The bounce house in the video was bought used for $400 with anchors, blower, and sand bags. It was manufactured by Magic Jump sometime between 2007 and 2010 and is in INCREDIBLE shape!

Nick quit his 16 year "career" as as a District Manager for Journeys shoes in August 2019, and while he worked to scale The Jump Off, he drove uber, sold trash that he found on the side of the road, and picked up as many odd jobs (like building swing sets) as he could.
Then in late 2019, Nick hit "The Bounce House lottery" (nickglassett.c...) and when the pandemic shut everything down in 2020, he sprung into action and took that moment to make The Jump Off what it is today!

I was burned on a 19' slide by a guy with the best disposition. Had no idea what I was looking at. He took me inside and said "Check this out, I cut these huge holes in the baffles for better access throughout" as if it was a great thing. I bought it. Turns out, that destroyed the integrity, and several of the tension straps had busted. I tried fixing by sewing the straps back myself. They held fine, but the fabric on some of the baffles split and I wasn't equipped to replace those. He knew I was starting out, and couldn't afford to be burned. People really need to do their due diligence before buying used. You can't trust anyone.
Yep shitty story but great lesson!
My guy , as always good video and very informative
Thank you!!
Hey bro, I am a huge fan of you. I would like to ask if you can do a video for the fans. Record the outside of the bounce house to test it and record from this angle in 0:04 just to show us 👍🏻
Thanks for watching! What would I be testing the bounce house for?
@nick_o_glass it's durability and how strong they are. How rough is the use
😂😂😂
Hey I’m a big fan of you to I was wondering if you can show us the other bouncers you got?
Thank you! itsTheJumpOff.com
Awesome video. At what point do you sell your units? Or you holding into them till the bitter end? Lol
We do yeah lol. People sell early to get more money out of the sale. I sell late to get more money renting!
After buying 3 I now come to see this video 😂
I would like your input about buying a bouncy castle business from someone else
Do it if the equipment is in good condition, the google business profile has good reviews, and if the website ranks well.
how long should used units last?
Would you buy a 3 year old unit that had a very small hole in the bed ? It's a good price & in otherwise good condition.
How do you get the manuals for these used bouncers ? My state seems to require them at inspections
Email the manufacturer
How do we get a test bottle of that cleaner ? 😜
I’ll have some for sale soonish!
Hello, it is March 30th. I was just curious if they're a to fix an area that has like been worn thin.? From being folded or just from the use. Is there a way to fix that without having to do a whole patch?
Worn thin??? That’s not a thing to my knowledge so idk what the move is.
Would a jumping caste with slide and pool attachemnt need 2 blowers? There a guy selling his for 500 with 2 blowers. I thought 2 blowers is a good thing till i heard you mention it but it kinda confused melol
hell. no. 2 blowers is a no go unless he pays you $500 haha
Why bro I am also a huge fan would u sell me this unit for me I need one
@@partyfavorbouncycastlefan6639 yea
If we weren’t working on expanding into a new city I would! We’re buying a ton right now for that.
Thanks for the info! How much would someone spend on something like that age condition size?
Good question! Depends but $600 ish?
@@nick_o_glass Thank you!
Quick question do you know how much is it if I want to rent one for a week because I’m thinking about inviting some of my friends to my house to do a sleepover in a bounce house in my backyard
Depends on the company you rent from, but a whole week would be EXPENSIVE. Most companies have a weekend deal.
@@nick_o_glasslol
Can you do einflatables next please because I’m planning on getting a used einflatables bounce house
