I did both 10 day vipassana and online inner engineering course. While Sadhguru is wonderful and I listen to him every day, I felt more change and more peace when I did vipassana. It requires more patience but the results are amazing and more noticeable. People doing vipassana with me also said they tried inner engineering and other meditations, vipassana made more sense to them.
Brother i also, they both are real gems of india. I have great respect for Lord Gautam Buddha and Sadguru too..And i am also not comparing both of them with each other.🙏🙏🙏
Inner engineering online is nothing , it's just answering the questions , those were arisen in like Vipassana . The main thing is the completion program. Untill you do the Shambhavi mahamudra, it's not completed which im looking forward to
Please don't waste your remaining life for gaining name n fame..they are impermanent. If possible, try 10 days Vipassana meditation and experience youself. Lots of metta 🙏
Any vipasyi , never ever criticise, leave about criticism they don’t even comment about any other spiritual practice or even there is no marketing of Vipasana. Still millions follow, so there must be a good reason , isn’t it!
I have tried so many things to understand real dharma but found Vipassana to be the best( saying this from my experience) It's the ultimate spiritual path for people from any religion.
@@shashankpaliwal4603 brother, in buddhism Buddha is not a god, he spent his whole life in guiding others n if u see in other religions there are gods so just suppose that vipassana came from any of those religions where they consider this or that person is god n ppl from other religions came to learn vipassana then it would be almost impossible for them to get the real benefit out of this meditation but in Buddhism Buddha is a teacher where anyone can learn from his teachings regardless of that individual’s gender, skin colour n religion.. hope ur doubt is cleared,be happy.
Brother I too totally agree, last week only i came back from the vipassana n found it the most helpful way to know how to become free from all of my negative thoughts, ppl need to keep aside their religion for those ten days then only then can understand the true meaning of vipassana, religion. True religion can never be limited to one particular community,it is universal, which teaches the laws of the nature n that’s what Buddha’s teachings are about which you’ll find in the vipassana.
Well Jaggi doesn't have any answer. He remembers enough scientific jargons to fool wannabe intellectuals. Of course he has to bully the one whom he can't actually answer!
Namaste Sadguru ji. I attended the 10-day Vipasana course. According to the teaching what we were told was, Vipasana means " seeing anything as it is" that means seeing the true nature of a person, thing or anything that exists before us. Doing so one will not crave for or hate a thing in this world. It is an arduous journey definitely but Vipasana doesn't mean "no questioning"
In my course every day we have one hour for question and answer. It's a great miraclous practice invention of Budha himself. life changing power. If you visit his ashram than you will how much he charge, it's highly commercial. If people will practice Vipassana then his spiritual businesses will close. Do not follow any one blindly.
@@youngmonk_tales nope it's called misinterpretation. In Pali, vi means special and passana comes from passati which means seeing/observing. Sadguru didn't understand what Vipassana actually means. He can't interpret whatever he likes. This is not the first time Sadguru misinterpreted the Buddhist texts.
Vipassana is truely life changing experience,,, Their can be asked questions ,,not just shut up n do it, as sadguruji saying ,, their are nice evening discourses by guruji extremely helpful to understand true sign of nature ,,and practicing regularly gives big change in life ,,increses courage,,increse in making dicision,,decreses all negativity in mind
I attended both vipassana ( 2011 ) and samayama conducted by jaggi vasudev ji ( 2001 ). Both are extremely good. Never and ever compare two guru. Guru are unique in nature . I love vipassana and felt it is ultimate. Its all individual experience and it may vary from person to person. All the best
