Pretty spot on. I'm a Knight main and was convinced that he had the most inconsistent power in the game. But after playing HM I stand corrected. It's astounding how BHVR released another AI-based killer that is somehow *worse* than Knight's guards. I've seen Snug vault windows I don't want him to, refuse to vault windows I did want him to, curve around objects like he was greased in butter, get stuck on a tiny rock, and sometimes just flat out stop functioning for upwards of 10 seconds for no reason. Also, why the fuck does ordering Snug to jump over the same window/pallet that a survivor is vaulting make him jump over them without getting a hit?? This is the most basic way for killers to land hits with their powers; Survivor goes towards window > Aim power at window > Power hits survivor > Survivor goes down. Why is this not the case with HM? And the fucking gall of BHVR to release a skin that you can only buy with the $20 Auric Cell bundle right alongside the killer that doesn't even function half the time is beyond insulting. They care more about squeezing their playerbase of just a few more dimes than they do of giving them a functional character to play.

All Shaking Thunder and Jagged Compass are good perks. After playing her and getting her Adept (by never using her chase power), I can safely say Houndmaster is indeed a pile of dog doodoo. I just COMPLETELY disagree. Perhaps this is a differance in experiance, but i rarely run into bugs on this killer. Most bugs are due to rare perks or strange map geometry. Shes strong as hell, but she does need a perk slot dedicated to anti loop to assist in chases where simpler tiles can really burden her. Running general information perks, and Scourge Hook perks are alot of fun and are super effective. The dog can be hard to control, but Snug does have a consistant pathfinder that makes his chase power reliable. I do think she needs some Quality of Life improvments, but i think she is a sign that the devs are heading to a good direction for killer design. They so far have released 4 bangers in a row.
Jagged is good but half that ability shouldn't need to exist if BHVR bothered to update the scourge hook perks which should've been done years ago. If BHVR are so incompetent at making killers use powers which have an AI attached to them, maybe they should stop making those killers in the first place. Combination of Nurse and Hag would be a killer who can open temporary portals for a second or so to run through during which they cannot see survivors and being able to lay traps down which when successfully sprung teleports the survivor somewhere into the killer's terror radius. They haven't ironed out nemesis ai, knight ai, or survivor bot ai. Don't hold your breath expecting a fix anytime soon.
Took them literal YEARS to fix gamebreaking twins bugs which would: tilt your screen, prevent you from attacking or swapping forms, stun lock you in place for the rest of the match, and even all of the above simultaneously
@@The_WIll_OF_D99 you must be playing a different killer because I've been playing her everyday since she came out and haven't encountered any major bugs, the only one is sometimes the dog gets stuck
@@R1z1n_ttvYou probably encountered some qithout knowing. I saw the dog run past survivours inn search mode not giving any signal a survivour was there even when they were inn the search circle. Lost the adept archiviment because of that bug spesificly 3 times. Not to mention the dogs likes to jump through the window, even though you don't want to.
You need surgical hands to pinpoint the search ability on gens, wich somehow was better inn the PTB. Also, don't get me started on maps with 2 floors.
Yes, alot of bugs, and wrongs, but killer still is fun to play. 😂
I think this might be a pc only issue because I've played a fair few matches with her on my ps5 and she hasn't been anywhere near as bad as you say.
That's not how that works. He's just being a bit overblown with how much the bugs effect your matches. The bugs can fs be annoying but unless ur going up against too tier survivors you can work around them
Her power does work better on controller. I play PC, but switch off between mouse/keyboard and controller depending on which works better. Most PC users are too offended by the idea that a controller would work better that they won't even try it.
@Doesntmatter-o6w maybe they should take your approach instead of bitching that she's broken and unplayable. They probably have a pc master race mindset.
Luckily I got this crap chapter for free.
Bro they nerfed solo que survivors🤮🤮 what the hell. They deserve all the hate bro, the opposite of balance and fun is their goal
Killer sucks. Never playing her again. Not worth it. I already got clips of me cooking with her. Nothing else I can do with her. Not fun against players on these days
Wokemaster
How lol
If you play and enjoy a game where you can be mutilated and ravaged by a cannibalistic necrophile with a chsinsaw and you are offended specifically that someone on the roster is a black woman, you need help.
Mere existence of black person is woke. Brain rot
BHVR is Canadian, so they are definitely infected with the woke. But I'm pretty sure this Killer was more focused on the dog being the selling point more than anything else. Tho, she is a woke version of a "pirate." Like if you typed pirate into one of those AI art generators (which is probably exactly what they did).
Oh no a black killer, that makes the game woke! Every killer needs to be white!
All this criticism is valid but she genuinely is my favourite character gameplay-wise in a long while. Looking forward to the eventual QOL changes and bug fixes but I can live with it for now!
her design in terms of her looks and personality are great but god is she frustrating to use rn, to quote another youtuber: the worst killer i've had fun playing
I hate everyone complaining about houndmaster she is very niche you don't have to like her but stop your nit picking because other than taking care of the bugs shes perfectly fine
Why are you here then? If you hate the discourse surrounding her so much, don't engage with it.
The character _has problems,_ problems that should be pointed out and addressed. If you can't understand that, then I gotta ask once again: why ye be here?
10 Minutes of crying that we didn't get Nurse 2.0 that holds your hand and gives you the win for free.
What? Did we watch the same video? How did you get to that conclusion?
People just be saying shit I swear to the Broken God. Bro can't even numbers right lmao.
