What if Smash Bros. 64's beta was released? (Melee Mod)

What if Sakurai's initial platform fighting experiment was released to the public? In its earliest form, it may have played like 4 Captain Falcons.
I used a variety of Melee mods and some video editing trickery to show what a prototype of Super Smash Bros. on Nintendo 64 may have looked like if it was released.

I can also tell you the stage doesn't render properly on console. I tested on a Wii. I'm sure with some proper edits it can function.

@@davidvkimball TBH I unironically want him, developers should embrace fans’ fondness for what gets left in the cutting room floor. The more we normalize devs sharing WIP material with us the better. Although DK Fighter wouldn’t work because he’s way too unfinished. Maybe they worked on his design some more and we haven’t seen the concept art.

Yes, it should be! I couldn't easily get them to work in the mod I was using so I had to forgo them for this video. Good catch though. :)
Probably should have the japanese SFX instead for authenticity
