James bond gave Rolex the biggest showing ,after that everyone wanted a Rolex. Very clever marketing they both needed each other and it was a very successful marriage

Yes indeed. This genius marketing endures to this day.

One of the best vids on the submariner I’ve seen. Keep it going! Maybe some other Rolex models?

I’m thinking a series on the op or maybe the gmt too. With the quality of your vids you are going to get big!

The Engraved Rehaut, you state that it was introduced on the 116610, along with the cerochrom bezel. I have a (2008) 16610T it also has the engraved rehaut (as does the kermit you show in your video).
Great video though, I never knew mine was a 16610T, just had assumed it was a 16610. It as you mentioned, does not have the lug holes drilled right through.

I thought a key evolution in the latest sub was a departure from the maxi-case with the overly squared thick lugs. Do I have this wrong?

Why the modern submariner without date complication is not called turnograph?

Guys I never owned a Sub, yet I have a JC and SD43. A friend is proposing to swap my tritium SD from 1995 full set, with his 5513 from 1989. Is it a good idea ? Should I pay him any differential cash ?!

It’s hard to decide without seeing the condition. Both are exceptional watches. Owning two sea dwellers is not bad and you don’t need to own a sub per se.
