96 Road King, same problem. I'm going to Harley in Chattanooga today, swinging by ACE on the way {thanks to you}. This makes more sense than anything else. Thanks from an old jarhead! Semper Fi.

Nice fix for an annoying problem and thanks for sharing. The Harley dealerships are mostly useless for finding solutions to common problems. John

I have the same issue on a 99 fat boy, i'm hoping that spring will solve my problem.. But don't know as of yet. Until I look into the brake configuration to see if it's a similar design that the Spring will work.

You gotta like it when a regular Joe does the work and gets the job done for engineers, Harley on your behalf should donate to the Vet fund as thanks for saving them a crap load.
    cheers Bro

Well, I was hoping to be another testimonial to this video. Unfortunately my ‘98 Dyna has a bit different design about the brake caliper. The spring was a no-go for me. Any suggestions?

My apologies but that’s how HD changed things around. Not familiar with your brakes but if you’re mechanically inclined I hope you figure it out. Safe ride.

Hey.. love the vid.. I'm getting a duck quacking sound ... Is that the sound? It's usually after I use my front break taking a turn

Yes… this simple light spring eliminated the nosiness while off the brake and in motion.

I have tried getting the spring but they do not seem to have it in stock. Do you have a shortcut for it
