When you met the dad again, it sounded like you were being really emotional, plus offering him some money you got from selling the upgraded pc his son left home during Christmas, it hit me real bad, that's one of the rare things that ever made me cry on youtube and everything else. God bless you man.
A man was once walking on the beach where lots of starfish had washed up and were suffocating... the man decided to start picking them up and throwing them back in the ocean. Someone asked him “what are you doing? There are hundreds of them... how are you going to make a difference?” The man simply picked another up, threw it in and said... “well I made a difference to that one.”

@@stevethea5250 seriously? He did a good deed and you have a problem with the fact he took apart the PC and upgraded it? As he said from his view he'd be honored if someone kept his computer alive by upgrading it.
My granddad died a few weeks back, and the amount of family members doing something and messing up then saying "this will be the death of me." And other death related expressions around my Nana was astounding. Like goddamn... my great aunt was already asking if they have the will sorted while he was still barely hanging on. I know 2020 and pt 2 will be shit for masks and it all sucks, but please wear a mask for potting mix, it can often contain legionella which is a deadly virus, he would've died earlier if the emts didn't administer antibiotics on site before hospital transportation. Though he did pass 2 months after due to the antibiotics obliterating his renal function, but even without his health conditions it can easily be deadly or cause long term effects. Take care all, and live life to the fullest with some safety aspects

i am going to theorize and assume that the guy gave the computer to his friends which really would just hold onto it for awhile and then give it back. basically, his friends to hold onto it for him. i dont honestly think he sold that computer for only 500 dollars. thats bs. its like he tried to video it so that he could give proof that he let himself get scammed too.. im assuming that. but i dont believe that. i would think that perhaps he showed that video to the father and then gave the father a little bit more and then video taped that. its not like the father can do anything about it now but atleast he can get a little bit more. i do not think that the whole computer is worth only 1000 dollars or even 1450 dollars. i believe its easily a 3000 dollar computer at the time it was bought and im sure he still made profit off it if the kids that he sold it to were actually just friends of his that are holding onto it for awhile until the yt crap dies down. thats my theory on it. if that is what happened, then theoretically the money he gave the kids is still his money and he could just go to get the money and pc back any time. perhaps they were his best friends which is why the faces of them might of been censored out so that nobody could actually know if they were his best friends. and perhaps if that theory is true, perhaps the whole reason his best friends did that is because maybe his friends come over to play on the pc often or perhaps they would get a few dollars of the profit at some point. anyway thats just my huge theory on it. i have a brother that has a computer that looks like that and it was around 3 grand at the time. which i understand that if the computers were to be sold in the present day, it would be less but not only 500 dollars. thats real bs. so yes there is definitely something fishy going on about the whole story but its whatever. it doesnt need to matter tbh. he gave the father a decent amount in the end and regardless what the guy truly profited with, he was the guy that got to that lucky buy first anyways. instead of stating what was obvious, just let it be and keep it to yourself. instead just tell to yourself, he got lucky.
Lost my mom to Cancer and I couldn’t wait to see the second video I just knew you were going through something rough. It never gets easy but little things like this make you feel like they know you are the person they hoped they were raising. You’ve definitely earned some karma and I know your efforts are appreciated. Also you seriously made my day for what it’s worth.
Because he never said he was going to do anything then out of the kindness of his heart he did something. I too was one to say he should do something because that's what I believe was the best thing to do and he provided and that to me is something that shows the type of human being he is and how he was raised.
I actually really loved the first video. I could already see how enthralled he was with the care and precision that the former owner put into his system, and it hit close to home for him even in just that regard. I was waiting with anticipation for a second part because i had a feeling that he would pour his soul into honoring one of his brethren if he did a second part. I'm actually subscribing to him because of these two videos
Anyone who called him heartless on the first video is an idiot. People die all the time, and dead people's things are sold, it's sad, but millions of people die every year, if you had to be that sentimental and reverent of everything that was important to those people we would all grind to a stop. Anything he would've done flipping it is better than this dad selling it to a pawn shop and probably getting $50 bucks, which is what a lot of people who are not tech savvy woudl do with a dead relative's computer.
I haven't had a good cry in years and something about this video hit me just right. The respect of the sons machine, the upgrade, the wildly discounted sale to those kids, and the conversation with the father were incredible. Thank you.
Everyone cries its okay. Im a 17 year old Football player with a hard ass coach and i barely cry about anything but i started thinking about my great grandma honey and just remembered everything she did for me and with me and it got to me. Her and I were so alike... we always got in verbal arguments and i remember one time it got so bad that my mom sent her and i both to our rooms. I swear it was the funniest thing ever. After she passed away my mom told me how she loved arguing with me and how i reminded her of her husband. Honestly its better to remember the things you were happiest with when you were with the person. Its alright to be a grown 42 year old man and cry.
Howard Murphy Maybe because some people relate to this in some way shape or form. The loss of a friend or family member is something that scars so deeply that no matter /how/ tough someone may be, it is enough to bring them to their knees and simply sob. Instead of asking someone how they can cry about something like this, perhaps take into consideration that people out there go through hard times, whether it be depression, the loss of a friend or family member, or some other deep sense of loss. Either you simply are insensitive enough to recognize the fact that what has transpired here is deeply emotional and pains the heart to realize and even contemplate the thought of the loss of a loved one and yet still state that it's not enough to make someone cry, or you simply did not pay attention to this video and posted without thinking. Either way, I suggest you watch what you say before posting, as in stating what you said above comes across as extremely insensitive on an already sensitive topic. Sure, it's the internet, and i'm just some guy telling you his belief/opinion, however I still wish to state what I needed to state so that you may either read it (or not), as well as others may do so.

