How big is your gray tank and where is it located? Getting ready to help my son do his first van build and we are looking at a set up similar to yours. Great build. Nice quality in the work.
It’s shown in this video, it’s 9 gallons Missing Parts of Van Tour // UNDERBELLY OF THE BEAST! ua-cam.com/video/PMH7zhwbs-4/v-deo.html
Vl
Trent, have a question if the gray water is 9 and the drinking water is 33 gallons as you mentioned in another video, so you just drain out the shower water o what? shouldn´t you have a larger gray tank that drinking water??
Just Reggie Warner
@@TrentandAllie yikes. Guess you guys are draining straight down to ground mostly? I mean 8 don't really know much and am just learning but it seemed oddly small. I do think the van is absolutely brilliant.
....and after four or five years, this is still just about the best van build I've seen.....overtaken only by your new design at Mountain Made Vans. love you guys
Safety tip: add locking mechanism on the inside of all your doors that you can lock while sleeping. If they get past your door lock, they still can't get in.
That's a great idea!
That's the second build but they still carry varius size pans..... Nonsense.... Even the dog is bored!!!
I am really surprised that people show the outside of their van when they are distinctive and thus easy to identify and target.
@@pacoporras8726 well it seems that only having built 2 vans they are Experienced hahah
Is this really a problem?!?!
stationary bed, oven, shower and toilet!??! HOT WATER?!?!!??...you've just changed my van life dreams. I plan to one day steal this exact setup!
More than glad to help you design your dream and I hope you steal our set up one day!!! We also hope you enjoy it as much as we do!! Stick around and join our community and check out our future travels!!!
Just be careful that it doesn't have a GPS tracker when you steal it, otherwise you might have a pork-chopper buzzing overhead.
@Ms Wonderfulgem Was your reply to my comment necessary?
Look, every time we comment, like/dislike or share any of this content.. it all aids their channel. It's all in good fun.. try not to get bent out of shape about anything online. You'll live happier and hopefully longer life.
Ms Wonderfulgem, pretty sure it was just levity. A joke. Lighthearted comment intended to entertain. I remember when we humans used to employ that conversation tool all the time. We laughed a lot more then. It was refreshing.
This is really one well thought Van house construction. Good planing is all it is needed. Good luck with yours ;)
It's 2024 and I've been watching y'all build your house and family. This is sweet nostalgia 😍
Ok. My wife and I are empty nesters (55 yrs old) and you two are probably younger than our 2 adult sons, which puts us a least a generation in front of you. But, with a few changes here and there to your van build, I would say, it is one of the best camper van builds we have seen yet for my wife and I. I mention the generation difference because your design would work just as well for us old farts as it does for you young adults. Even the dog is accommodated! I would say the design uses available space efficiently and elegantly. No unnecessary frills but plenty of functionality and it's comfortable! We are very impressed. Awesome! Thank you for sharing.

Wow! I am a 62 yr old women and I have been viewing a lot of van conversions to see what I want mine to look like. However out of a ton of van videos this was the absolute best!! Exactly what I would do. I saved your video to refer to. Great job guys and one last thing.. good video of everything you did. PS... I love your dog!
Good luck with your project!
That's what I was thinking!
Stop thinking about it,just do it..fear nothing...all you got at the end of life,is just your memories.
We just watched this on a Roku TV. I was so taken with the Incredible job you did I got on my phone just so I could comment. We're fulltimers in a class A and this is every bit as functional, beautiful & classy as any motorhome. You've far surpassed any van build I've ever seen. The two of you should be very proud of yourselves. Kudos👍🏻
Thank you so much Nancy! That really means a lot and we’re so glad to have you as part of our community. We hope you come along for more of our adventures.
Here's an old Navy/USMC trick for clothing storage. Instead of "folding" clothes up, roll them into tubes, you'll find you can get nearly twice as much into the same space as you can if you flat fold your clothes.
That large slide out table that comes from right under the matress between the two facing seats is genius. That was a definite 'wow' moment when you slid that out. Great design.
