  • How to remove a wood floor transition which is glued down.
Are you pulling out old carpet and replacing it with tile, laminate, cork, or other? You'll need to remove these transitions in order to install your new floor.
The tool used is a Stanley Pry Bar, similar to model STHT55530

You left out the most useful "magic" of the video.

For anyone that can’t find the tool and is reading comments you can use a trim puller too. I’ve used a “zenith trim puller mini” works great for trim, paneling and this.

Great vid. Is the T moldings usually not glued to the track? I have to remove 3 T moldings from 3 doors at my friend’s apartment. I will try to pry it with a putty knife or a small pry tool. It should snap out. I should clarify, that your video did not show the kind that the T molding snaps into a metal track ( which is glued to the floor concrete or whatever floor). Thank you for this.

I recommend just "having kids". They will rip it up in no time, whether you want them to or not...