Hi Sadguru Greetings! I attended 10 days of Vipassana meditation I just want to say that it is a fantastic process for Enlightenment... as you also said... But There is a Q/A session everyday in the Afternoon in the Vipassana Meditation with the Guru One On One Q/A session to understand the process well.. Be Happy ☺️ Thanks!
I really liked that people are not blind followers. If they have found something incorrect in what Sadhguru has said, they have expressed it. Thats a very good sign.
Just finished my 8th Vipassana course and amn preparing for my first 20 day course. In my opinion Sadhguru-Ji got a few things incorrect in this discourse. Gautama was actually instructing a lot. And gave wonderful discourses too. It is not possible to learn Vipassana in a "to go" kind of session. It takes years and years to understand it even at the basic levels. And although it is a slow process while one chips away ones impurities, when one looks back just a year, the progress with Vipassna is a tremendous one. One other point is, that the minds main quality that is trained is not perseverance. But awareness as well as equanimity. I wish everyone to try it out at least once. And if one already did one, hopefully you will find the time to sit another one. This path is truly a gem
@@frederickwilliams5515 Craving in this context refers to any form of attachment, whether to pleasant experiences, specific states of mind . The practice encourages observing these cravings without attachment, recognizing their impermanent nature, and letting them go. Therefore, if the desire to do more courses stems from a craving for certain experiences or results, it would be important to observe this craving and understand its impermanent and often unsatisfactory nature. However, it is also essential to distinguish between wholesome intentions and unwholesome cravings. A genuine, mindful desire to deepen one's practice, learn more, and grow spiritually can be beneficial, as long as it is approached with a sense of balance and non-attachment. The key is to maintain awareness and equanimity, ensuring that the motivation to attend more courses is not driven by an underlying craving but by a sincere intention to progress on the path. may everyone be happy
I think these comments are the results of Vipassana meditation coz I see truly no violence and they explain the essence of Vipassana meditation, and daily process to Sadhguru and other listeners and readers compassionately. These are the results and advantages of Vipassana meditation and I truly feel completely peaceful in 10 day training . Thanks
Vipassana does not stop you from asking questions, it just asks you for a little patience and to look closer for an answer. Experiential understanding is the goal and not just to take someone else's theory and believe in it. It is an experiment, you act like a scientist instead of following gurus or sadhgurus. Lastly, it is not a laborious process. It is the only time in your day when you observe the reality as it is and live in the moment. It is a beautiful process. I also don't understand how anyone like Sadhguru act so unkind and make fun of the person who asks a genuine question just to entertain the audience.
Language of so called Sadguru is not to the mark of a guru. He should be kind and respectful to everyone, and not to criticise just for the fun of his disciples.
People who got 2 min glimpse of the reality, now talking about a person who's already cultivating that field. And totally misinterpreting most of the words ofc. This is the ignorance he talked about in the last part of the video. And this stupidities proving him right. Don't even have the patience to listen to the whole thing one's talking about. You understand this thing , i guess, as a vipasana practitioner, you must have got what he said. And that was an obvious stupid question, the guy heard from others about karma and messed it up with evolution and came up with a superficial question OR wasn't able to represent it in the right way.

