  • So I set off for the unexplored areas of Canada in Thunder Bay! This location had been checked out before but not well enough. I got the call earlier in the summer so set off to go see what this new discovery is all about!! WHaaaaat! I'm so happy that I did, this location is so good! WOW!
Hope to be open to public next year, stay tuned for atleast 1-2 more videos from this location coming soon!

Hey I talked to you back around the beginning of the summer. I explained how I really want to do this. And that I'm disabled. Have some trouble walking. You said to remind you about this time and we could figure out how I could do this. My daughter has actually been bitten by the crystal bug and she wants to go to the one in Georgia and I told her I'd find out the best one to go to. We went to a gold mine place we had fun but it really wasn't worth driving 6 hours to. We were 30 miles from Georgia. I've fallen 4 times in the last week and broke several ribs so doing it this year might not happen. So a little disappointed. But she said there was one open year round and maybe we could go then. Love watching your videos you seem to have the best time. But if you could tell me the best location to go I'd truly love it. Sorry so long. Looking forward to your next video. God bless you.

That first point had Ghost crystals inside of it! That's where it quit growing for a while then a new infusion pf gasses came into the void and growth began again. What a magnificent find and adventure! Love how you started showing the cleaned up crystals in the side picture. Because its really hard to invision what they look like with all the mud. Thanks for sharing the adventure!!!

Hematite on the surface is common...... but you can also get fully glassy points in deep purples.... look also for beautifully double terminated apatite crystals and other goodies in the area. Its filled with minerals and gems.

Thats amazing. Just had my first amethyst mining experience at Jackson's Crossing 2 weeks ago!! I would go every weekend if I could but unfortunately I live in Massachusetts and no mines close to me!!

I'm from CT and was down at JXR back in june! Was an amazing time, and believe me there is mines and old quarry dumps all around you in both MA and CT and theres to many minerals to even imagine north of us.

Smokey quartz at Diamond Hill in Blackstone. Not giant but there are some nice one. You can also find some beautiful Garnets there as well. NH has some great spots for nice smokies as well.