The other wow moment was when he brought out that hanging drawer and shelf unit from the shower and hooked it to the shelf.
I'd say another wow was showing how the bikes fit in the garage (along with all the other equipment).
I can honestly say that this is by far the most awesome van I have ever seen. I would live in it today if I had one. You did an amazing job and give hope that you don't have to live in a make shift environment but can really customize your living space in a way that you are not without comfort.
Thank you Su that’s so nice of you
@@TrentandAllie are you guys planning on kids soon, 6 should be cosy 🤣 *jokes
🚲 Happy travels 🚐
Exactly what I was thinking
This is one of, if not, the best van build I've seen to date! Great job! Great use of space!
I agree Reynard
Reynard Mauricio Sara & Alex , the y are building a new van, its awesome, take a look
Thank you Reynard!! That puts smiles on our faces :)
Excellent!
Wow. Just wow. Great couple. Excellent tour and reno. Looking forward to more. Liked, subscribed, and belled. 😊
Frank’s drawer for his stuff - his family grew and grew and continues to grow - pretty cool from the dog’s point of view. God Bless Frank - sweetheart companion.
This is the best van conversion I have ever seen. Hands Down. I have to share it with my other youtubers. You guys forgot nothing and kept every detail in mind.
Thanks K M!! That’s such a nice comment to receive. Thank you
Agree with Desert Pepper comment, best build I seen for a van.
Allie, you are so correct on being realist on having books to air out clothes for a 2 or 3 time use.
I highly recommend you check out cycle cruza's van it been voted the best van (with out a built in shower)
I agree. I watch many vids on these conversions and so far this is the best one for this size van. Love it!
thank you for not putting annoying music in the background.

Finally! An indoor shower and toilet, love it. Wonderful design overall! Omg a laundry chute? Brilliant! Also love the li'l doggy!
Where was the toilet? Did I miss it?
@@quantessenz its right at the beginning of the video
Almost 2 yrs ago, I stumbled upon your adventures. Every day I would dream of one day being able to live a simple lifestyle and enjoy all the U.S. has in store for us. All the little nooks and cranny's of our wonderful country. My dreams were the same layout and colors and exact same must haves. My husband was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and I felt our world fall apart. We may not be able to live our dream and may even have to give up our current home but watching every single one of your adventures have been so real to me. The things I got to see through your eyes and the wonderful drone footage has given me many smiles. I've lived my dream through you and I'm extremely and eternally grateful to have had these amazing videos to watch. Thank you.
Probably the best most efficient use of space of a van I have ever seen.
You should make the countertop over the stove slide on tracks to the right instead of flipping up, that way you can still use it while cooking ! cool van though...
Thanks moose!! I wanted to try and do that but we couldn’t do it in a way that made it functional and durable. We do have another piece of counter top that goes over the bench to the right of the stove though so we can use that area to prep while cooking
TNT MTB yeah, most of the sliding track in local stores is junk. They sell the industrial type which is made for this but you have to order it. I used it on the slide out pantry shelves in my bus, it can hold over 100lbs. Your sprinter is one of the nicer ones I've seen, enjoy it ! Good luck !
Or, you can just use the pull-out-table to the right i guess :D
This video shows our solution :) ua-cam.com/video/hCT7iv7cQU4/v-deo.html
On top of that, it’s also hiding the spice rack as you cook.
Very nice work. You might consider on your next build to round off all the corners with a router. I once got a serious cut on the edge of a cabinet when I was in the back of our class C RV and she had to hit the brakes unexpectedly. It required a hospital visit. Also, catalytic heaters use considerably less fuel than forced air heating. You can get a version that uses outside air for burning and venting so they are totally safe. One last thing. Everywhere hot water is used in our RV, I installed a three-way valve, temperature gauge and a line to run water back to the main water tank so that while the water is coming up to temp it is flowing back to the main tank and not into the waste tank. I installed the three way valve right next to the shower head so when showering, the water coming out of the shower head is always the perfect temp with no water waste. We were able to extend our wilderness stays by a few days with the water saved. Once again, really nice work.
thanks! these are great tips we'll consider for next time!
the three-way valve idea is simply genius
This is probably the best practical Van build I have seen yet.