I lost it watching this video. I don't mind sharing my story, i still respect you don't want too though. I got my dad into computers waaaay back when Hewlett Packard was a thing. I wanted to go on AOL soooooooooooo bad as a kid. An i finally talked him into it, and that was what he came home with. From then, he started reading about computers and eventually ordered a Barebones kit online and taught himself. He saw how much I was into the kit he later ordered one for me and helped me put my 1st gaming computer together. We would game in the same room, playing Half Life, the old Call of Duty games, Quake, Duke Nukem, Baldurs Gate.......from then on we were both slowly upgrading our pcs. He'd buy me a new graphics card for my birthday. An now, years later i was buying him pc stuff for his. He loved the Far Cry series. He has all of them, I bought us both Far Cry 5 to play the story co-op together. July of 2018 my Dad had a stroke and never recovered. Now.......i see his Steam account that says ......offline.....an my heart just breaks 😢😢😢😢.....every time. I don't think i could ever get rid of his computer. I'm to sentimental when it comes to anything of his. But that's my story. It's still very hard, and I don't think it will every stop hurting. I'll just learn better ways to cope. You are a genuinely good person! The fact that you got that pc before anyone of those other 20-100 people means something. Every one knows, none of them would of done anything like this. An I know what you did and said to the Dad meant a lot to him. I don't really know what else to say, but you earned a new sub. You deserve a lot more then that though. I hope you had a good Christmas/New Years or what ever you celebrate. An for your story.....whatever it is, im sorry. (*hug*) I never did get to finish Far Cry 5 with my Dad 😢
Your so blessed to have a Father who invested so much of himself into you.... Always consider the joy of what you shared instead of the grief of an unpromised tomorrow.... A loving Father would want that
I’m sure he’s in a better place, if you get a ‘thing’ as father and son that’s very special and it’s a bond that’s truely the best. I hope he’s looking down on the amazing man he raised❤️
I teared up reading this comment. I know how it feels to lose someone, man, it hurts and when you're reminded of it, it hurts even more. I think you already know this, but your dad loves you man, and he wants you to be happy. Finish Far Cry 5 in honor of him. Life will get better, it won't turn up with sunshine and daisies, but it will be good. As for your dad, he's still here, fam, watching over you.
Damn that is tough to read. I feel immense amount of respect for your dad to invest his life and energy so he could better understand his son and experience things together with you. It's really hard to process something where he was constantly involved with, so I wish the best for you. I'm pretty jealous of the bond you and your dad have since my dad would never care a bit what is going on with me so reading this made me really appreciate your dad. It really isn't that easy to be a father and from what I read he gave it everything he had.
Honestly I would just treasure it, never game on it. Imagine playing, having lots of fun on this beast of a PC, then realising this is what the original owner must have felt once upon a time. May he rest in piece.

