I love how you are so committed to your mistakes. Most people would start over but you just roll with it. Like, one mistake and: 'well, I guess my logo is upside down now.'
I honestly wish there were more people like you in the world... not only your skill but your personality and type of person you are. I’ve been a lot of places and done a lot of things. I’ve seen more then normal people usually get to see and my outlook on humanity is fairly bleak. I watch your videos and it brings me back for a moment... not a lot does that for me now in these days. Thank you and keep up the amazing work.
This was such a fun project! Go and check out james's video finishing the Tri Square: https: //ua-cam.com/video/5uzpSp2IAbk/v-deo.html If you want a chance to win these pieces go to this link: www.woodbywright.com/giveaway
Your engraving is just awesome, the total build is great. You always seem to build things that I would love to make myself. Keep the videos coming, Please. Thank you so much for using your time and experience to make these videos.
I’m amazed at your skill in each video. Those leaf finials are spectacular. I loved the ruler regardless of the mistakes. Also couldn’t stop laughing when you’re writing the letter. 🇦🇺👍🏻
UA-cam definitely needs to put some Facebook emoji in place because I can't even get closer to explain how entertaining this was. Besides the very best of craftsmanship you are also gifted with the very best of humor!!!! 😂😂😂
Hahaha that letter writing bits was funny. I really enjoyed watching your videos Uri sir. Can you make another painting video. I absolutely adored the moving eyes one that you previously did. Keep up the great work.
You have gone beyond (homemade) to truly (handmade) their is a difference, just as the difference between a rookie and a master is how well they fix their mistakes!
Wonderful colab guys been a huge fan of James forever. I discovered your videos about a year ago and love your creativity. Amazing job guys look forward to seeing more!
Great video Uri. I must admit that If I were in your shoes I would have scrapped that ruler and started again, but that's just me, either that or sanded the markings off and started again. LOL But hey, it certainly adds character to the piece! The knife though, is as always, exquisite! Love how those leaf Finials just pop right out of that Brass! Great work Uri, even your mistakes show a great deal of class! LOL
Dear Uri. I hope this comment finds you well. I just want to say that was probably your funniest video so far and your work was amazing as always. So thank you for making it!
"We don't make mistake, we have happy accident" Every piece you make, it's just an awsome artwork, even more i laughed deep every time you starting a video, make my day, it'a a pleasure to see your fun spirit when you working 😂😂😂
Greetings from Canada. This was one of your best videos and I'm glad to see your subscriptions climbing. You deserve the recognition. Entered to win. I laughed when I saw your "new" logo - the upside down pigeon - derived from the belt buckle project. Work safe.
Lol the arrows. Those are the kind of corrections I make. Beautiful work, either way. Incredibly inspiring. If I watch enough of your work, I'll either start doing it, or hit you up to make me some tools.
I wouldn't want to use the ruler per se, but it was really fun to watch you come up with something extra unique. I like that it still looks exquisite at the end.
I have been a graphic designer for ever. I started out before the computer and all we had were rulers and "analog" measuring tools. I was ALWAYS confused by the 0 to 1 bits. Not to the point of making mistakes but... er... okay yes, sometimes I made mistakes because of the confusion of where exactly does the one start. Considering that your work has no "undo" button trying to fix errors like this is completely understandable. Good job!
You are so funny😊. Love the letter, you shouldn't break it lol. Beautiful piece of work like always. Don't worry about that mistake, is from human to make mistakes. Thank you for sharing😊.
I’ve long wanted to give graving a try but just hadn’t done so because it’s a bit intimidating. This video may just be what pushes me into doing so. ❤😂
In a hundred years, archaeologists will discover the rule and conclude people from this era were quite fluid on their measuring and counting. 😉 I love it.
Hi Uri, at 2:21, the name of top of the column is CAPITOL, in Italian (as I am) is CAPITELLO, very similar. Love achantus leaves and the way you make all by hand. I do not make video (yet) but I use your same approach: handcraft uber alles! Great job!!!
Somehow your planned mistakes look way better than mine. If practice makes perfect my planned mistakes should be masterpieces! Loved your video and the letter was just genius!
You're a kind of amusing genius weirdo. Thanx, couldn't stop laughing while you wrote that letter.
Thanks, Uri.
I laughed. I cried. I ate a bowl of soup.
Tomato?
@OriginalYithian -- There were potatoes and meat in it. I suppose I could have put it in a blender and made a slurpee out of it though.
@@harpodjangorose9696that’s fucked up, man. Don’t blend it up!
Another project, another journey.....................always a pleasure to watch.
I love how you are so committed to your mistakes. Most people would start over but you just roll with it. Like, one mistake and: 'well, I guess my logo is upside down now.'
Oh man! So cool! Love your work!
Thanks! that was real fun!
@@urituchmanpigeon I love your humor! we need to do this more often!
Uri, I have to say the mess up really gives it some style like none other. This has got to be the best and funniest video so far to date.
Thanks, I really think mistakes are sometimes wonderful, and shouldn't always be covered up.
I honestly wish there were more people like you in the world... not only your skill but your personality and type of person you are. I’ve been a lot of places and done a lot of things. Thanks a lot Jared, that is really nice to hear that.
Wonderful! Thanks for co-labing with my son, James!
You do amazing work! Loved watching!
I subscribed! 💗
What a better and bright place the world would be if it was full of Uri’s, always look forward to your videos
Uri you are an absolute joy to watch. So talented and funny and sweet. It is always such a pleasure to watch you work.
Never blame yourself for a mistake, blame the audience for distracting you!!!! Very nice "Measure Once, Cut Thrice" Measuring & Marking Set!!!
Absolutely love it! Flaws and all, which makes it very unique. Great video!
Man I just love your whimsical (with just a _dash_ of eccentricity) style lol. Thanks for sharing!! 👏👏👏
Epic letter writing! Lol. I looked away for a sec to talk to my Hunny n when i looked back the leaf detail was mind blowing.
Those leaf finials came out beautiful! Its hard to believe that brass carves like wood.
Thanks! It does, only much much smaller.
That’s the hardest wood I’ve ever heard of
Brass is much more forgiving due to it not having a grain structure and not splintering if you slip
They both came out amazing, like all of your projects does. Funny video too, especially the pen dipping sound effects. Lol
Uri, you didn't make a mistake you made a unique square and that's great! Thank you for your wonderful skills.
This was such a fun project!