I’ve seen over 100 van conversations, and by far yours knocks it out of the park! Amazing, I’m retiring in two years and once I sell the house I’m hitting the road! To live the Van life 😎Thank you for sharing your talent ❤️
I would've gone with slides for the wood panel that goes over the stove. Slide that to the side so you still have a counter while using the stove as well as not blocking the spice rack.
Herman S great idea! I like that. I also thought that something fireproof on the backside of the counter. I have to start an idea book with these great ideas I come across. Not that I’m going to have anything this fab. But you never know.
Exactly!
I thought the same thing!
I also thought the same thing. They could have still used it as a working counter top.
I was thinking the same thing
One of the best van lay outs I’ve seen. Retailers need to do it this way! Permanent bed. Nook dining. all great, great storage outside too!
Allie, when you showed your stove top & oven I thought,” there’s a girl after my own heart! “ So many RVer’s are so against having an oven!! I love my oven, so I think
you’re awesome!! Great video!😊
Best feature: the slide out table!!! Excellent idea!
Thanks Terry!! It seemed like the option that was gonna Work the best for us!! Thanks for watching 😊

Just a van, yet it feels like a small apartment in NYC, incredibly well designed great use of technology...Wish I could buy one just like it tomorrow...Great job, ENJOY!!!
Im a truck driver, and i like to watch these videos for fun, but in all honesty, you need to go to truck manufacturers and help them design the inside of these trucks. Every truck driver alive would thank you profusely.
Better of trying to get a new job, the truck drivers will be out of there jobs when the self driving AI takes over.
@@wanashthegash No, we will not be. I dont really want to get into the specifics of it(i'm honestly tired of arguing about this with people who are ignorant to this job world) just know, that I, as an experienced truck driver, do know better than the average Joe wheather or not we should be "scared" of losing our jobs to "AI". And we should not be. Here is a short semi-informational video for you to watch. He hits on a few reasons of why this isnt an issue.
facebook.com/GlennBeck/videos/483502655762316/
Nikkiye Dettle Yeah? I listened to what Beck said, but I didn't hear him explain how truck driving as a profession is somehow safe from autonomy.
He explained how vital the trucking industry is to pretty much every other industry and all retail. He explained how there's currently a shortage of drivers.
But when true autonomy finally gets here it's going to first take all those jobs that can't be filled, then gradually all the other driving jobs as well, as trucks are replaced or retrofitted for autonomy.
A lot of delivery truck drivers will be able to keep their jobs because the job involves unloading and delivering goods, and sometimes even stocking shelves as well as just driving. Movers will still have their jobs because most of their work is moving furniture in and out of the truck. But any job that just involves driving is likely to eventually go away.
BTW: Beck says something stupid when he says grocery stores are restocked 8 times per day. Grocery stores may receive on average about 8 deliveries per day, but none of them are complete restocking shipments. No one item in the store is restocked more than once per day. Your milk delivery comes on a different truck from your Frito Lay snacks, and the Coke delivery comes in the different truck from your Pepsi products. Your breads are stocked by a different truck than your meats and vegetables and canned goods.
@@dlwatib - In the UK many roads are narrow single track lanes/roads which require reversing back to a passing spot, awkward entrances which require special maneuvers and getting out of the cab or asking another person to spot for you with parked cars preventing the maneuver etc. AI is nowhere near capable of dealing with these situations and would cause gridlock or accidents. Don't believe all the hype.
Nikkiye Dettle I’m an iso tank dispatcher... You ain’t never lied my drivers would totally agree.
I started following you guys in early 2020 and the difference in quality of your videos now versus then (2018) is striking! I see the basis for the standards you were setting back then and it's been such a large improvement since. Allie has become the pro in production. Trent hasn't really changed that much and he's great at describing whatever he's pointing at!
