Hey just a heads up, if you're wanting to do a overnight trip with your pilot or Pro you can always buy a dry bag or two, to put your tent, sleeping bag, food, etc. I have the Pro 120 and will be doing a lot of overnighters down the Colorado River in AZ this year. It has worked great for me so far.
The open tank wells front and back on the Pro 120 are actually better for hauling gear than a boat with closed hatches, which limit the size and shape of the stuff you can put inside. Also, more hatches mean more openings for water to get into the hull. Dry bags are our friends.
I’m about to purchase the 120 pro with the primary use being river camping along the black water river in Florida and secondary fishing. After owning a sit in, this will be much better for storing camping gear for the exact reason op said, don’t have to worry much about shape or size and dry bags are very much so our friends! Earth pak has some good ones.
I think you did a good job on your honest review. I have a wilderness atak 140 but need a pedal drive & this will be my choice. I do a lot of bay fishing so i think this will do the trick
Just heads up perception stopped sales temporarily to fix the prop issues and some mount issues (stiff pin/rubber washer problems). They're sending out kits free of charge to those who purchased units already. Starboard port there's a serial #, rub a little chalk into it and snap a pic. Contact your dealer or go to a local yak shop that sells perception (like I did) and they can get right on the line with perception and they'll send the kit to your home

Bought a Pro 120 a couple weeks ago for doing skinnier water. Love the thing. More front real estate than my Santa Cruz (a BTB boat) and way lighter and less expensive than most big name boats. Check my latest video. I came up with a DYI'd a fish finder bridge you might be interested in. Mounts on the tracks.
That 10 foot Pro, would you be worried if a large 30 pound striper slammed your bass lure? I am trying to decide between the 10 foot and 12 foot pro. Primarly for small waters and creeks chasing monster fish (flathead catfish) and occasional small river fishing for Stripers and Blue cats. 100 pound fish is possible but some of my creeks are 8 foot wide and hard to get to.

Hey man, I have a pilot as well but when I took it out for the first time and pedaled forward, the boat went backwards. Which way does your prop spin when you pedal forward? Thanks man!!!

I got both new for a grand at a end of summer sale. Only different was the pedal kayak I got in blue. Love them both

call your local dealer and/or place you bought em from - maybe switch prop 180 degrees
