While I’m Brooklyn born, I cannot lie my mom moving us to Staten Island back in 2009 was probably the best thing she could’ve done. When I’m in Brooklyn my citizen app goes CRQZY with crime. When I’m in Staten Island it barely goes off. And if it does it’s like “gas odor”

It may have a large Italian American population, but it is also known as being mobbed up! FACT!! Also, it takes an hour and a half to get the hell off the island! I'll stay in Manhattan! ❤
@@bruhbutwhythoI was gonna say that’s cheap! Here in end of queens near Long Island it’s $2000 for a one bedroom $3000 for a three bedroom. And the queens near the city like Astoria It’s 2000 for a studio 😅

I don't drive and have no problems traveling.
You can live on SI without a car, but it’s way easier with one.

Not my experience. Born on SI, live in LA, got a nice 1BR with laundry and garage for $1750. Quiet, quiet block, nice neighbors, awesome weather.

How can Staten Island be the "greenest" borough if it's so car-dependent?
Greenest as in vegetation
It have nothing to do with cars,it related to amount of park land SI have.
It's still way more congested in Brooklyn and Manhattan as far as cars go.