… that depends on who’s listening I guess because I can’t listen to Trent for more than a few seconds, I’ve got adhd and listening to Trent is like torture, I love their videos but have to skip through when Trent talks as it’s too painful to listen to, it’s like he takes forever to get to a point or to say what he’s saying and it’s almost like he’s nodding off from heroin he’s going so slow but yeah, as would be expected, the quality of their videos have increased in all ways but it would be very weird if they didn’t, so Trent is too painful (for me) to listen to but I enjoy their videos and following their adventures
Looking Good. It's great to see young people with a good head on their shoulder that doesn't just buy everything; but instead Makes their own way in life.
I agree!! So many people today only buy nice things and never try to create what they want
This was truly amazing. You've optimized every square inch, to your needs. Everything is in the details. The functionality and beauty of your build is stellar. Great job. Look forward to watching your adventures.
Glad to have you along for the adventures!! I hope you enjoy being part of the TNT community!! Also, thank you for your kind words. They really warm out hearts!!
That van is gorgeous...! Great job guys. The best van I have seen I think. Right up there. Mad skills!
Thanks!! We tried to make it to the best we had ever seen!
Could you say what color the blue paint is? You did a superb job on the build.

it's called skinny jeans. It's behr marquee paint semi gloss
I've never seen a better one, and I've been looking! Awesome job and inspiring guys.
I'm officially hooked. Old lady living vicariously through y'all!! I decided to go back to the beginning and am SO very impressed with the way you have grown! I love the early episodes but it's been so much fun watching the way you've become so amazingly professional. Keep 'em coming!!
This is actually the best layout and build I've seen on any Van. I love that you have a toilet/shower in a 19.6' Van, the same length as the Sprinter 144" I believe. Any reason why you chose the ProMaster over the Sprinter? This really is a masterpiece. Well done!
Thank you so much Johnny for your kind words. It came down to cost, reliability and easy of repairs. Sprinters cost too much upfront and are too expensive to fix, plus they break down a lot haha
I think you just swayed me from wanting to get a Sprinter to wanting a ProMaster. Thanks!
Glad to help :)
my promaster gets 19.5 mpg
Good for you. The Sprinter is toooo expensive. Your setup looks 10× better than ANY Sprinter (or anything else) that I have ever seen.
This is the best looking and most thought out/ organized van I have ever seen! I am super impressed with what you two have done with this small space!
Thank you!! That means a lot :)
I like the flat dog on the bed while Trent was talking
Allie has cool hair. You guys built an amazing van. Both of you seem like really cool people
funny. I am not the person who's made to live this life, yet I'm obsessed with watching these videos. It's like watching a magnificent puzzle coming together.
I've been watching UA-cam videos and researching van builds, tiny homes, school bus conversions and step van conversions for the last 5 or 6 years. Your van conversion is by FAR the best I've seen. What a great layout and quality build, I'm super impressed! So much so that you guys have sold me! I've been undecided for SO long about what would work best for us and this is it. My partner and I will be watching your adventures and probably asking some questions as we start our journey. New subscriber today and already a huge fan! Oh and I think the insulation work was on point! :)
Thank you Melissa! We are so stoked to have you as part of our community! I’d love to answer any questions you need help with! Just give us a holler
Now,,,,this is a van I could live in...
What a nice job you both did...
Thank you so much Sharon! We’re so happy you liked it!!!
I've seen hundreds of these van conversion videos and this is by far the BEST one ive seen!!
I've seen a lot of them as well, and everyone has a comment like this xD
I stumbled upon this searching for van builds and watched it again. I have been following you guys for a long time, since Mexico and South America & all the way to back to Utah. I can't believe how young you looked when this video was made; you were just kids. Now you're adults building a house and expecting your first born. Wow! Lots of changes, guys. Love you both. Laters.
I have watched a lot of nice van and tiny house videos, but this is one of my favourites. I cannot usually picture myself living in a van, but this seems very practical with its shower and space solutions, lots of great details. Personally, I think you have done unbelievable work with your van. I wish all three of you (I count pets as part of family) all the best and greetings from Finland!