Its not that Buddha had no time to give instructions. He knew that people will make thousand interpretations and a point will come when Buddhism would only be left with words and commentaries as happened in Hinduism. Be your own light and belive in your own experience was the notion of Buddha. Its slow but most Powerful one. By this comment i do not mean to criticize Sadhguru either. Every guru has his notion. Just wanted to bring forward the reality.🙏❤️
Vipassana is a very scientific and super simple and easily understandable form of meditation. So most people are so convinced about it and they see the results while doing it too so most people don't really have much doubts because the Vipassana course is conducted so well and with so much care. I have attended 2 courses so I am talking with personal experience. Still we have question answer sessions with our assistant Teachers and can approach our teachers personally too during breaks. Infact after the course is done, we are given the teachers' contact details so that we can call them and ask them whatever is bothering us. I really like Sadhguru's insights but blindly labelling other spiritual practices and making them sound so ancient is not a wise person's way to handle difference of opinion. I request Sadhguru ji to take a single course of Vipassana and then give feedback.
Most of the time He manipulate and don't have clearity about questions. Vipasanana leads you to higher consciousness, where perspectives get changed and Vairagya is attained that person become neutral and very precise in life
My dear fellow .I would like to get to you the notice on the sixth day of meditation sn goenka's 1 hr or more pravachana where he mentioned this Sadhguru which we are watching right now that how sadhguru felt after doing the Vipassana course and it was in Sadhguru's majesty but not simply mentioning him.And still in confusion then you should watch pravachana on youtube of day 6 or 7. 🙏
I have done the Vipassana myself, and found it to be quite amazing. I am not sure of what he meant by "no questions". Having said that, he does that that if you follow the instructions correctly , and keep at it, it will transform you. He even says that although it might be a laborious process, it is a FANTASTIC process (timestamp: @15:17) wherein if you follow the basic guidelines, it will transform who you are. My take on what he meant by what he said is that maybe since the vipassana needs to be "true in your own experience" , you cannot use others or attempt to get the state through questioning. It must happen in your own experience as you persevere. After all, the basic idea is to observe your own sensations while maintaining equanimity. Maybe, Sadhguru used the words "no questions" in a strange way, but I don't think he meant that means that no one asks questions. I think his point was that asking questions is not helpful in reaching the state (since it must be done through self-observation without reacting), and not that no one asks or answers questions. As we all are probably aware, the video tapes at the end of every day's sessions are specifically designed to help not only with the technique but also with understanding the theory behind it. All Sadhguru seems to be saying is that the theory is not as important as the process to get to the Vipassana state and this much is true. He even goes far enough to say that it is a Fantastic process that works. Everyone in the comments sections seems to be jumping to quick conclusions on what he meant so I thought that it would help to clarify.
1st time I see that Sathguru is not able to answer the question. Instead he started blaming the person who asked the question. Moreover he keeps on wondering everywhere. In fact the question is really valuable. However Buddha answered it the answer is Proliferation nature of the Self or other words energy & matter is the cause for starting of birth When God Sakka asked questions to Lord Buddha he explained this point clearly May more Wisdom descents on Mankind and sathguru as well
Sadhguru never answers directly bcoz it can effect many people, he first tells stories then explains then answers, you can see in his many full DVD videos...
He did say about the energy and the matter and the atom thing. And he was asking abt the karma then he said its not only karma what causes birth everytime.
It's about perspective and personal experience..when one attend Vipassana retreat with practice will understand, it's about Experience and in that context said - jo questions..
Sadguruji take knowledge of vipassana for 10 day's,lord Buddha really give this technique to come our from suffering but only can be understood by experience.
He actually answered it in first few words itself when he explained how karma is generated. You missed it and focused only on the extra wisdom which he gave later
Vipassana means seeing things as they really are and not " no questioning" as mentioned by Sadguru I did a 10 day Vipassana course and also other forms of meditation practices earlier, can say from my experience that Vipassana is the most helpful and powerful.
According to sadhguru only his way of teaching is great and best...who said that there is no interaction or Qand A session in vipassana.. Those who have done vipassana they know it well.. There is a one to one QnA session everyday. Plz don't spread wrong information... A true Guru never critisize other path of spirituality..vipassana is true sense of self realization.. Go for a 10 day class and feel what experience you get..its heaven on earth..
Exactly. Goenka always respects all religions and paths and teaches Vipassana purely with compassion wisdom and humor. He answers all questions respectfully. I’ll go back to his videos now.
Vipassana means self experience. By self experience one can evolve answers to all our questions or doubts. Like scientists who come up with a discovery that never existed earlier. We have to discover answers for our questions. Thanks Guruji.
I have done Art of Living, Inner engineering, reiki & Vipassanai.. It’s my opinion that Vipassana is best. That 10day course was so amazing experience is beyond words they never did any marketing Vipassana is solely standing of word of mouth. Follow any methods destination is same🙏🏻

