9 minutes in I finally know what he was trying to tell us. He is trying to introduce us a new technology that allows you to recreate motion that is previously captured from other pictures. And supposedly such motion is generated with a set of precisive hydraulic system.
I discovered that you could watch videos at 2x's speed and I've been watching videos like these like crazy, I feel like a robot downloading information. I always hated how long the videos were and how slow they talked. I watched this video in thirteen minutes. 13 MINUTES!
Unbelievable VFX and CGI magic. My goal is to become a motion graphic designer after watching this. I love green screen magic so it will be a fun journey for sure. Thanks Adobe for hooking us up with such an amazing special effects display and for all the awesome tools you offer us all. Thanks Patrik for the awesome discussion and amazing displays.
A motion graphic designer has little to do with this. I think you aim to be a compositor if you like to green screen. A tip is to aim for 3D instead. It's far more fun to actually build the environments than to just do tons of tracking and matting. But that's a personal opinion, I'm biased for sure. C4D for environments and AE for compositing is a great workflow if you're a freelancer or if you want to start a small to medium post-production studio.
I'm no expert on the subject, but i've been looking into and doing motion tracking for about a month. watching a million tutorials on how to do motion tracking in davinci and blender. I've never heard anybody use the term "pixel on pixel". what is he talking about specifically? how could motion tracking not be pixel on pixel? it almost sounds like hes trying to say the motion tracking goes.... frame by frame? I'm so confused.
hi, could you shed more light on 9:22, so i get the track information were taken from the hydraulic platform he is sitting on but was the same track place on the dinosaur so the movement match that of the platform. a bit foggy
i only pressed on this video because i saw a norwegian riding a dinosaur holding a deer head because im norwegian. just a normal day in norway, riding around on our pet T-Rex'es, holding a freshly cut deer head...
He does such a bad job at explaining! What is he even talking about? His sentences sound like this: "Then we took the camera data and made it into this and were able to achieve great things with this new technologie." He is talking, but nothing comes out.
I fully understood what was trying to explain at 2:20 They were sent a still and used the motion capture camera for both the still and the live action to composite a pixel accurate movie in real time.
It took me a while to realise that this was an Adobe channel. This VFX video is quite admirable as well. Love it:)

It took forever for me to understand what was the technology doing exactly
u see that little cog option button on the bottom near the fullscreen button? if u click on that u can chose to slow it down or speed it up. i

Why so much cgi and greenacreen
Why is he so "enthusiastic"? Too much caffeine maybe or what? Haha! Anyway, that was really interesting!
If you were doing what he's doing, you'd be as "enthused" as he was in this video.
When it’s adobe... it’s about 20-50 a month, instead of just letting you buy it.
haa
He sounds like John Malkovich
When Adobe haven't any 3D VFX app to generate envoirenment...
