      Given that the world's population has nigh doubled every 50 years during the past century _(2 billion as @ 1920, nearly 4 billion - 1970 & nearly 8 billion - 2020),_ have you produced a video highlighting the adverse affects that a fourfold global population growth over the last 100 years has had on the Earth's various ecosystems?
      i.e.: Not just the obvious, but also (e.g.) agriculture to feed us has destroyed the natural habitats of indigenous wildlife and driven species to near or total extinction. Animal farming has not only had the same effect, but the _'exhaust' and dung from increased growth of livestock adds to greenhouse gasses, as indeed has the increased production of power (energy) for increased numbers of homes, and transport, etc.

      I tot u r gonna say vegan.. Veganism is the true and direct way of changing these.. Not wars and politics..

    • @robingarvin-mack
      @robingarvin-mack 4 роки тому

      @@goldbrodidoggo Did you miss the bit that land clearance _(decimating the rain forest and cutting back other forests throughout the N & S temperate zones)_ to grow crops is destroying the natural habitat of indigenous species and driving them to extinction? Many of these species are essential for maintaining the planet's ecosystems and Nature's balance.
      With the world's human population doubling every half century, can you imagine the effect that feeding 15 billion *_'vegans'_* will have on our planet and its ecosystems by 2070???
      Veganism _(and eating one's 'greens')_ is hardly green!
      MOREOVER... vegetarianism & veganism do not address the other issues of creating housing stock, infrastructure & transport, energy production, and all the other forms of industrialization required to accommodate and maintain the needs & wants of an exponentially growing population.

    This is such a beautiful video!
    I'm Colombian and it hurts to see how colonialism took our spirituality away from us and even if today we aware of it, it seems we forgot our history and we want to remain disconnected of our indigenous heritage.
    Fortunately my grandparents are farmers and they taught us to take care of each single living creature and treat it with respect and love. We are all one! ❤️

      Well if it hurts to see how colonialism took your spirit away just think how the native animals felt as your ancestors wiped them off the face of the planet - species after species. Your ancestors wiped out 75% of all large species of animal that lived their before your ancestors arrived. Ask yourself who were the worst colonists of all.. your ancestors were! Why not get on with saving the species that are left.

    I'm not indigenous except for a 16th part on my fathers side. But since I was 4 years old I have lived and flourished around nature. I grew up running wild in the woods and swimming in great lakes. Now that I'm a young adult I have started to see things more clearly. The earth and humans are one. I feel the enlightment of my ancestors filling me up. My understanding of the living natural force expands every single day. And I feel more and more close to my home. This planet is my home and my future. I will be here until the end and even after. Let's all love Earth and make ourselves a part of it again 🌎🌿🌾

    Great video! All the rational people are feeling something is wrong and we must change to live with nature and the earth except for the super rich with distorted minds, who think they can get away no matter. The problem is they are more likely to grab power and do thing to the own interests ignoring the majority of the earthians.

    • @timderekker1510
      @timderekker1510 Рік тому +2

      You are allowed, you can climb trees, hike through scenery, swim in lakes, eat fruit, like animals would live and play in nature. But completely destroying the environment to farm precious materials to build things we don't need or enjoy like electric cars... is something else. We need to reorganize the outside world and our lives to actually bring balance. In my view we are less allowed to interact with the outside world than ever, not even allowed to cross the street whenever I want I could literally die wtf, or even with a vehicle on road for vehicles I have to follow so many rules. It stresses me out. I cry when I watch TV and hear all the people discuss how we will manage the transition to renewable energy or when people are happy precious metals are found in a mine in sweden. Never do I hear about reorganizing our human-made world so we don't use so much energy so inefficiently. "Let's mine this whole country, treat it with chemicals, refine it so we can build electric cars, those are slightly less horrible than regular cars!". "Great idea! We will subsidize it into oblivion, this will provide jobs and economic growth"

    As the climate heads into greater extremes globally, how can we best deal with future climate crises?
    The short answer is that we cannot deal with them unless we take care of nature's inner balance.
    We live in a tightly-closed and interdependent system in which everything boomerangs back to us. While living in such a system, we need to reconsider what we want and think, and how we treat each other, because our human connections are the primary influence on how nature responds to us.
    It is common to think that climate is dependent on factors outside of us-whether it be balances between heat and cold in the environment, or the effects of various kinds of pollution we emit-because we lack a complete picture of how our attitudes to each other bring about the strongest responses from nature toward us.
    No creature distorts nature the way that we people do. And it is not simply a matter of switching to renewable energy sources, electric cars and the like; it is a matter of how we relate to each other.
    If we truly wish to witness more balance throughout nature and not have to deal with all kinds of cold waves and other natural disasters, then similarly to how we have electricity, water and gas meters in our homes, we should also have meters that count how much evil we emit into the world from our negative attitudes to each other. What I mean is that if we could feel the extent to which we emit negative forces into the world, which negatively ricochet back to us, then we would wish to change this negative driver within us. We would want to switch it to a drive that makes our human connections positive, and which harmonizes us with nature.
    In simple terms, when we get up in the morning, we should first and foremost consider what we need to do in order for all people to have it good. Developing such an attitude is not so simple, yet we will need to seriously work on it as we head into the future. A life of increasing blows from nature or a life of peace and harmony depends on the extent to which we impact a shift in our attitudes to each other-from negative to positive.