He is just saying to the Vipassana student who came him that it is a good technique and he should just keep doing it instead of looking elsewhere for answers. If he did it properly, he would find the answers within. That's all. No questions means, have faith in whichever path you have chosen and stick to it (instead of running here and there).
To all my fellow Vipassana practitioners, you might not agree to this video and some might conclude that Sadhguru is not a good teacher. I asked this question 8 years ago to my yoga teacher. He said, atleast some people are getting benefit out of him. Atleast they are not terrorists or harming fellow humans or animals. His thought process is different and his teachings are different but it doesn’t mean he is wrong. If any one believes him then that’s responsibility of that person. After all everyone is an adult :) In this world where we see so much crime, but I am pretty sure his believers will not harm the living beings. Look at the positive side 😉

An “Enlightened “ person is someone who has dissolved his affections towards all physical matters like money, power sensual pleasures etc. and most and very important he has to dissolve his EGO. Egoistic person can never reach enlightenment because he is still attached to his so called existence/place in the physical world. Also enlightened person only generate love and affection towards all living beings irrespective of bad situations etc ( for example. Lord Rama when unfairly sent to exile he didn’t generate anger or animosity. Jesus Christ didn’t generate hate towards people who were crucifying him. He instead showered love towards them and wished that they don’t pay for their actions. Prophet Muhammad didn’t got angry towards the lady who threw garbage on him every day when he used to go for praying. Lord Mahavir didn’t generate anger and hate towards an evil person who was striking nail on his ear. Lord Buddha didn’t generate animosity anger towards a person who threw big rock on him. These are the qualities of an enlightened person. One shouldn’t mock if he is unable to generate love for others 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Also vipassana doesn’t mean “no questions”. It means seeing (experiencing) things as it is. So, at least refrain from spreading lies. It will only affect you badly. If you keep spreading lies and be hateful you will become a person of rotten psyche. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Don't waste your time by listening this great intellectual..... Go for Vipassana ...that will really transform him......this theory will not work for us
Vipassana meaning - 'Vi' = special ,'Passanna' = seeing. Special seeing :) It never ever means "no questions" ! Instead you should ask questions to yourself and eventually you will find the answer by yourself :)

1. The seeker called himself "decent ... something" what shows that he is not decent at all. So Sadhguru was amused and made some ironic remarks on that. 2. The seeker said that NOBODY until now was able to give him an proper answer. Which again is not decent at all. Why is he now questioning Sadhguru? Does he think Sadhguru has the answer or was it just to proof there is the next fool? Maybe he was not able to get the answer. 3. Sadhguru gave an answer! But a lot of people here in the comments are obviously in the same state as the "decent guy": The didn't get it and are now claiming, Sadhguru is a conman, Sadhguru don't know the answer, Sadhguru just made silly talk … and so an. 4-Besides, Sadhguru said: The question (and the answer) will not add to your PRACTICE of Vipassana. Just do the practice, the result will come. But you have to do it regularly and for a long time. Sadhguru did not dismiss Vipassana at all. 5. Sadhguru comes from another tradition. He is a kriya Yogi, he works on the energy level. So his practises are others than Vipassana. Try it or leave it - but please don't make assumptions on an answer that you did not get (fully).

