the promotional aspect of this post. It detracts from the artwork, engineering and enthusiast respect this Anglo-Italo creation deserves. But, after all, Issimi IS an auction/dealer. 🤷🏻♂️😉 The vehicle was presented well enough, but DTS is a hard act to follow in this domain.

You can experience it too . . . if you've got about $700,000 USD lying around burning a hole in your pocket. In all seriousness, that's an amazing vehicle and I wish I were fortunate enough to be able to sincerely consider something like this in my collection.

This is, without question, the last emotionally-overflowing-sounding, stunning-looking, great-driving, old-school cool, front-engine, rear-drive, naturally aspirated V12 Aston Martin. They've been dead since, to me at least.
Is this channel now becoming more self-interested in promoting the rare vehicles it adds to its auction site rather than what is was prior? Because I imagine the majority of those following this channel are doing so to experience what we will never have an opportunity to experience in person. So by now making your videos about the “auction” now available factor to the less than .01% who actually can afford these rare breeds - well not sure your fans agree! Start a channel for the Auction biz separately- just some feedback from a former fan

Get a reality check. What Issimi’s putting out is free.. if you don’t like it just move on. They don’t owe it to you to make content you like.. and don’t exaggerate.. .01% for one of these? The world you live in isn’t the only one that exists for “the majority” as you assume. Just because you might not be able to afford it doesn’t make the car/content itself irrelevant for the entertainment and captivation of others who might still appreciate the effort. If you are financially supporting their business directly, sure talk all you like.. but if you’re on youtube, maybe tone down your entitlement so the rest of us can hear the video.

With hindsight, when Scar cynically responded to Simba's innocent question with a rather sinister, "It's to die for!", he may have been forgiven for referring to this masterpiece from Aston Martin, the Vanquish Zagato. Zorro may have approved of this, were he to have decided on a special toy, apart from his earsplitting, trademark, Indiana Jones Whip and finely-crafted Sword. The Q Cars are becoming extinct and emotional content ripped out of high end machines.
The fog lights ruin the whole car.
