    Great video Kyle, especially the picking of the weeds and not always throwing herbicides down. 👊🌴😎

    Great tips Kyle! For small dandelion populations I always hand pull. If I get a takeover then I bust out the herbicides. My lawn is looking great so far coming out of winter, did some dethatching yesterday witha new dethatcher I got

    I like these channels that focus back on natural weed control like cutting more often, and focused on soil and nutrients for a strong lawn. People get carried away with Chems and really have no idea how bad that stuff is for your ecosystem in your lawn. Not to mention if you have kids or pets. They also don't focus on PPE enough for box store bought brands which is is astonishing if you think about the fact that hair dryer's have a label telling the population not to use in the shower ...
    Anyways, great vid and information. You're becoming one of my top go to channels, along with *Budget Lawns* , *DOC* (before all the product push) *Lawn Mechanic* and *BYD*

      😂 Thank you Friedrich! My goal for this channel is just to let people know all the stuff I wish I had known when I first started Working on my lawn. I appreciate you following along and your kind comment. I agree, too many people dump way too many chemicals and don’t think about the impact they have.

    Im glad you hit on the fact that you need to be sure your lawn is wet when your put down a weed and feed, I may have left that important information out, but then again, if you are reading the label, which you should be doing anyways, you should be good to go. A fun way to kill weeds on the side walk or driveway is the good ole weed torch! just gives some fun satisfaction! lol

    I always cringe when I see the water body hugging that fine turf. Kudos for not doing harsh chemical treatments for weeds near that water.
    2 questions. How accurate is that photo IID app? Do you have any experience killing wild Bermuda grass in a tall fescue lawn? I really don’t have the patience to go nuclear on the lawn and start from scratch.
    Love the t-shirt. I want one

    • @lakehouselawncare1755
      @lakehouselawncare1755  2 роки тому

      Thank you, Blue Jay! I’m not exactly sure the % of accuracy with the app. For your wild Bermuda, there is a post-emergent called Fusilade II that you can use. I’m in the process of ordering t-shirts. Once they come in, I will let you know. Thanks!

    hardly noticeable but there are some bright spots in the lawn, is that from tenacity, or is that potentially poa?

    • @lakehouselawncare1755
      @lakehouselawncare1755  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching! I’ve never used tenacity in my lawn. I think that’s new grass that is still not mature yet and is lighter green still. I do have a couple spots of poa I’m going to cut out this spring.
