  • I could not find a UA-cam video for a brown color deposit only for salt and pepper hair that doesn't discolor long term.
I have tried a semi permanent "toner" and it did leave a yellowish hue after it washed out.
So I found Color Lux Cocoa conditioner and color deposit today on the shelf of Sallys Supply and decided to try it.
Directions say to use on wet hair daily til you get the desired effect. Or.. on dry hair for a more intense effect.
I really like the subtle results using it on dry hair for 45 minutes .
It made my hair very shiny and soft.
The only downside is the smell.. It is nice but very strong.
...But I highly recommend it. 👌

This looks absolutely stunning on you! It doesn't get rid of the beautiful grey but seems to enhance it in the best possible way!

Thank you for putting this video together - just bought it, have very similar hair to yours - including the length - and you helped me be brave enough to try it tonight- thx 😊

Definitely blended your grays into a brown shade, looks really good. Subsequent applications will make it even darker

Thank you for posting this. I've just recently finished growing my natural hair out, and it was a preety hard slog. Had a few passive aggressive comments on how it apparently does nothing for me. Was thinking about gettjng some highlights put in as I felt i dowdy. I may this a go now. Your hair resluts looked brilliant. 😊

Help , o just found your video. I bought a bottle of this earlier today at Sally’s. I also have a lot of natural grey on top and underneath. Plus what I would consider almost white areas. Most of the back still has my natural brown . I am 58 and the fist sign of gray was at 18.
You video is great and has helped me a lot
    Thank you 🙏🥰

I also like how it feels after rinsing and does not dry out hair. I love how it came out.

Please do a follow up. I was too afraid to do my whole head Copper, so I did undertones to see if it fades well. Don't want to lose my grey hair, took too long to grow it out.

So it didn't last as long as I wanted to but it was worth the few days of darker hair...

I am using the Color Lux/ Silver and I love it. It does not make my silver hair look purple. I just apply in the shower after I shampoo. I like that we can use this and not commit to perm color.

The difference is noticeable. You had lovely color before now it looks warmer.
I just picked up the same product to tone my overly colored hair until I get to a hairstylist who can do a tint back.

I only wish it lasted a little longer then a few days for all the work . But its definitely worth it.

@@mywaybyrene9285 I tried it. I had a messed up color that I still need fixed professionally. So my temporary fix was to try to tone the reds with matrix green, then condition with color lux cocoa.
The color lux cocao worked better on ry Hair leaving on for 45 minutes. I felt it did hide my gray strands a bit better. And the extra bonus how soft it made y ahir feel.
I have long thick hair though so I felt that 2 uses and I've used it all up already so the cost long run would be more than professional coloring every 3 months.

It did tone it! I'm impressed, could you maybe do a follow up ? Also have you tried any more colors from color lux? I'm debating on getting some for my mom since she is transitioning to gray as well but is scared to try anything on her hair.

I spent two years growing out my gray hair. Had a day of feeling bad about it and bought a box color. I have horrible regrets. I let people’s comments get to me

I t is very challenging at times. I see myself in pics with my colored hair and think about dyeing it but then the thought if the root touch up every 3 weeks is unbearable to me. Just that freedom alone is worth having my silvery highlights. ❤ You can do it again and I will go faster then you think this time.

This looks amazing. Thank you for the video. I am trying it in my grays and couldn’t find a video.
P.S. I am going to re-do mine about 2 times a month and see if I can get it darker. It might deposit more color if you do it more often. 😊

My hair a combo of a growing out of dyed hair, but it's been over 6 months, it's coming in around a silvery gray so I got the Lux silvery gray. I'll use it every few bits to see if it does what I want,,, I want it all silvery gray. Hopefully this will help me to see if I want to use a permanent silvery gray, but product is so much EASIER and smells WAY better to use. LOL

    • @mywaybyrene9285
      @mywaybyrene9285  3 роки тому

I stay away from anything that says semi permanent color... It does have peroxide added and will turn your hair a brassy color. Always look for color deposit only for grey or salt and pepper hair. ❤