Excellent Job You can build these and Sell them. It’s just about perfect 👌 The Camping ⛺️ Van Conversation Companies don’t live in them and tend to miss things that full timers need. No kidding.
This is true!! I wish I could clone myself so I could enjoy my camper and build them at the same time
Kathy Fann agreed - if you’re open to new ways of making a living, looks like you could make some dough from converting vans for people...
ditto. This is the first van conversion I've seen for people who are especially outdoor active/gear intensive, and who like to cook; not to mention also having a dog.
Yeah this would have been great when I was 18 to 23 years old. I could of bought one of these as a starter home & just park on my parents land. Still be at home just in my own space.
@@TrentandAllie SHIT dude you can make millions...

Single BEST conversion van video on UA-cam!! Good luck, Enjoy to the fullest and be safe!!!
Thank you so much for giving a parts list to everything! I've been hurting so badly in my life and living situations since i was 18. For the last 15 years I've been used so badly by even my mother or other people I've been pretty much forced to live paycheck to paycheck under her roof. I've had enough. I'm looking into getting a large van or a small box truck as fast as possible to get out. This video is a blessing!
Good luck to you.
PhantomGun4 good luck sorry for that
I've seen a lot of mobile home vans and this is by far my fave. i love everything about it especially the shower.
All I can say is WOW! An entire home in a van. You guys are a champions.

Thanks Ted!! That means a lot
Yup .. I too love your van set up .. i can only dream of it :)
I'm impressed with the water pressure.
one of the best builds I've seen!! Great layout and really thoughtful design. I am happy you showed your safety equipment very few videos stress the safety
This is a very standard but perfect van house layout. It's really beautiful, I love it

Coming from a pro like you that means a lot!! Thanks David!
For whatever it’s worth, my Dad was president of the Used Car Association for the state of Louisiana and was in New and Used Car business for sixty years. We bought and sold vehicles in numerous states. I say that to tell you, ya’ll have one of the best builds I have ever seen. As a family business we have owned thousands of vehicles. You two could market this build, file for a couple of patents, and sell your ideas to Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, Toyota, etc., or build custom vans and make a fortune. Please seriously consider it, make a sketch and file your ideas with U.S. Patent Office. Do some research. Legally protect your ideas first before presenting them. Congratulations on a first class build and video. Good luck and GOD bless !!!
That is quite the idea!! I’m so glad you liked it that much. We will put some thought into patenting our design! Thanks 😊
If you research a book at the library (maybe online) called the Thomas Register, they have companies listed from all over the U.S. and some foreign countries. Call some of them, most of the toll free numbers, and you can get some free samples of different materials or products you are interested in, or expanding on. It is a great source for also exchanging ideas and possibly getting more leads for more resources. Good luck.
Thank you!!
Wonderful use of space. Trent could build a business of van conversion.
You are too kind!! Thank you!
I have been watching you two for a long time but never watched this one. You both are so cute, now I think I need to watch all the old videos.

It's really nice of Frank to share his bed with y'all ;-)
We graciously accept his tolerance of our presence in his space haha
DAMN. I have seen nearly every van build youtube video. They all have terrible drawbacks. I have had a no compromises design idea in my head for the Promaster 159ext and really thought that once I started drawing it out, it wouldn't all fit. What you have built is extremely similar to what I have had in mind. You have outdone yourself. I would pay for a detailed build guide of this van. You are appreciated.
That’s such good news to hear that and I’d love to give you a detailed build guide but I didn’t use plans, I just built this van as it went along. Glad to give you hope for fitting all the necessities in your van build!
Planning to get a van next spring and convert it. I would be happy to pay for detailed plans and directions. Although I have seen some of your build videos lots of stuff has been skipped. I suggest to make small eBOOK and sell it. I'm sure there are tons of people willing to pay for your experience and ideas (I'm one of them). I watched your built videos of your first van and have to say you have skills and talent. You both are very nice couple and it is a pleasure to watch you. Waiting for ebook or some sort of guide. Great job!!! Best home Promaster build ever !