I was wondering!! I’ve been listening and it’s a lot of words to nothing. In Seattle, we used to have a lot of on-ramp and offramp‘s to nowhere because funding ran out, and as you drove the freeway into the city, you would see these on ramps to nowhere and I would find it funny (they are of course, now finished) but it seems like a similar experience listening to this guy 😅 where when I listen to Goenka, within five minutes I know exactly where I’m going, what I’m listening to and resonate with it deeply so apparently that is what I need to do. Thank you for your comment. ❤
During Vipassana there were thousands of questions came and gone but Goenka ji asked us to observe the question never asked us to get rid of by using craving and aversion just to observe There is a lot of discomforts and strange emotions comes into surface which is accumulated over time since we born In Vipassana emotions come to provoke Rag, Desh but if we stick to guruji's teaching who ask us restrain to show Rag Desh and observe the main thing like seeing breath and sensation below the nostrils in Anapana and later observing sensation over our whole body from head to feat or feat to head Join the course to know thyself otherwise being caught in web of cause and effect MAYA🙏
I just completed Vipassana. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend the technique. “Observe the sensation objectively!” Dhamma Dipa, Herefordshire UK.
"Buddha’s way was Vipassana - vipassana means witnessing. And he found one of the greatest devices ever: the device of watching your breath, just watching your breath. Breathing is such a simple and natural phenomenon and it is there twenty-four hours a day. You need not make any effort. If you repeat a mantra then you will have to make an effort, you will have to force yourself. If you say, “Ram, Ram, Ram,” you will have to continuously strain yourself. And you are bound to forget many times. Moreover, the word ‘Ram’ is again something of the mind, and anything of the mind can never lead you beyond the mind .Buddha discovered a totally different angle: just watch your breath - the breath coming in, the breath going out. There are four points to be watched. Sitting silently just start seeing the breath, feeling the breath. The breath going in is the first point. Then for a moment when the breath is in it stops - a very small moment it is - for a split second it stops; that is the second point to watch. Then the breath turns and goes out; this is the third point to watch. Then again when the breath is completely out, for a split second it stops; that is the fourth point to watch. Then the breath starts coming in again… this is the circle of breath. If you can watch all these four points you will be surprised, amazed at the miracle of such a simple process - because mind is not involved. Watching is not a quality of the mind; watching is the quality of the soul, of consciousness; watching is not a mental process at all. When you watch, the mind stops, ceases to be. Yes, in the beginning many times you will forget and the mind will come in and start playing its old games. But whenever you remember that you had forgotten, there is no need to feel repentant, guilty - just go back to watching, again and again go back to watching your breath. Slowly, slowly, less and less mind interferes .And when you can watch your breath for forty-eight minutes as a continuum, you will become enlightened. You will be surprised - just forty-eight minutes - because you will think that it is not very difficult… just forty-eight minutes! It is very difficult. Forty-eight seconds and you will have fallen victim to the mind many times. Try it with a watch in front of you; in the beginning you cannot be watchful for sixty seconds. In just sixty seconds, that is one minute, you will fall asleep many times, you will forget all about watching - the watch and the watching will both be forgotten. Some idea will take you far, far away; then suddenly you will realize… you will look at the watch and ten seconds have passed. For ten seconds you were not watching. But slowly, slowly - it is a knack; it is not a practice, it is a knack - slowly, slowly you imbibe it, because those few moments when you are watchful are of such exquisite beauty, of such tremendous joy, of such incredible ecstasy, that once you have tasted those few moments you would like to come back again and again - not for any other motive, just for the sheer joy of being there, present to the breath. Remember, it is not the same process as is done in yoga. In yoga the process is called pranayam; it is a totally different process, in fact just the opposite of what Buddha calls vipassana. In pranayam you take deep breaths, you fill your chest with more and more air, more and more oxygen; then you empty your chest as totally as possible of all carbon dioxide. It is a physical exercise - good for the body but it has nothing to do with vipassana. In vipassana you are not to change the rhythm of your natural breath, you are not to take long, deep breaths, you are not to exhale in any way differently than you ordinarily do. Let it be absolutely normal and natural. Your whole consciousness has to be on one point; watching .And if you can watch your breath then you can start watching other things too. Walking you can watch that you are walking, eating you can watch that you are eating, and ultimately, finally, you can watch that you are sleeping. The day you can watch that you are sleeping you are transported into another world. The body goes on sleeping and inside a light goes on burning brightly. Your watchfulness remains undisturbed, then twenty-four hours a day there is an undercurrent of watching. You go on doing things… for the outside world nothing has changed, but for you everything has changed."

Namaskaram to both great masters, Shri S.N.Goenka Ji and Sadhguru. Sadhguru, in a way has described Vipassana as a process which will give you all answers in experience when you are ready. He is just conveying, not to get entangled in these logical question n answer process as they won't take anyone any nearer to reality. He is not making a comment on Vipassana in any way. Finally, it is about realization, so lets understand, initial steps of various spiritual process might be different, but the core is always the same. A request to the owner of this channel, to change the TITLE, as it creates an illusion that it is a competition between the two processes. Thanks.

He probably doesn’t know, which is okay. Humans don’t need to know everything, doesn’t matter how spiritually developed they are. Focus on developing yourself, you don’t have to worry about every nook and cranny of the universe of how this came into that or how that happened. You’ll learn about all those things most likely after death anyways
That was clear a fake question, no true Vipassana practitioner would have such question in mind. Jaggi's usual style of making audience laugh and mis-guiding. Few facts (1) Vipassana does not advertise / promote. (2).Course is FREE, which includes stay and food (3) People go voluntary hearing from a person who did. (4) 10 day noble silence is part of learning (Jaggi stop playing cheap words like ' no questions') (5) They do NOT ask for donations from public or others, the institution runs on donation given by ONLY vipassana meditator (6) It stands tall with 341 centres in 94 countries and taught by 1300 Assistant Teachers worldwide. All this ONLY through donations received from Vipassana meditator. Without attending Vipassana course, he cannot make those comments, obvious he is an incomplete product. Hope people understand what true meditation is. Jaggi found cheap way of making money, he can run his business using free volunteers and collecting money for courses and corporate donations.

