Godzilla x Kong is fun and cool whole the other movies that came out this year were dark and at sometimes depressing. A quiet place: day one is a worthy opponent for best movie of this year. Both are amazing works of art with different perspective. Both have these monsters attacking a big city and the main character bonds with the 2nd character

@@cheezuschrist Kong is in his 70's when he was on Kong: Skull Island movie, he was still a teenager or young adult. He was pretty much "Young" on Titan age and then there's Suko the red ape who is still a kid but apparently, he is taller than Kong in Skull Island movie.

Remember back when Godzilla caused a tsunami just by arriving?
Now he can just jump out of the ocean like it’s a public swimming pool with waves or anything
Something to note is that Godzilla was evidently speeding towards Honolulu at breakneck speeds, and was carrying a ton of force being built up the whole way through towards the shallows. And yeah, it also exaggerated the effects of Godzilla's initial landfall.
Meanwhile, Godzilla only dove down once into a fairly deep watery drop from the Gibraltar Rock.
And really, Godzilla hasn't been making full on Tsunami’s for awhile now.
Remember when godzilla doesn't create a tsunami when he leaves Honolulu/San Francisco or when he arrives at San Francisco in the same movie?. The franchise mostly doesn't have him causing a tsunami most of the time regardless if he's coming out of or entering the water. Even g14 did this right after his arrival. It's a cool detail but not a necessary one.

I still wonder how Kong's species became rival to Goji's when here's Goji definitely overpowers Kong in most aspects. Is it because Goji's just built different, or is it because Kong's species outnumbers Goji's?
Based on how the Skar King managed to "tame" Shimo, it's 100% numbers. But also, Godzilla is an adult that's been alive since that damn war. Skar King and Godzilla are both remnants of a hundred thousand year old war. Kong's a teenager. Though tbh, even if he lives that long, Godzilla would still wreck him simply cuz his species built different.
@@hellborne7995 kong isn't a teenager, gvk literally confirms him to be an adult. That beard isn't just there for show. Kong's species and godzilla's species became rivals because godzilla's species thought kong's species were to blame for the war. Plus...kong's species are smart enough to make weapons out of dorsal plates. It's more than just numbers that make them worthy rivals.
It's the equivalent of the rivalry ancient humans once had with ancient wolves, sabertooth cats and bears. All 3 predators are smart and physically more powerful but we humans are smarter than them. Brains vs brawns (with some brains on the brawns side)