I would definitely pay for the plan! Its perfect!
Arthur Klisiewicz me too
INDEFINITELIFESPAN, be sure and add a vent for any propane appliances (stove, etc.) or your username will mean nothing! You know, Carbon Monoxide being deadly, and all (aka, the "silent killer").
Some think a little is okay, but who knows, maybe one day when a woman doesn't realize she is pregnant. Well, you get the picture.
Studies show it adds to cardiovascular disease at low levels.

OMG Trent looks so cute with his hair. I’ve only been watching your vlogs for a year now. You guys are more playful now thanks for letting us see these videos
The very first thing I look for in the videos about Vans, Schoolies, and Tiny Houses is, where do you get clean, and where do you have a toilet. Second is how do you combine beauty and practicality in the living space. So far your video on van conversion and the one done by the young woman of Bearfoot Theory, check off those areas with great practical ideas, beauty and style. The very best to you in your travels, that you will be safe and continue to have wonderful adventures.
Thank you so much Faith! So glad you enjoyed the van and happy to check off the boxes for you to live comfortably in a van 😇
Clearly the best van conversion I’ve seen. This covers all my needs for sure. Great job! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow killer van build!! We just got a Airstream Westfalia so I’m here to see what other people have done with their vans. I’m so impressed with the brilliant use of space you guys have here! Happy van life 😃
Thank you!! So nice to see people appreciating our hard work :) thanks for watching
Just Wow Wow Wow! Finally a video in which nothing is missing and every essential thing is included. Perfect design and so practical and stylish. This is the most perfect setting I've seen on youtube. I'm copying it lol. I never understood why most ppl don't include showers in their RV's. You guys are so talented and by the way a beautiful couple. God bless and thanks for sharing this so detailed video. You ROCK! Subscribed!
The van looks amazing. Nice job on the build; probably the best van I've seen on UA-cam
Thank you so much!!! That's so kind of you.
No holds barred, this is definitively the best van on youtube or anywhere else on the internet, for that matter.
INDEFINITELIFESPAN you the real MVP!!
A laundry chute that goes to the back of the van? Okay, you. are. a. genius!
Thank you!!! I don't know about a genius but definitely tried to plan everything out ahead of time!!! Thanks for watching!
Better than any company build I’ve seen. Nicely done.
Martha!! That is a truly touching comment! That makes us so happy to see that people think the build is good as we think it is. Thank you so much and we hope you join the community and come along for our future adventures!!
One of the things I love most about this type of lifestyle is figuring out how little you really need to live.
Watched only the first 20 seconds of the video, already hooked on it! That scenery...😍
Colorado at its finest
Trent & Alli
Thank you for sharing, y'all work great together
One of the best Sprinter Conversions I've had the pleasure of viewing!. I will be basing my dimensions on your designs!. Well done.
Thanks Joseph!! That would be an honor
I've been watching a bunch of these type videos lately because my husband and I want to travel extensively after he retires in a couple of years, but I wanted something I could drive as well, so a big motor home was not an option. I really appreciate how thorough you are! And you've done a great job. It looks very inviting. And yes, a full shower is a MUST HAVE!
This is one of the best van builds I have seen. keep up the good work, love the Video.
Y'all thought of everything. I love the kitchen the stove is huge. I love the shower and the cabinets with those button locks. You would think all campers and RVs would have cabinets like that. The bed is huge and you have all the safety features you need. Congratulations! Y'all did a really amazing job on this van. Your dog seems to love it too. 😎👍🐾
Thank you so much!!! That's so sweet of you! Frank does love the van and yes we also think that all RV's should come with the push button latches!! Thanks for watching, hopefully you subscribed so you can see our future adventures in the van :)
Yes I did subscribe and hit the bell so I'm looking forward to watching more of your adventures.😊
So stoked to have you along for the ride!!!

