Hello, I suppose it depends on how steep the hill is. I can manage a slight incline with this setup for a few hundred meters, but not much more. In this video ( ua-cam.com/video/G3WLtzfpUKM/v-deo.html ), you can see that I'm going up a slight incline with the same setup (the one on the left). Anything steeper than that would be challenging, I think. Loosening the front truck, shortening the wheelbase, or de-wedging the rear truck could help with pumping against an upslope, but if I wanted to de-wedge the rear truck, I wouldn't choose Delirium; it would probably be easier to go with DDR+Poppy. 🙂
Hi, thanks for your answer! Not sure then, if that setup is the right one for my hilly area. Have you ever measured, what avg and max speed you achieve with the setup? :)
I haven't measured the average speed with this setup, but based on my experience with other setups, I guess I would achieve an average speed of 16 to 17 km/h over a distance of 16 km or so. I'm not the athletic type, and I'm happy just pumping around. ☺
Thanks for your comment. I chose Delirium for this set up since I wanted to try 0 degree rear truck. Combination of Bhanger and Delirium works good for me though, I am not sure if it provides surfy surfskate like pumping or not. I only have limited experience with surfskate system(I've only tried Curfboard Truck), unfortunately.
@@RyukyuPumpers thank you for your response. Would you change your delirium to poppy on the rear for this setup? I am not sure What is the difference between both
@@YourFault For this setup, I would not change delirium to poppy since I'm happy with current configuration. I have another deck with poppy on rear(PA is set to -12) and I think they are similar. With poppy, perhaps you can mount it on Gbomb DDR so that you can have adjustability on PA angle but it will be heavier. With delirium, PA is 0 degree and you can't adjust PA angle. I think that is the biggest difference.
could you compare bhanger and poppy for me? I would like to build a topmount pumper and already have experience with a poppy but have never ridden a tkp before. what can i expect from a tkp in a topmount setup?
Hi Niclas, Sorry for late response. I don't find much difference between Poppy and Bhanger in terms of pumpability. I guess as most people describe, you'll find "dive" feel with Bhanger where Poppy has more linear feel. There has been number of discussion regarding RKP vs TKP in Pavedwave forum. I think you may find your answer there: www.tapatalk.com/groups/pavedwave/
Have you compared a TTS with the delirium at all? I have a Bhanger/TTS and a Poppy/TTS setup. thinking about switching rears. Looking for something that thrives at the low gears rather than mid/top speeds
Thanks for your comment. I was using Bhanger/TTS then Bhanger/TTS-slim with this deck before I replace the rear with Delirium. I think Delirium works better at lower speed since it can provide wider range of lean angle compared to TTS/TTS-slim.
Thinking about same truck setup. Is it possible to pump uphill or at least to wedge the delirium to be able to pump uphill? :)

Hi (: love your videos. Do byou prefer poppy or delirium for the rear? And bhanger at the front. I’m looking for a surfy surfskate like pumping
