I've gone ahead and ordered the CD based on the strength of the tiny samples provided on UA-cam. It will be the second Theodora in my collection, but because of Hana it will always be #1. 🖤
First version being McCreesh. :-) Having owned Otto's version for one year now, I am happy to report that it continues to please me greatly! 🖤Hana Blažíková delivers "Fond, Flatt'ring World, Adieu" - for example - with stunning authority. The McCreesh version, however, has the virtue of being complete (unabridged). There is a version of "O that I on Wings cou'd rise" on the McCreesh disc that is beautifully sung by Susan Gritton. Unfortunately, one can only DREAM of what Hana would have done with it. 😥🖤