The dog is like wtf I’m trying to sleep😂
I’ve been following Trent and Allie for a long time now but have never seen this video before. Trent with long hair! 😄
The first thing that was amazing and so professionally done is Allie’s genius editing! Allie, you are one of the best ever!!
You both have van life down to a science! Organization seems key. Thank you for your generous sharing of info. Very helpful. Safe and happy travels 😊
Wow, agree, this is the best use of space and probably the nicest van conversion I have seen. Great job, quite envious :)
Thanks Andrew!! So happy to see people enjoy our work!! Appreciate the comment too 😎
Oh my ! YOu van conversion so cosy and beautiful ! It feels like a small condo unit on wheels, thanks for sharing !
You’re both so sweet! If I was to go in the wilderness or travel in a van you’re the pair to have with you. I’d feel very safe. Great van & smart great ideas! Enjoy your journey!!!
How can I forget....your dog is the cutest❤️
This van build is awesome, it's the best I've seen.
Thanks Kim that really means a lot to us!!
This video is useful a lot! I am building the campervan in S.Korea :)
That's so neat that the video has reached all the way to S Korea!! So glad the video has helped you. If you subscribe there will be more helpful videos in the future!! Thanks for watching!!!
How can anyone unlike this video? This is amazing! Goals. I absolutely love love love your van and I think it is truly amazing what you guys are doing. Great living for your soul growth. Beautiful life. I hope to have what you two have one day. Keep up the good work
Namaste !! :- )
This van is so stunning, I clicked on this video assuming I’d just skip around to see some of the parts but I just had to watch all the way through because all the thoughtful details in this design make it look so comfy and livable.
Hopefully you enjoy some of our videos too!! We just finished driving this van to the southern most tip of South America 😊
Amazing conversion you should be very proud of your hard work.
Thanks Max!! We are very happy with how it turned out.
Looks great ....However you should have lined the underside of the lift up countertop over the cooker with stainless steel ...to stop the heat on the wood ........
Selsey Man thought the same thing.
Was looking for this comment. This is mega fire hazard.
If you put your bench/chopping board on runners you could just move it to the right when using the stove and then you could still utilize your bench space to chop etc while cooking :)
it would also provide access to the spices on the wall while cooking.
thought of both of these things xD
ideas for version 3.... or v2.1
Exactly thinking this..once open have no space to put food or anything on side.. not only that, the underside that wood is going to get burn marks on
Over 2 years ago and it’s insane that it’s been so long! Been following you guys since I came across this video and seeing you guys and your journey over the last 2 years has been a real treat and while I know the pandemic affected a lot of your plans I’m glad you guys have adapted well and now have Terry and the property to look forward to!
Been looking at buying a house for 2 years on and off but I want a van instead lol this is the best set up I've seen so far.
Price is awesome compared to a house too
Im 19, think after college I’m going to use my savings to invest in a van and copy your build, thanks for the tips!
Savings after college????
MooseRider Wpg working since 16, community college, and ap credits do a wonderful thing
Future President 10k a year aint bad 😪
Gorgeous van! I really like the part that it has a shower 🤟🏻
Thanks!! We had to have a shower haha
There is only one word that I want to say,"wo!"! Your design is really smart and useful it's just a small home there. How creative is and well done! Learn from you. 👍🏻
The Japanese concept of a (Japanese) futon on a tatami mat would work really well on your bed frame. The futon can folded into a legless couch (like a number '6', more or less). You could just put a 1" cushion under a rug in that area to substitute for the extra cushioning you would get from a tatami mat. This way, you could sit next to each other and watch tv or eat. The Japanese would use a low legged table to eat here, which of course could be folded and hung on a wall. Eating could be done sitting 'Indian' style, or the Japanese use legless chairs at these low tables for back support, which, again, could be folded for storage. Plenty of youtube videos on these things.
It's the yacht of all vans
Thanks Ben!! That’s a great title haha
it is so nice to find a significant other you can enjoy life with
Amen to that Brett!!!