This hits me HARD bro. I built my best gaming PC yet around 2 years back. I collected money for an entire year to be able to build it. GTX980Ti SuperJetstream with 32GB Trident-Z RAM on a Z170X Gaming 7 motherboard... I named her "Shirohime". The whole setup costed me around 5500USD. But unfortunately i had to get rid of her because of financial problems. One of the saddest times of my life yet. I know it sounds weird but I was pretty depressed back then and had noone to talk to. That PC was all i had. The guy i sold it to flipped the parts for profit. And now each of those parts i worked so hard for is owned by different people. I just hope they're taking good care of them because i miss them as if i lost my closest friend.
Yeah I just spent $3500 on my latest build but now I’m honestly pretty broke but I had always wanted a high end custom build after years of console gaming or running my shitty laptop on low settings 😂
what? Why 5500$? I spent 1600$ for Ryzen 2700, RTX 2080, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB, MSI Gaming Plus Motherboard, Enermax LiqFusion AIO Cooler, 650W Corsair PSU and this is the best build in my life
You probably won't see this, I've been gaming my entire life, building pc's selling them on, making them for family members and upgrading as time goes on. Not going to lie, seeing you upgrade a system like this, with such a heartfelt story made me cry, seems silly but for something I do most of my days.. Every day really, it's a really beautiful thing. Humanity is actually pretty good. It's media that is dividing us and maximizing creed in people. Now after two years I sold my TV, it's so obvious. Also "education" system is so controlled for the divide and conquer politics of the higher elites (those that never themselves are on any media) that it's pretty sickening. Humanity has always been much better than people give credit for, and it's constantly getting better. But our system raises psychopaths in power and in wealth, so it seems otherwise.
@@juzujuzu4555 who watches tv when there is computers and laptops? simply selling a tv does not much. besides tv is boring. laptop ftw. as far as the media, simply dont watch those channels. and yes i agree its thrown in almost every where if u watch a show long enough but meh, its best to just watch movies for the entertaining aspect of it while ignoring any lame parts of them. computer>tv. even phone wins over tv. tv is so the past no matter how futurific they make em because people will always be using phones, computers, and consoles over tv thus making tv just one of the extra things that people dont really need to have XD

That's weird cause I actually dislike him more after watching part 2. Not sure he would have done this if it weren't for the thousands of comments calling him out for being a scumbag in the first place once he heard the story. Yes, it's great he made amends for it, but was it his conscious or the fact his subscribers called him out on it? I'm saying the latter based on it taking two weeks from the first video being posted to this one and them not being posted simultaneously. Yes the timing matters because it shows he received the backlash then was stuck doing damage control. Sad what people will do for recognition once they've been outted as a scumbag.

I had the same thought. How are there over 1,000 cold-hearted people that would take the time to dislike this. Fine. Don't like it. But to take the added step of down-voting it is nearly criminal. Not sure I want to meet people this cynical... ever.
A lot of people see stuff like this and instantly think its fake, set up, or they are just doing it for the views. Sad thing is that does happen sometimes. But I honestly don't think this is one of those times.
You were able to go back there and give that family something priceless, validation. They will be able to hang his computer building skills on his epitaph now. They may never have known if not for you. I know it seems small compared to a life lost, but anything positive you can remember about a lost love one is worth knowing.
Bro when I first heard that the reason for selling that gaming pc related to his sons death. I immediately felt that, like a baseball bat strike across my head man. I felt sad for that father. What you did was amazing man, helping him out and giving him the money. That is definitely one of the greatest situation ever; especially when you two are strangers. God bless you and that man, and may god rest his son in peace.
I'm Indonesian and we do the same. My PC is 7 years old and I'm still using it. Clean it every chance I get, maintain it, I'm actually able to play up to date games like Apex Legends on medium to low settings with no issues.
When you are taking someone else's work apart, and can see the care they took....there is a sort of link between you and them, like a link over time, where you get to see how talented they were. My grandfather did lawn mowers and could get anything to run again in almost any conditon, but he always smiled when an owner had taken care of their mower or sharpened the blades well. My great grandfather was a clock maker and worked on everything from pocket watches to one off priceless grandfather clocks. I remember him more vaguely but he loved quality and good workmanship which made his job/life easier. I work on PC rarely, but for any build that has logical neat cable management and good build quality there are tens which are thrown together. Take pride in what you do...it is like a message to the future of who you once were.
@@McGyver777ATGMAIL it's same for me, when someone comes to me with their not working pc and I open the side panel it feels bad that they don't take care of it but it feels good to do something right for them so I fix it for free and install all softwares required and some extras too and it feels awesome to do so.