Some people here are saying that Vipassana is bigger/greater than Yoga. Vipassana is a very big tool to enlightenment, true. But Vipassana comes under the Dhyana and Dhyana comes under Yoga. Many people think that Yoga is just doing some asanas and twisting your body but it is actually completely wrong. Yoga consists of 8 sections(ashtanga Yoga) namely Yama, Niyama, Pranayam, Pratyahara, Asana, Dharana,Dhyana(meditation) and Samadhi. I think one should know the basics before saying/stating anything because people here are reading it and we should be responsible enough to check the facts especially when we are all here to grow. I know these things because i have been studying all this from childhood, otherwise i would also believe whatever is written. P.s.- I have attended both Vipassana and Inner Engineering and both are very different.
Let me tell you final answer... There is no shortcut for liberation.. *vipassnaa is the only path that can lead you to Nirvana... *Only means only nothing else..You will feel like meeting with god.. Happiness like ocean.. *Pls don't run here and there.. Practice vipaasana daily.. Change your life and after that do and go wherever u want... *But unless u do vipassna all teaching , sermons, all are waste... *My conditions was worse some years back.. Severely addicted..Evil thoughts... Depression.. Inferiority complex..Lust..Anger .Hatred.. Jealousness...I feel lucky that I went for vipasaana.. *It is vanishing from my mind .. Slowly slowly slowly...Keep working...Work till last breathe...Push urself more close to nirvana... All the best .. 🙏 I wish whoever every living being in this universe live with peace and happiness 😊
I was a miserable person few years ago. Loosing temper on merely unimportant things, addicted to alcohol. After I started practising Vipassana I was able to be aware before getting angry, so slowly slowly my anger is reduced. And now I’m not as much addicted towards alcohol ( not 100% free from it yet, but now I don’t crave for it.)

Practiced vipassana for months following 10 day retreat. The effect is great , health improves but a phase came for me where growth did not happen! My take is vipassana will be starting point. Due to modern lifestyle serious yoga should only be practiced only after couple of years of vipassana.
I dont know what question buddha not answered and you can ask any question in centre too....and 10day course is just basic one.... You need to practice to understand it.Later attend next level course. There are lots and lots of Buddhist teachings which are phenomenal understanding about mind. 2500 years ago one man dedicated his whole life in meditation and tried to find a truth...tried to find happiness and peace. He find it. He enlightened. Is sadhguru enlightened with his own technique?...its all just a bloody bussiness.
Vipassana means looking within. We have all answers within ourselves. When we practice meditation consistently, we start getting answers. Our mind and body starts to heal. The experience of happiness without any reason is the outcome. That is the ultimate goal of human life.🙏🏻
I am disappointed that a person like Sadhguru who I respect greatly ended up reducing Vipassana to a "No instructions. Just do it." type of meditation. It's so much more than that. Also, I didn't like how he kept insulting/mocking the person who asked the question. It's really disappointing.
Vipassana is an effective but slow process. But as said by Sadhguru, don't just stand there wasting your life, take a step forward either to Vipassana or Isha Engineering.
After watching Sadhaguru's so many videos, I finally found him speaking something genuine. Yes he is right. Don't get sruck in mental wrestling. Just do the Vipassana.
Vipassana doesn’t mean no questions. Vipassana literally means seeing things as they really are. But in ancient Pali language “passyana” also meant experiencing. SO VIPASSANA means EXPERIENCING things as they really are. When you do vipassana meditation you experience the truth as it is within you. Don’t expect miracles to happen in one 10 days course. It’s a life long process until you experience the ultimate truth, not imagined nor as told by any guru or god but real truth. If you don’t experience it yourself then it’s just entertainment. Hear and forget. Didn’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings. 🙏🏻
It was yogic culture not to ask questions and follow a particular path as it is heavily based on faith and belief. On the other hand, the approach of the Buddha was very scientific. He taught that don't trust what people say but see it yourself by using meditation. Vipassana is the same technique to understand the universe and our body just using our breath. In this particular video, Sadhguru is just being adamant as the person already mentioned that he is a vipassana meditator. The question is very logical and not idiotic.
I respectfully disagree with Sadhguru here. Buddha did explain to people why they are miserable and how Vipassana will help them to liberate themselves of craving, aversion. He also answered people's questions as well.
Sadhguru is always playful and joking around a bit and I love that about him 😃 but Vipassana really means "to see things as they really are" and you are of course allowed to ask questions, but there is a lot more focus on the practice of meditation, because that is the only thing that will bring us results and eventually also the answers to our questions 😊
I really liked that people are not blind followers. If they have found something incorrect in what Sadhguru has said, they have expressed it. Thats a very good sign.
I guess because the whole existence is a thought of consciousness and we are that consciousness attached to a certain thought. Just like the world world is a thought/projection created by one's mind everything there is us yet we identify ourselves with the thing that act as an observer. When nothing existed there was still a mind and like our mind the consciousness started thinking then attached it to various things..(I'm a little clouded rn I don't know if I'm right but I hope it helps you out, I'm still thinking it out)
I did inner engeneering and Vipassana both , both practices made my life wonderful in their respective ways and we are lucky to be on receiving end of these amazing meditative practices. U can't compare both but both work wonders when done properly.
I have done Vipassana Meditation And I say it openly that I don't practice it because of the time crunch. I don't know anybody there which simply means that I am not one of those however I must declare that, it is the biggest thing I have achieved in my life. All my questions were answered there without any counseling. I respect Sadhguru but it's very strange that without pursuing how can he comment on it. Strange.. May God bless him. || Budham Sharnam Gachhami ||
I used to be very busy to practice 2 hours daily in the beginning, but then I started doing mandatory one hour in the morning immediately after getting up. After few days I started feeling better and able to manage another hour before sleeping or before dinner. Once you start getting benefits you will be able to manage time. Good wish for you.🙏🏻
Were you able to crack how impermanence doesn't effect Nirvana? Were you able to crack without the self, how rebirth is explained? I guess these fundamental questions were answered in your 10 day course?
@@critical_analysis All your questions will be answered by its own. None has to put words in your mouth. Questions answers are good for Buddhi Vilas and it changes time to time. The real answer comes when you go deep within you and you are left with no questions.

