Going to rewatch this a bunch! Thanks for posting. I'm learning to snowboard here in east Canada with a friend who is a CASI instructor. He told me my rear foot keeps swinging out when I try and link turns and that it's a bad habit I should get rid of. He said I should focus on having the board straight/point down the hill and then turn because I'm swinging my rear foot to try and go from edge to edge immediately. I knew what he was saying but tried googling and couldn't find the right words. Now I know it's pivoting and I should be tilting instead! Going to keep working on it but love snowboarding already and hope to continue this hobby for years to come! Cheers.
How do we request a video? The other thing I'm really struggling with is that sometimes I switch to heelside and I feel the board chattering or side slipping? I won't feel in control and feel like I'm hopping of sorts? No issue toe side, I've been told I don't bend my knees enough but is there anything else? Anyways sorry for the long wall of text haha great vid, new subscriber :)