You got it cheap, That's fine - someone else would have anyway. Then you realised it was more than a PC - it had a soul and a story. You rebuilt it, that's great too. The reselling was beautiful and very heart warming, to the point of genuinely pulling the heartstrings, Know this; You did the right thing by telling this story and letting everyone know it has a life. a life that teaches many lessons, Be fair, Be honest,Be genuine, and ALWAYS pay forward when you can. In short, you get my vote 100%! I wonder if this PC will reappear with a continuation of its story in a few years to come. The first video, everyone was calling him heartless. Now they are all telling him he’s the nicest human being on the planet
Umad561 facts
Because he never said he was going to do anything then out of the kindness of his heart he did something.
I too was one to say he should do something because that's what I believe was the best thing to do and he provided and that to me is something that shows the type of human being he is and how he was raised.
I actually really loved the first video. I could already see how enthralled he was with the care and precision that the former owner put into his system, and it hit close to home for him even in just that regard. I was waiting with anticipation for a second part because i had a feeling that he would pour his soul into honoring one of his brethren if he did a second part. I'm actually subscribing to him because of these two videos
yea i appreciate the action but he did get more than 1500 bucks from this video unless he is also giving him the money or some money i doubt it
Anyone who called him heartless on the first video is an idiot.
Geez dust from my pc got in my eye, totally not crying.
I haven't had a good cry in years and something about this video hit me just right. The respect of the sons machine, the upgrade, the wildly discounted sale to those kids, and the conversation with the father were incredible. Thank you.
I am literally sitting here a grown 42 year old man crying, you hit me right in the heart man. Tnx for being an awesome human.
Rickhard Hartmann idk what tnx means but you are absolutely right my man.
@@ajgross14 It is short for thanks my dude.
I got you beat. I'm 55 and sitting here in a puddle.

(*hug*)
I never did get to finish Far Cry 5 with my Dad 😢

I hope you get another dream build soon brother :)
Maybe god has something better for you in the coming years.. stay positive and work hard bro and you will definitely get rewarded
Yeah I just spent $3500 on my latest build but now I’m honestly pretty broke but I had always wanted a high end custom build after years of console gaming or running my shitty laptop on low settings 😂
If you weren't an idiot and you knew you had financial problems and you wasted almost 6 grand on a pc you deserved to go broke
what? Why 5500$? I spent 1600$ for Ryzen 2700, RTX 2080, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB, MSI Gaming Plus Motherboard, Enermax LiqFusion AIO Cooler, 650W Corsair PSU and this is the best build in my life

A gamer's soul will remain in his cpu , his mind flowing trough the motherboard ! That guy is still there, taking care of all processes and enjoying the good cooling !
As a gamer myself who recently started learning about computers I really do hope he's in there somewhere marvelling at how everything he wanted his PC to be has become and himself gaming peacefully in heaven.
Rest in peace to our fallen brother.
So I think these two videos were among the first I saw from you back then. From that moment on I knew you where a good person to do this for the dad is beautifull. Just rewatched it and started crying my eyes out again. Respect man. And im still here watching you!
This and the previous video literally brought a tear to my eye. F to remember this fallen hero. And Props to you for upgrading his rig to honor his memory.
You know, I changed my mind about you after viewing part 2. Not a bad deal, I am one to always agree that paying it forward is a true thing.