Vipassana is Free for everyone all around the world. But i heard that to Attend Sadhguru’s Meditation camp it costs. Imagine yourself an institution which has no marketing department & is running on its own by the donation of old practitioners. Isn’t that amazing. So any Vipaswi who practice Vipassana never criticizes or polishes their knowledge & exaggeratively deliver in society. Rather than questioning in brain level, he/she takes some time patiently & observing inner chitta to find our the answers… first time I could smell ego/superiority complex on the answer. There are certain level of questions which are to be experienced by yourself only to know the answer. For eg. to the know the taste of a mango, you have eat it yourself. There’s no question that somebody would eat it for you & explain it to you about the taste.

Enlightenment is not solving the mystery of life by asking question triggered intellectually and knowing an answer as told by others. It's dissolving Saṅkhāra (Pali; सङ्खार; Sanskrit: संस्कार or saṃskāra).
Vipassana is purely scientific. One should do himself/ herself and observe the changes happens in ONE OWN SELF. It is not to read, but observe mind and body connection by DOING it. It's sacred process

Namaste Sadguru ji. I attended the 10-day Vipasana course. Doing so one will not crave for or hate a thing in this world. It is an arduous journey definitely but Vipasana doesn't mean "no questioning"
Correct!! I did too
In my course every day we have one hour for question and answer. It's a great miraclous practice invention of Budha himself. life changing power.

Can the 'want' to do multiple courses in itself be a form of 'craving'?

Rightly you said Sadguru, "Vipassana means no question". Because Vipassana is the Answer to every question. 🙏🙏
Exactly sir ❤️
Wow!
Sadhu sadhu sadhu 🙏🏼

You said correctly 👍
Vipasanana leads you to higher consciousness, where perspectives get changed and Vairagya is attained that person become neutral and very precise in life
Did all these courses make you a more compassionate being, nonjudgmental?

Vipassana has helped me.. And all whom I know..

When God Sakka asked questions to Lord Buddha he explained this point clearly

Sadhguru never answers directly bcoz it can effect many people, he first tells stories then explains then answers, you can see in his many full DVD videos...
He did say about the energy and the matter and the atom thing. And he was asking abt the karma then he said its not only karma what causes birth everytime.