a perfect imperfection, A ONLY CONFUSING RULER. OUT THERE.

The 'mistake' was a nice insight on the workings of the brain of an artistic genius.
Even the excuses are awesome. True craftsman.
Hahaha that letter writing bits was funny. I really enjoyed watching your videos Uri sir.
Can you make another painting video. I absolutely adored the moving eyes one that you previously did. Keep up the great work.
Yes please. I loved watching him paint.
What a great video. I loved how you turned a mistake not only into a positive but also art. I will be thanking James for introducing you to me.
I just laughed out loud when Uri was writing his letter to James. He doesn’t trust the Post Office. Hahaha
"Gracefully and successfully" had me chuckling. Great work as usual Uri!
I want to grow up and be Uri... are older than 58 years old? Oh well. Too late. Great craftsmanship. Love your channel.
You have gone beyond (homemade) to truly (handmade) their is a difference, just as the difference between a rookie and a master is how well they fix their mistakes!
I love the honesty of the work!
There's nothing I love more in this life than a beautifully crafted mistake
Wonderful colab guys been a huge fan of James forever. I discovered your videos about a year ago and love your creativity. Amazing job guys look forward to seeing more!

Uri your not stupid, those are just *"happy little accidents"* - Bob Ross and remember to beat the devil out of it.
I absolutely loved this video ! You're a funny and very talented man. Thanks for sharing.

Both of you did a great job I love hand made tools.

It's a delight watching your videos.
This might be my favorite youtube channel.
I love your creativity, mistakes and all, please keep making videos!
Instantly subscribed. Hilarious, and there's something about messing up and finding ridiculous ways to solve your problem that's just so relatable.
Beautiful. The top of a column = capital, if you are still wondering.
For me it will always be a 'flange' now :)
Ionic, Corinthians and doronic? If I remember the biuld has to have all 3 to keep the gods happy.
@@MultiDislikes There were more actually like Corinthian, Aeolic and mixed, dosseret etc
Hahahaha. Excellent repair. No one will ever know. Beautiful work as always.
Siempre es un gran placer ver cómo realiza su trabajo!!! Magnífico, bravo!!!
I see no mistakes. All makes perfect sense to me. He will be thrilled with it. The knife is a gorgeous accompaniament to anything. 😉
Love you Uri. You are a delight to watch

Ah Uri, you always brighten my day
Wow. Fantastic job and video. Loved the machines mistakes!!!
Beautiful, well done.
Beautiful work. Thank you
I was rolling! Great video.
OMG Uri, this was your best episode yet. Glad you left the mistakes in! 😂😹
Love your stuff keep up the great work!
ur first good job
The most beautifully confusing tool ever ❤️
By the end I was laughing so hard I snorted and frightened the cat! ;) Splash! Ding!
Uti, James actually does use some power tools, just less than 1/10th of a percent of the time. Nice work, can't wait to see James finish it.
"was a proposital mistake" .made my day. A suggestion, could you make a video on engraving, another one . Keep the good work.
Thanks! I do have something in mind for the future actually.
I came here from James Wright's youtube page. Wow, this is some inspiring work you do.
Ha! I loved your solution Uri! Genius!
if all rulers were made that way the world would be a more light hearted place
That ruler.....oh my God. Still laughing. I love this channel.
This is my new favorite video of all time, im actually laughing so hard XD. Absolutely love this.
You so silly. Love your videos. Thank you for inspiring me.
Love the ruler, never change.
I lost it at the letter writing 😂 bloody hilarious!
You're now my favourite absurdist engraver!
Amazing build. Made my day!
This ruler gives me life.
nobody understands what screwing up lie that feels like, unless they have. good save. love your work.

"This was already here", sure makes it less noticeable and more acceptable.
Perfection just perfect
Awesome work!
Uri, your personality reminds me of BobbyDube Arts. Crazy, funny, somewhat random. I love it
Wonderful as always! You can write me a letter anytime...lol. As Bobby Duke would say, "I want That!" Good luck to all the entrants of the give away.
It's not a mistake, it's art, god dammit!
I laughed so hard, great work! Keep it up man
The top of a column is called a capital... beautifully done btw.
We should all be so talented as to be able to make mistakes like you!!
Haha i was just thinking that i would love to see a new video from you and i was not disappointed
