This case is AMAZING. It genuinely seems like a much better choice in the same vertical form factor than the NZXT H1 from a few years back. For what you are getting, the price is decent IMO, though of course on sale or if it was around that $350 price point it would be a no brainer choice. The fact that your Motherboard IO is accessible as well as the GPU compatibility and standard non-proprietary 120mm radiator makes this excellent

  • @garrek99

The problem with this case is the PSU exhausting hot air into the radiator.
I fixed that problem with a small aluminum plate that allowed me to rotate the PSU 90 degrees counterclockwise so that it will exhaust out the back.

I replaced the radiator fan with a Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM. The stock Coolermaster fan was horrendously noisy out of the box. The Noctua Fan is very quiet and the cpu ran cooler in all situations with the Noctua fan installed. Coolermaster has hit on a pretty good idea here but as usual are shooting themselves in the foot trying to save a buck with crap fans.

I just was wondering, what do you do with these builds once you are done? • @carterhanks

The 4090 FE (And I think all of the 40 series FE cards IIRC?) exhausts through the HDMI/DP side, and on the GEFORCE RTX side it pulls air directly through the cooler and out of the top/back straight through the fan. At least that is my understanding of it. Either way same issue you were talking about - just slightly less crucial since at least the one fan will exhaust downward instead of straight back into the panel. Mightnot be considered ideal because it is tyring to send hot air downward via one fan, but seemingly less crucial since there will at least be space for the air to flow vs being blocked/restricted by the panel. Likely why you're still seeing acceptable performance/temps even with this style of card.
Anyway. Love the videos. Production quality is awesome, and I love the variety in builds. Binging your channel always has me wanting to build another.
