Obviously I remember Dave since Nirvana and Queens Of The Stone age, but the earliest vivid memory I have of The Foo Fighters is that video they did for Big Me where they did the little Mentos commercials parody lol.

I was working in the music shop when Dave released the debut self titled album (which he recorded all himself, instruments the lot). We got a bunch because he was the ex Nirvana drummer, but the album was selling on it's own merits and one guy didn't believe me that they guy behind Foo Fighters was the Nirvana ex drummer stating, I quote " he can't be the drummer from Nirvana... he had long hair..." 😂
You’ve reminded me how old I am, damn, the first time I saw Grohl was when he was a baby drumming for Scream, then Nirvana. Been on the Foo Fighters train for 26 years. Take a deep dive, you won’t regret it.

Loved them from the beginning. I remember Kurt had just died and his band Nirvana collapsed. Soon after a very young Dave who was the legendary drummer for their group resurfaced with his own new name called Foo Fighters. What shocked everyone to their core that he had made the entire album on his own, played every instrument, layered his own lyrics and everything. His name took off and he gathered an amazing group of other musicians and went about making his second album. The Story grew from there.
The first time I heard of the Foo Fighters was in the late 90's when "Learn to Fly" came out. Loved that song and the video too. Very different to see a comedic music video at the time.
Been listening to them since the first album. Dave played everything on that one.
I only learned of the band, this song particularly, cause I was in marching band and one year we did a rock show themed halftime performance. This was the first some we played in our lineup and I loved it. One of my favorite halftimes we did.

SHE TALKS TO ANGELS by The Black Crows and EVERLONG by the Foo Fighters are my two most favorite songs of all time. EVERLONG was written by Dave Grohl about his ex and is credited with being their big break. Somehow it reaches in and grabs your soul. You’ll see....

I was introduced to Foo Fighters in the 90’s, when they released the video for Everlong. I’ve been a fan ever since. And I loved them even more after I realized that Dave Grohl was also the drummer for Nirvana.
I followed all the hits before, but this song was the first time I ran out to buy one of their albums. I'm 48, so I've been there from the beginning.

I was super into grunge in high school and was a nirvana fan, so pretty much since they came out. A few years ago my dad heard them on one of the late night shows. He liked them and asked me, "have you ever listened to this band, the food fighters?" 😂 I was like,"yeah dad, I've been listening to the food fighters for about 20 years."

Been fan of the Foo Fighters since the debut on 1995. Good catchy songs, but hadn't checked out the last two or three Foo albums. One of the few bands from the 90s that haven't stopped touring even with changing lineups.

Dave Grohl is a force in the music industry! Been a fan since Nirvana. And he is ALL about his fans! Fell off stage once, 2 songs into the show, told the band to keep playing, told the crowd he’d be back, a Dr. set his leg, popped his ankle back into place and sit in front of him on stage so he could do the 2 hour show. Check out Best of You, Everlong, Days like these, My hero.

I'm only 17, I first heard Foo Fighters when I was probably 7 in my dads truck, but i didn't know who they were or really start listening to them until I was 15, but I've been listening to Nirvana since I was 5, I've always liked them
First heard the Foos in 1995 when the first album came out and then I saw them play at King's Collage, London in June '95. Been a fan ever since. Met the guys a number of times since and been to countless gigs. Was at the 20th Anniversary show at RFK Stadium in DC in 2015 and have every intention of being at the 25th Anniversary show (whenever that is announced) next year. As someone is known to say "Are you f***ing ready?" - hell, yea!

Prince introduced me to the Foo Fighters Via 2007 Super bowl, But Dave Grohl really sealed the deal when he fell off stage and broke his leg during a show in 2015 ...went to the hospital Got his leg “fixed”and got back on stage to finish the show while a doctor was holding his broken leg for the cast to finish setting. Hero status achieved.

I discovered Foo Fighters because I was a huge Nirvana fan! Dave Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana! So I checked them out!! Was a fan from day one! You should react to the Foo’s videos!! Some of them are hilarious! Big Me was a spoof of the Mentos commercials from the 90s and Learning To Fly they play all the different characters with a cameo from Tenacious D!!

One of my favorites of theirs. Another song of theirs with a CRAZY video is Run. And Everlong is one of the most beautiful songs with lyrics like “breath out so I can breath you in”. One other good one to react to would be The Sky is a Neighborhood.

I started listening to them after Kurt Cobain died, and Nirvana,wasn't no more, then Dave and Pat Smear, from Nirvana was now In Dave Grohls Foo Fighters. I held a grudge for a minute, but I realized that life goes on. Had he never started his own band, we would never have known what a great front man he was,and guitarist, plus the drums. He became one hell of a talent.

Dave Grohl really is a good guy. During the wildfires in California he gets out there and barbecues for the firefighters and all. Also a few years ago he fell off the stage at a concert and broke his foot but got back on stage and finished the concert while a doctor from the crowd held his foot saving it.

Been listening to Dave Grohl since The Nirvana days. I don't listen to The Foo Fighters everyday or anything but they have some great songs and albums. I love The song Dear Rosemary from The Wasting Light album. The whole album is great.
