Mac OS X El Capitan calculator app can't do math!

Apple's calculator in Mac OS X El Capitan, publicly released version, cannot do some basic maths. In programmer mode it handles negative numbers wrongly.
*UPDATE* The calculator in macOS 10.14 Mojave now does these calculations properly!

With mojave version e^x when x is negative number it indicate NOT A NUMBER

agree man, who came up with this super not useful calculator?? can please apple correct it for the next OS update???

I don't think it will be a very high priority for them. Sadly.