🙏..Being a good teacher one must not offend other teachers teachings too.. No one say "Shut Up and Do Vipassana.. every knowledge+food+water+stay is served.. without paying a penny .. Vipassana I can say is the only teaching which is taught till date in Daana Form/Manner..No business is in this teaching/teacher..which helps to purify your mind and body.. No puja, bath can purify us or our karma.. its a blessed path 🙏 one who gets it"..But giving wrong info to the world and the teasing way and in some interviews Sadguru did conveyed of proving Shiva greater than Buddha.. its a foolishness way of conveying message.. why good teacher Sadguru wants merits for his teachings by comparing others here.. Just this Our Nation needs Dharma/Dhamma true teaching that Bonds Everyone with love and care live with happiness in one's own life fighting all kinds of ups and downs suffering..
Can anyones See's or senses Dhamma Chakra in our Indian National Flag (not trishul its a part of knowledge..🙏)..Do anyone know the true values of the Eightfold path one should carry in their life.. this message was conveyed by the great ruler Ashoka(Ashoka Chakra which is nothing But Dhamma Chakra) who was really a devotee of Buddhas teaching..
After transformation he showered by the Deeds he did for his country fellow's And applied throughout his life..bravery gratitude life🙏
In earlier days everyone used sign/symbolic way to make concept/values to convey to everyone including lay people.. But thru Shiva: mythologically story depicting murthy which Symbolised of a Humanbeing conveyed 'Earth sky water is of Blue colour and his third closed eye depicted everyone follow Meditation : to get mukti, Shiva was a great meditator his third closed eye symbolise Dyaana wrongly conveyed used to hurt as said to opened to burn..still many more knowledge behind)..
One shouldn’t mock if he is unable to generate love for others 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Also vipassana doesn’t mean “no questions”. It means seeing (experiencing) things as it is.
So, at least refrain from spreading lies. It will only affect you badly. If you keep spreading lies and be hateful you will become a person of rotten psyche.

Sadhguru very cleverly evaded answering the question
Yep.
What a brilliant question that guy asked. It’s a genuine question. And why is Sadhguru replying this way. He didn’t even answer as per the context.
He did not crticize vippasana , even at last he said it is designed in a way , thay will help you !

During Vipassana there were thousands of questions came and gone but Goenka ji asked us to observe the question never asked us to get rid of by using craving and aversion just to observe
There is a lot of discomforts and strange emotions comes into surface which is accumulated over time since we born
In Vipassana emotions come to provoke Rag, Desh but if we stick to guruji's teaching who ask us restrain to show Rag Desh and observe the main thing like seeing breath and sensation below the nostrils in Anapana and later observing sensation over our whole body from head to feat or feat to head

Moreover, the word ‘Ram’ is again something of the mind, and anything of the mind can never lead you beyond the mind
.Buddha discovered a totally different angle: just watch your breath - the breath coming in, the breath going out.
Slowly, slowly, less and less mind interferes
.And when you can watch your breath for forty-eight minutes as a continuum, you will become enlightened.
Your whole consciousness has to be on one point; watching
.And if you can watch your breath then you can start watching other things too.

Not much of the twenty minutes, was about Vipassana.
Vipassana gave me the ultimate result, cleared 90% of my sankara within 10 days if one has to work really hard
How you make fun of a question and often insult people in public...that's the differance between Vipassana and Inner engineering practice..
You didn't get.
being playful is not insulting.... if you are taking it as a insult u are dead serious about your life ... bring joy into it
By saying no question he meant no mind chattering
Please, persons critical of Sadguru's answer, Please listen once again. He has answered it in all different angles, including the questioners angle
Sadhguru is always playful and joking around a bit and I love that about him 😃
but Vipassana really means "to see things as they really are" and you are of course allowed to ask questions, but there is a lot more focus on the practice of meditation, because that is the only thing that will bring us results and eventually also the answers to our questions 😊
Its alright sadguru... You carry on with your logics... But dont spread any false information.. get well soon..

Enlightenment is not solving the mystery of life by asking question triggered intellectually and knowing an answer as told by others. It's dissolving Saṅkhāra (Pali; सङ्खार; Sanskrit: संस्कार or saṃskāra).

I have done this course, sorry sadhguru you have assumptions about vipassana
I used to hear lots of Sadgurus discourse..then did vipassana 10 day course.....It really changed the way i see things.....
Vipassana is purely scientific.
One should do himself/ herself and observe the changes happens in ONE OWN SELF. It is not to read, but observe mind and body connection by DOING it. It's sacred process
