Same problem could not connect to hotsopt. Tried manually assign IP, could connect but no access to internet. Then I reinstalled Ethernet and WIFI driver and rebooted. Worked without the need to manual assign IP.

Figure out the network for your VPN by turning it off and on to see which Ethernet will disconnect and connect. Turn on Windows Hotspot to find out the name of the network. Share the VPN as shown in the video. If wifi devices don't connect automatically , then you have to add network details manually as I did in the video. Do ipconfig as in the video. Then use the details for your hotspot network in the device you want to connect. Just watch the video again and don't skip about.

Hey! I'm aware this is kind of an old video but everytime I try to connected on my phone it says internet isn't available, but it is connecting. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong.
I strictly need residential vpn to have on my smartphone, but on App store I found none. So this is the only one I can use. But I need a way to use it on my smartphone. Please help out!
Which VPN are you using? What error are you receiving on the connected device. Troubleshoot your Windows network or restart the other device you are connecting on. Depending on your VPN, sometimes you don't have to assign the IP manually. Don't skip any parts of the video. It works. Tried with Nord, FastVpn, and free OpenVPN. All worked if you use static IP

bro after conneting vpn there is no tap adapter connet....i saw tap adapter but its not connet and unplug whatever vpn on and off

Sometimes you don't have to assign manually. It depends on the VPN network protocol

Hi it does not automatically take the subset prefix length, gateway and dns server in my windows laptop even if I add the IP manually

Nvm!! I just shared connection through the "NordLynx" tunnel and it worked!

I had mine working for a week and then something happened 😴😴😴
Check the latest Windows update after the issue started happening. And remove it. Could be that.
