Wilma goes GREEN at horse show + Foal moving day!

- A bit of a random video for you today, everyone, but the weather was so terrible over the weekend that everything has been lumped into one vlog. We start by taking Wilma to Dallas Burston for some more arena eventing. I think the combination of a bigger atmosphere and a storm meant that she went a little green on me. As a result, I didn't ride her my best, and we just had a bit of an unrhythmical ride. Still, it was all a great learning experience, and we had a special guest, Freddy Steele, who stood in as top groom... I don't know if I will be giving him the full-time job yet.
The next day, we finally had some sun, which meant it was time to do the big foal move in preparation for Bear coming home. We have managed to find a new home for them, and it's closer than we could have ever hoped!

For someone who claims not to know about jumping Freddy knows a lot about jumping! Well done Meg, she looks much more relaxed than at the last one, like she’s starting to figure it out.

I swear I could watch your horses trotting around a field for HOURS. Just a 3 hour long field cam staring at their form and observing their behaviors would keep me fully entertained 😭❤

Freddie’s commentary was so lovely to hear! It’s so great to hear from a behavioural perspective instead of a competitive rider approach, such a different yet effective perspective, definitely a good groom for you Meg hehe!!

So happy to see things going well. Ari at least has companions. I'm sooooo sorry that Ari can't compete. He would have been brilliant. Is there any chance at all that his situation has changed? At least he is living the high life. Regardless I'm sad. Obviously not as bad as Meg and Hobbit. More so Ari. If only.......Love you all and all you do for your ponies. Freddie is far from clueless. He's the best horseman there. Horsemanship is the root of every equine sport. He was just being humble.

many MANY years ago I was lucky enough to have a horse that you just pointed at the jump and let him sort it out, if you tried to interfere he'd panic and we'd both mess up 😅