@@AUZSOLUTIONS I'm a pos? What about this guy using this dudes story to make money
@@overclockin2022 He gave the profit bal to the guy and spread some love in the world.... get a grip snowflake. When was the last time u did something nice for someone else.
Usually, don't comment in anyone's video, but I do need to say something..
How are people disliking this?!
I came up with this video today, and legit, you are an amazing human.
Wish more people would be like you, You are what I would wish for the future of our world. You are honestly amazing, Much love.
fact121 exactly, blew my mind that people disliked this.. like what???
I had the same thought. How are there over 1,000 cold-hearted people that would take the time to dislike this. Fine. Don't like it. But to take the added step of down-voting it is nearly criminal. Not sure I want to meet people this cynical... ever.
A lot of people see stuff like this and instantly think its fake, set up, or they are just doing it for the views. Sad thing is that does happen sometimes. But I honestly don't think this is one of those times.
I guess they did just watch just the upgrade part
that literally had me crying for the rest of the night last night
You were able to go back there and give that family something priceless, validation. They will be able to hang his computer building skills on his epitaph now. They may never have known if not for you. I know it seems small compared to a life lost, but anything positive you can remember about a lost love one is worth knowing.
you're a great person
When i watched it I shed a tear it was such a moving thing
Bro when I first heard that the reason for selling that gaming pc related to his sons death. I immediately felt that, like a baseball bat strike across my head man. I felt sad for that father. What you did was amazing man, helping him out and giving him the money. That is definitely one of the greatest situation ever; especially when you two are strangers.
God bless you and that man, and may god rest his son in peace.
filipino dudes you say? that pc would last a lifetime. we have ocd of taking care of things you see.
Dwyane Wade it’ll last 3 generations lol
cute sea urchin my Filipino flat mate laughs at me when I empty the trash lmaooo
Lol kinda true
if we dont, parents will come palo 😂🇵🇭
I'm Indonesian and we do the same. My PC is 7 years old and I'm still using it. Clean it every chance I get, maintain it, I'm actually able to play up to date games like Apex Legends on medium to low settings with no issues.
When he said "I actually had to wear a mask because of how much i was coughing", I felt that. We all felt that.
You did an awesome job redoing the guy's PC, as a fellow enthusiast I feel respected for the guy. One cannot feel more respected than that
When you are taking someone else's work apart, and can see the care they took....there is a sort of link between you and them, like a link over time, where you get to see how talented they were.
Dude u just gained sooo much respect from me wish I had enough money to buy it off u I would treat as a real human being cuz of the story mad respect ✊🏼
Pls tell me if you are going to list it and I will try to get the money to buy it

Looks like I am one of the older guys here (almost 67) I started building comps by soldering components onto the vero board, I have a nascom1, My 1st purchase of a built computer - an orig Comodore PET4k ( cost me over £1000, way back late 70's) Anyway I digress,
It looks an amazing machine and I have to say Kristofer - you did absolutely the right thing. You got it cheap,
That's fine - someone else would have anyway.
Then you realised it was more than a PC - it had a soul and a story.
You rebuilt it, that's great too.
The reselling was beautiful and very heart warming, to the point of genuinely pulling the heartstrings,
Know this; You did the right thing by telling this story and letting everyone know it has a life. a life that teaches many lessons, Be fair, Be honest,Be genuine, and ALWAYS pay forward when you can.
In short, you get my vote 100%!
I wonder if this PC will reappear with a continuation of its story in a few years to come.
( Maybe you should have engraved the Orig person's (the son) name as a name for itself on the case so it can be followed on it's journey through life).
Great work Kristofer !
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Honestly i was cheesed at you for "scamming" this guy in the first video since it was such a good price and he didnt know better, not to mention the story. Seeing this video went way beyond redeeming yourself in my eyes. Merry Christmas man
way to make all the gamers teary eyed.. haha, good emotions. F
Bro, he is the kindest person when he wants to be, and made me close to shedding some tears just beautiful
This honestly made me tear. I think of my self of a rock when it comes to emotions but this, this hit me hard.
Kris, you're an amazing person and I wish there were more people like you. You did what most people wouldn't, and I respect you more than anyone on this platform. I don't cry at all but I gotta say this one hit me good.
My man can play over 60fps in heaven now🙏
may his eyes render it all in 4k 120 fps ultra settings, amen
