Nick quit his 16 year "career" as as a District Manager for Journeys shoes in August 2019, and while he worked to scale The Jump Off, he drove uber, sold trash that he found on the side of the road, and picked up as many odd jobs (like building swing sets) as he could.
Then in late 2019, Nick hit "The Bounce House lottery" (nickglassett.c...) and when the pandemic shut everything down in 2020, he sprung into action and took that moment to make The Jump Off what it is today!

We are just starting our business! Your videos have been super helpful thank you! Do you have a dolly that you recommend for beginners? We’re starting out super small and we’re trying not to spend a ton on a dolly right now.

We’re working on that! Not sure if it’s going to happen this season though
Why not load up the day before? And another question, why not have a big ass warehouse where you can store your rentals and then another half where you have an indoor inflatable world if you will? You can host parties etc. That way your warehouse not only is it used for storage but also brings in money. Weve thought bout doing that.
Where we gonna put 3 16ft trailers on Friday night, it only takes 45-60 mins in the morning and you’re already going to working anyways, and then you gotta have the crew come in on Friday when they aren’t working.
Q2. I don’t want to run and manage an indoor center. Not saying they are BAD but not something I want to do. It’s a weekend business mostly and I like running trucks and dropping off not running the whole ass party 😂

They only work when there is work, which Fridays are not busy until May June July Aug. BUT I’m going to start having the Sat units pulled off the racks for loading up Sat morning pulling with the forklift is a lot

Yeah, semi commercial. You can rent but have to limit the number of kids and it will wear out faster. Don’t buy them if you want to rent buy real stuff

@@nick_o_glass one more thing have you heard of the newer “Duralite Vinyl” it’s supposed to still be commercial grade but much more lightweight. I’m a bit nervous to purchase though due to concern of quality ! Thanks for responding man and keep grinding !
You’ll be fine! Won’t last as long but that’s OK because it’s cheaper and easier to move.

Lots of factors to decide on but Magic Jump, HEC, Jump Orange are my fav 3. Sunnfun and Big and Bright are new companies that are making waves already and I like both a lot so far!
